looses a $1,000 drone and ends the video with "It could be worse, I could've gotten skunked." I think that mentality that you convey is why I love your videos.
Wow, that stream looks awesome - a lot of great looking runs, and those cutts looked to be pure. Bummer on the drone. I love these videos; we're in the dog days of summer here in Southeast Louisiana, and in my small stream adventures here, the warmwater fishing has become a bit spotty, so these videos are a great escape. We're headed to the Smokies, finally, next month - will become re-acquainted with my Tenkara.
Thank you for another excellent tenkara adventure! But so sorry about your drone! I’ve always liked your use of drones - always to good purpose, to set the scene, and never over-used. Lovely native fish. I appreciate your tech review of the new rod, and eagerly look forward to your next video.
Those are some beautiful fish. Congrats! I got on the list for the mutant a couple months ago. I bought my daughter the Mizzuci on your recommendation and she loves it. Thanks for taking us along🙏🏻. Hope you find your drone and it’s intact!
I absolutely didn't need another tenkara rod, but $100 was too good a deal to pass up. Plus, I like Dragontail products. I really enjoyed this video. I hope you find your drone.
You have some really nice videos of your adventures. You have been my primary Tenkara You Tube site that I watch. You also introduced me into SUV RVing. This next spring I will head out to the Sierras and the KERN River for Tenkara fishing and SUV camping. I have a 2009 Saturn Outlook and it has plenty of room for me and my gear. Did you ever find your drone? Oh, could you list the size flies you use? Thanks for doing a great job my friend.
Going to have to look into this rod. Used to fish a lot with my Orvis rods but looking at Tenkara fishing so this and the other rods you use may be a nice addition for when I hit the high country again. Hope you find your drone.
@@TenkaraAddict Thanks for clarifying, I heard Fine spotted and related that to a Colorado. Have you heard of Path Less Pedaled? A bike packing and bike fishing channel, it would be cool to see you guys collaborate on a video.
My son lost a similarly priced drone in a very remote area two hours drive away and we spent a total of five days on three separate occasions searching for it but without success. He now has a more beefed-up model but now both with a GPS and automatic alarm system, plus he's super cautious!😉
Good morning TA. Thank you again. Good fishing and nice sized beautiful fish. Hope you find your drone, That's an expensive lesson to learn isn't it? I've heard drones have a built in gps for tracking purposes. Maybe someone here can corroborate/dispute. Just have to find out where to get the information. Good luck! See you next week. Griff
For reasons that aren't terribly interesting, the drone flight log data (which has the GPS information in it) is incomplete, so it's not terribly helpful in locating the drone. Thanks for watching!
That stream is awesome Tristan. Have been fishing one very similar to it here in Mt, yesterday and today. Yesterday caught all cutthroats, today caught 5 brookies. Sorry about the drone.
Do you feel control or reach is more important fishing these small streams? Do you prefer fishing from the bank or in the water? Tree-fishing and multi-tasking bloopers notwithstanding, it was great!
I prefer fishing in the water because it's easier to avoid fly-eating trees. And it's just more fun. I don't think control and reach are mutually exclusive. There are plenty of rods that offer both. Thanks for watching
Streams like that would be my 7th Heaven, I'd never want to leave. Hope you find your drone, I used to fly free flight model aircraft back in the 70s, they had a habit of hiding in trees, they didn't cost so much though.
Man, that's an epic stream. Sorry for the drone loss, they need to add a little beeper on those that you can activate, or come in super florescent colors.
I noticed that you landed all the fish even in the fast water. From watching other videos of yours that is when you lose some fish. It might be coincidence or it might be the rod. You would have to decide that.
I really hope your drone didn't go in the water....Lipo's are highly, highly toxic and don't like to get wet [[[ really need to do one or the other brother........hope you find it, soon.

Lol thanks Charlie!
so true
Thanks Tristan! Getting out and enjoying the beauty of the countryside & those streams, when I'm no longer able, means so much!
So, thanks again!

As far as I know, yes, these are pure cutthroats. Native and wild. Beautiful! Thanks Ian, and good luck on your upcoming tenkara adventures.
Nice fish and stream. Multi tasking doesn’t seem to work!!! I hope you find your drone. Tight lines!!!!
What a relaxing place, with a relaxing way of fishing..
Sure is! Thanks for watching.
Thanks to your vids, I just bought one these as my first Tenkara rod, to take on an upcoming fishing trip to Taos. Looking forward to it.
One of the most beautiful locations that I’ve seen you fish yet! Awesome fish too!
It was a great place to fish, for sure! Thanks for watching.
Man that last cuttie was so golden looking! Nice fish buddy!
Right?? That was an especially beautiful fish. Thanks for watching.

Yep, my thoughts exactly. Thanks Jeremy.
Outstanding fish today. Great creek. Could spend some serious time there.
For sure! There are miles of this stream to fish.

I think you'd like tenkara! The initial investment is relatively low, and you can always just sell your rod if you don't like it 😄
Beautiful place, and nice rod. My poor tenkara rods rarely see trout streams.
I'm sorry to hear that 😢
Colorado's are my fav cutts, what beautiful fish.
These are Yellowstone cutthroats, not Colorado River cutthroats. Both are beautiful, though! Thanks for watching

Awesome! Can't beat fishing this kind of water and catching nice fish 👍
This rod vs the TUSA Sato. Which would you choose?
Thanks for the review. The weekly view of cutthroat beauties? And good luck finding the drone..let us know!
Nice fish there. Sorry about drone. Where is that at? Beautiful creek.
Idaho!
They are some fish, and what a location.
Agreed! Thanks Kim

Nice mate, lovely! 👍🏻
Thanks!
You could mount a small hook on the outside right edge of the net to pull the line over to your right hand
Hmm, would that make things easier or just get in the way?
Hope you find your drone. Thx for another good show.
Thanks for watching!
Great Video, thx for showing! What is the diameter of your tippet do you use?
Greetings from Upper Austria!
I use 5x tippet. Thanks!

Did you find the Drone?
Great videos
Thanks 👍
Great fish and video! Hope you locate your drone!
Thanks Kurt!
It sounds fun.
Going through shipping issues with Dragontail/usps. Hopefully by Monday my package arrives.
Sorry to hear that. But yeah, USPS can be hit or miss. Thanks for watching.
nice fish brother
Thanks James 👍

I believe they do have a beeper you can activate, but the drone has to be connected to the controller still. Mine wasn't.
I noticed that you landed all the fish even in the fast water. From watching other videos of yours that is when you lose some fish. It might be coincidence or it might be the rod. You would have to decide that.
To keep the video shorter, I didn't include the footage of the I think 3 fish I lost. Thanks for watching.
Great video. Sorry about your drone.
Eh, it's not the end of the world. Life goes on!
Im waiting for the elevenkara
You might be waiting a while!
Another Tenkara Saturday morning! Thanks! Sorry about the drone.
Thanks for watching!
i'm not sure why but I get a lot of bass on my Mutant zx380..
I really hope your drone didn't go in the water....Lipo's are highly, highly toxic and don't like to get wet [[[ really need to do one or the other brother........hope you find it, soon.
Nah, pretty sure it didn't go into the water. Thanks for watching 👍
