@@tenkaraonthetrail Session dependent: for unweighted kebari, I prefer the Nissin ASF 360 5:5 and the Daiwa Sagiri 39MC. For weighted kebari, I like the ZeroSum 360 7:3 and TB 36. If I’m up in tighter headwaters, then I scale down to the HM30R or Zerosum 320 7:3.
Hi, Great video and really enjoying the channel. I have a few rods the same as you ( Oni 1 and 3, TBum) but also have non-Japanese rods in my collection. Two of the Japanese rods I´ve enjoyed using this year are the TRC Yari ( probably made by Tenryu) and the River Peak Kiwami. For non-Japanese rods I´ve enjoyed the (mostly glass) Foxfire rod from Dragontail and have ordered the Tanuki Shinobi, which looks very interesting. I also have the T Hunter from Wasatch tenkara, a rod that is very strong but will also cast a level line. I also have the Karasu 360 and 400 rods, which are excellent.
Excellent and very informative. Thank you for all the great info. Looking forward to more of your videos.
Thank you!
Very impressive collection and a good explanation of each. We overlap by 9 rods.
Thank you. Do you have a favorite? I still have a couple spots open👍

Very similar opinions and approach!
Great video, Kris! Amazing collection of rods. Thanks for sharing the collection.
Thanks Jason…it’s still growing!
How can shopping tenkara rod sir
You can shop or buy them online. Try starting with Dragontailtenkara.com or Tenkarabum.com.
Wow. What a great collection. I learned a ton. When I get ready to get my next rod, I'm gonna show my wife this video.
Thanks Deake.
Kamakatsu Suimu ex 5 is the last rod?
Yes it is!
Nice , 4 more people I know have the same rod including me ... I do fish mine everywhere, except the small and bushy streams
@@MS-ux6fp excellent!
Excellent! It’s a very easy casting rod for its size.
@@AnonymousOtters Excellent! I just got the 4.5 as well. No fishing with it yet, just a summary video.

Thanks Damian! I’ve been reading about the Foxfire, Shinobi, and the Karasu rods as well….also the mizuchi. I would enjoy all of those….So many rods!
Hi Damian - I just picked up that Kiwami in the 380 size. Have you fished yours much?
Hi Kris, did you order the Wasabi rod through Anglo&Company website?
Thanks.
Arby
Yes I did. Just email him through the “contact us” link.

Thanks Kris!
You’re welcome! The Wasabi, and the Kowasa, are GREAT rods!

I already have 4 360 rods so I pulled the trigger on the Wasabi 320 instead.
Nice. Let me know how you like it.
