This actually makes a lot of sense as the dark world was a copy of hyrule in terms of geography but was filled with monsters and misery with certain landmarks being different and/or replaced with something else. The same could be said of the broken future hyrule in ocarina of time.
Oh absolutely , I know they had contraints and limitations but as adult link the hyrule music should've been different and at least the hyrule field ground should have been brown/yellow and brown dead trees
It's indicative of how conscious of the sound system the composer needs to be. It becomes obvious the original was written with SNES sound card in mind and that a direct 1-to-1 move to N64 music wouldn't work They would need to rearrange the piece completely. Just makes you appreciate how much thought goes into every piece of a game
The SNES soundfonts in general are way thinner than N64 ones, so when you just swap them like that that's what you get (that said, maybe choosing different instruments to replace for could make it sound better, I just assume the dude chose the obvious ones, generally there aren't a whole lot of options on those older games soundfonts')
I can definitely see this as being a good overworld theme for Adult Link, sure, but you know what would be an interesting detail as well? I wish the sky would stay dark and sinister like when you're near the drawbridge or Lon Lon Ranch, just to add that extra punch of "Hyrule isn't like it was seven years ago".
@@Akirathehusky A shame that, the sky could've lightened up as you liberate each temple, restoring the beauty of the world until all six sages are awakened and the only dark patch left is Hyrule Castle. As it is, with its blue sky, identical music and lack of enemies, the future in the final game doesn't seem as back as what its made out to be.
This is really good! The one suggestion I would have is to wrk on the balance of your sounds. As another comment pointed out, it does sound a bit crowded at times, but is otherwise quite impressive!
I would say a more accurate instrumentation of this actually already happened in Four Sword Adventures' "Infiltration of Hyrule Castle" track. That game uses practically the same soundfont (especially the strings)
Just earned a sub from me, this stuff is great - and also, agreed with the person who thinks that this should've been Hyrule Field's theme during the Adult Timeline. This is so good.
This should be the Hyrule theme in the adult timeline.
fr tho, didn't think about that

it should be a mod!

Now I just want that as a mod...
Would've been Hyrule's theme when Link became an adult in OoT.
This one is really interesting; it sounds almost crowded in some places, and makes me wonder how the instruments are chosen from the original

Keeping the sky dark was originally the plan but the developers feared it would take away the beauty from the game.

The whole mechanic of being able to go between child and adult is pretty much just this game's version of the dark world so it would fit
@@ShadowVincent3it does stay dark near the lost woods shortcuts. And there is the sky on death mountain, zoras fountain and lake hylia.
@@ShadowVincent3it does in the 3ds Version
this would fit termina field ngl
Several people in the comments of already said this but they should definitely have been the Hyrule field theme as adult link
This is best Zelda Song ever.

One of the best themes in all of zelda
reminds me of Four Swords Adventures ^^
This theme slaps!! So good!!
I’m gonna play this theme next time I’m driving over two hours to go see my girl lol
couple of flat notes but mostly great!
This makes sense since in a couple hundred years if the Hero of Time dies, this would play
thank youu this is so much better than the other version on here
It sounds a bit weird whith strings as melody. They should probably be used for harmony but it's still impressive.
the original used strings for the melody
ALttP Style to the OoT❤
Cool!
Wonderful!
nice!
Did anyone come here expecting it to sound like the Song of Storms?
We should get a link to the past remake in the style of link's awakening HD
Thank you
this should play in adult link timeline
I need the whole ost
The dark golden land
👍👍👍
May I please use this as the BGM in at least one video? I will give you credit in the description.
