Good job explaining the benefits! I run the Hydra on my night gun and it's the best mount for passive shooting under night vision.

I did the same thing. I added a clone to my wishlist and my wife got it for me for my birthday. It came the same day I was heading out to play some airsoft with my buddy. I wish i had it before i went, but i came home and it was on the counter. What a crazy difference it makes. But theres NO WAY I'm buying the real one for $350.00. I too am cross eye dominant. Right hand left eye. The speed, and its right there at your eyeball. You're correct about the weight too. I can't wait to try it out next week. I like your shooting cadence and stylized performance. Keep showing how you think and do so others can both learn and give feedback into the marketplace.
Great point for example about full-optical-aiming taking extra time, energy, and safety as opposed to high headed or offset point shooting with both eyes open. Thanks to you for sharing your experience.

I love the Hydra, its cringe on a 16" weapon, but I run it on my Q Honey Badger out of necessity, limited real estate and I have a ton of goodies on the gun, so the Hydra is the perfect solution.

Why is it cringe on a 16? It still lifts the optic and laser to a good postion, and shifts the weights to the middle. And with a longer barrel that weight shift is helpful when you run cqb. Not all of us have the funds for a tax stamp for an SBR either, and some people cant afford AR pistols.
