Yes! I drink tea while reading AT LEAST once a day, but sometimes I do it up to three times a day. I’m literally doing it while I’m writing this, I just decided to take a little TH-cam break! Also, this is a coincidence, because she mentioned chai tea being her favourite kind, and that’s what I’m having!
I read before bed mostly too. I've also started reading at work between appointments. I've recently discovered that snacking helps me from falling asleep too soon when I'm all cuddled up in bed while reading....so I try to have a little something ready to go if I'm wanting to stay up later to read!
Your Chai Tea coffee concoction is fantastic, and Goldfish are the greatest snack. I like to have classic music on when I read. It clears the room easily for me, and blocks out surrounding noise. It gives my brain some undistracting background noise. I am such a bad tub reader, it is not a skill of mine to kudos to you!

Ooh, this was so interesting! I actually have two opposite reading 'routines' one is quite like yours- snuggled up in bed, with a cup of tea at night in pyjamas with no sounds whatsoever. Yet when I use the bus (pretty much everyday) the service into town and back home can either go the long way round or the shorter way round, so I always get the longer route and I have music playing in my earphones whilst I read ( I get quite a lot of reading done on it). I also like to read in the bath too, especially in autumn and winter, I have candles, relaxing music, bubbles, sometimes wine, it's great!
+Rachel Hesketh I could never read with headphones on. I'd be too distracted listening to the music lol. I don't mind having some outside noise, but in the summer I find myself turning on my A/C to block a lot of the noise while I read.
I always listen to the same album (The Trail To Oregon Soundtrack- Team StarKid) over and over again though whilst reading, and walking to and from the bus stops that it does just become background noise. It also blocks out most of others chatting and little kids screaming and I feel like I'm in my own little bubble. Even today I was in the zone, didn't look up once from my book and ended up missing my stop and was almost into town. I had to then catch another bus back home!
Ugh this made me so motivated to read! I know what you mean about the rain! It's so cozy and comfy, and I absolutely read so much when I make a routine out of it!

I’m the complete opposite for reading and eating, I used to read ALL day from 9 am till like 10 pm and not eat all it became SUPER bad for my health and I became underweight so now my parents make me eat at least 2 meals a day.

By holly bourne she is a British author, I actually got my copy in Bishops Stanford (auto correct) I dont know where in the u. k you are staying but there is a book store there that is really good. Also you should read the art of being normal by Lisa williamson. These are both really good books. P.s- For me I listen to music while i read

We have the exact same routines: in bed, snuggled with the puppies, in comfy PJs, no noise. Me to a tee. Though I can`t eat or drink while reading. In fact I've gone many days without eating because I just spent the whole day in bed reading haha. But other than that we're the same!
I usually read totally randomly when it makes sense but sometimes I make big plans. For example tonight is a cozy reading night because the heat seems to have broken here. I'm going to make hot chocolate and snuggle with my cat and blanket on the couch and read.
omg your dogs are sooooo adorable and cute *.* i mostly read when im out or i go out with my mom she goes on stores and i stay outside or i follow her in the store while im reading, i also read during breaks/lunch at school/french course(im not in school now,im taking french classes) i also read during class, and ont he bus when im going to the french course and coming.. i rarely read at my house bc i want to do other stuff like spend all day on the computer watching videos or movies or tv shows or netflix or going on devaintart etc.. so when i get out of the computer its already time to go to bed.. (also to reading my bed is super uncomfortable bc i have bunk bed (after a while it hurts my back when i sit)

I love Chai tea! It is loaded with caffeine so be careful if you drink it at night... Unless you want to stay up. :) I drink sleepy time tea. I love it!!

My reading routine is I get in pjs and get a snack go in my bed turn off all the lights get a flashlight and read for like an hour and go to bed.
