Maybe they thought so, but in doing so they also risked making "A Link To The Past" much more (we know that Nintendo, it's not that they like to repeat games). But yes, maybe it's not a bad idea and it sounds great.
Tbh, this is what shouldve been if you get forward in time at OoT. As you go to Hyrule as adult Link, you should see the whole world in chaos, and the more you free the world of Ganondorf's grasp, the more normal the theme should become, like the hub world from Glover
Actually know some on this one. One of the early concepts for the original Legend of Zelda on NES was it taking place in a futuristic fantasy setting, with the 8 pieces of the triforce being some sort of magic computer chips that had a special power when used together. Fast forward a few years and once again this got brought up in the concepting stage. That turned into the idea of time travel as a game mechanic. Which was bounced around at various early points in development, and is where the 2 worlds mechanic came from. (Change something in the past, change the future.) The name Link to the Past was a holdover from that scrapped design idea. That time travel concept would ultimately be realized in Ocarina of Time, Oracle of Ages, and Skyward Sword.

A mod for OoT called "Master of Time" has the same track included in the game with the OoT soundfont, though it is not the same as what is featured in this video.
The Dark World is the name of the music. It's from A Link to the Past. The title means that the track in question was recreated using the assortment of midi samplings that was used to create Ocarina of Time's in-game music.
it sounds like identical... except upscaled. it's crazy how good it is
This could have been the Adult overworld with dark clouds
Idk, it's still too adventurous. Lost the triumph, but OOT's future hyrule is real somber.
oh definitely
Only the Hyrule Market Town, everything else looks fine

I can only dream of a 3D version of Zelda that goes full Dark World again.
Just a big nasty LTTP at an enormous scale
Lets hope botw 2 has an area similar to the dark world
Sounds like Breath of the Wild but darker
That's just majora's mask.
@@hikaru9624 i dont think he means a "dark" world, he means shifting into a "dark world"
Majora's only has one overworld
@@Substitute_Zero I'm pretty sure he means a darker world going off how he phrased it.
They just posted one of the unused osts like we wouldn't notice
This is really close from the ALTTP sounds, OOT makes it better
bro at 0:27 you can actually hear cellos, made me tear up alittle ngl.
Somewhat reminds me of Four Swords Adventures
Good ear. That's because it used the same instrument sounds for its MIDIs as Ocarina of Time.

Nah, new music is the best part about new Zelda games. ;)
Dang, this is really good!
Your music makes my ears smile 😊
“Link! Look out, the sky isn’t normal!”
An almost stockalike remix. You get a like.
I would like this in the hyrule field but lil bit more mixed.
they did something similar with the zelda 1 main theme in mm's termina field and it was amazing, so this isn't a bad idea
It's ridiculous how similar they are. omg
Amazing work, dude!
This is so well done!!!
This actually comes out in four swords adventures
Kick ass man. Good job 👍
Amazing.
Magnifique ce jeu
Strange this is exactly how it sounds to me on Super Nintendo
Four Swords Adventures is basically this
Proyect URA ZELDA is this! 🙀🙀💜💜
Its called link to the past but it's link to the dark world so I'm not sure where we got lost in translation.

@@SingeScorcher Basically this. However that only applies on the localization afaik, as the japanese name of the game is Triforce of the Gods.

@@mattlol6261 that sounds both realistic and dubious, do you have a source?
Kinda has the same vibe as Majora's Mask's overworld
Hyrule Field as Adult Link
This soundtrack would be great for a remake of A Link to the Past
This reminds me of my undying want for a remake of aLttP with graphics of the Link's Awakening 2017 remake, y'know, the cutesy graphics
Yo that was back in 2017?? Doesn't really seem like it, I think it was actually 2019
you contact anyone in the Zelda OoT/MM randomizer communities? I feel like i've heard this in a ZFG stream vod.

Beautiful!
Welcome to Abello Town.
To bad that we never had a 3D Zelda with a dark world concept. Closesd we had was Zelda Twilight Princes. They should have kept working on Ura Zelda.
Ocarina of Time kind of had it, with the future being slighly apocalyptic, but nowhere near ALTTP's.
oot and TP both had it
You know even before de 64 dd with URA. It could have been more interesting if they came up with a zelda for the "Nintendo Playstation"

Thehell, where is the extended version?
If you played the original song and this version side-by-side and put a gun to my head and told me to tell you which one is the original, I'm dead.
Nice but I kinda wished it's a tad more intense... Not too shabby though.
