it makes so much sense to put loop stuff before effects and slowly tweak! It really allows you to get all William basinski and slowly degrade/change a loop overtime thus keeping it interesting. great idea. thanks for the 5am inspiration.

Good day to you Mr Othling, I am from the UK and happened upon your music purely by accident.
Having listened to much of it now, I must admit to being somewhat entranced. The Sketches are indeed some of your finest work and quite exceptional.
As well as a committed adherant of transcendental meditation these past 30 years, I am a "drone pilot" filming soaring videos of the beauty of English countryside in a small town called Malvern.
I would like to ask your permission to combine your delightfully inspiring music with my footage as I think it would enhance my work whilst showcasing your incredible talent.
I am profoundly touched by your creations and thank you for sharing it with the world.
    Bless.

Amazing! Do you think you will ever revisit the ambient tutorials? I would be incredibly interested to see how you got that drone sound or just ambient sounds that extend further than guitar in general. Keep it up man you are a huge inspiration to me.

Andy - Thank you for creating your music. Truly an inspiration for me. Technical question for you; When you run your Chieftain and Clubman in stereo, do you use the effects loop or plug straight in the front of the amp?
Take Care.. keep up the good work!

Incredible as always! What made you switch from the Boomerang to the Ditto x4? I switched the other way around, from a Ditto x4 to a Boomerang. And how do you make it so seamless when using the looper as the last pedal?

Jazz masters have a really nice warm tone, very buttery (they also handle effects quite well,) I personally use a Jaguar which has a bit more bite (good for shoegazeas well) but still works beautifully. Both of those would work well. Or whatever you have (:
