Hey Andrew, just wanted to drop by to say I through some money your way for these Ambient Songs. I have been listening to them on TH-cam since you started posting them, and decided that you deserved some money for all the hard work you have put in to giving us this amazing music. These songs and the Lowercase Noises stuff has been the soundtrack to my homework, and has helped immensely. Even though I am a poor college student living off almost nothing, I loved giving you some money. Respect man
I've been listening your ambient song's, sounds extraordinary well, peacefull and inspiring. Maybe you can improvise with your setup a longer "ambient song" longer than 40 minutes, because it's no longer enough to meditate, but it's only a suggestion, wonderfull work, congratulations. I don't know if I wrote the correct words, beacause I'm from Chile.
This music touches my soul too and takes me someplace that makes me sad and happy at the same time. This young man is very talented. Yes, slowing down is something we all should try...
You're a huge inspiration for my guitar playing. Always pushing the limits of what a guitar can sound like. Please don't ever stop creating these gorgeous atmospheres.
@chanc3d I think he's using the plate mode on the blue sky, it allows for the long trails which when added with the modulate on the RV-5 causes it to give it that cavern sound.
To be more precise: I recommend you to buy a Boss RV5, this has a modulate-mode wich is similair to the sound of this artist. And to focus on the delay, I recommend a Boss DD7-delay wich has also an hold mode to loop your music(only 40 seconds of looping time).
And sometimes i want the clouds to part, and i want the light to come through, until there is nothing but light, and i want it to swallow me up and all that's dark, and when the light fades i want to find myself drifting away among the stars.
@tubescreamer i used to love playing about with sounds like this, when i had a solid state amp with built in effects, when i was about 13. i got my self a valve amp less than a year ago. but since then havent been able to afford any decent effects. i love delay, but ive had to simple do without it as the pedal alone is a quarter of what my amp cost me. love your music though, thanks for uploading this inspiring sound
@lihenow I've recently got rid of my CS-3 for the same reason. It just didn't sound right somehow and I couldn't find a setting that made much difference with it. I know compression is quite a subjective 'effect' but I find that I'm much happier with my new Rothwell Love Squeeze. I don't know how it stacks up against a Diamond compressor, but it certainly beat a lot of other high end pedals in the same price bracket. May be worth a look.
This is the sound I want. Magical, soothing, and deep but tuned full step down A=432. I would love to know the pedals used here? I'm trying to get that Hammock "Maybe They Will Sing For Us Tomorrow" sound. would really appreciate the input.
If we could take a picture of your brain with and MRI machine I'm pretty sure we would see shining, glowing and blinding light. This is, just, beautiful. Oh, and the MRI would explode.
Great sound man. I am just kinda start to shape my sound. I use a Mexico Fender, do you think is it a big difference to American Fender? Do you use the clean channel in your amp? Do you think EH Memory Man is way better than sound in DL4? Sorry about two many questions. Thanks in Adavance!!!!!!!!!!!
@tubescreamer Is it really that good, even with a Matchless next to it? I used to a have a blues jr (stock black tolex) that was just alright but this sounds killer. I love your tones and playing. I currently have an AC15 which I love but this would be cool, maybe even to run both in stereo. Also hows the elcapistan? It looks cool. I have a DD-5 and a DMM but I think the Strymon would be the icing on the cake.
someones car horn went off in my street during this, and it being dull through the window, worked so well with this, I nearly commented asking how you did it. then took headphones off to realise.
@tubescreamer yo I absolutely love your sounds and I've done some pretty good ambient songs...but I just started recording...anyway I have the RV-5 dd, the ernieball jr volume pedal, the line 6 dl-4, the boss dd-7, boss tuner, god 2 morpheus, and the fulltone fulldrive 2 non-mosfet. SOOO u use the pog pedal...how is that pedal, cause every video i look at they're always talking about dry tone comparison and sub harmonix but i thought it was a harmonix pedal for high pitch sounds what does it do?
what reverb type are you using on the blue sky? I have a wet reverb and I'm looking for a reverb to go along with it and I'm going between the blue sky and rv-5. Does the modulate on the blue sky compare to the rv-5 well?
I don't know if you do covers or not, could you do "Live Forever" by MOBY please please that song should be awesome for you to do. Maybe a stupid question but have you listened to "Snowball" by Moby?? I love his music as I do yours
i'd love to know which pedal (or combination of pedals) is primarily responsible for the trailing cave-esque reverb effect? as always, amazingly beautiful stuff.
out of curiosity How much is improvised and how much is preplanned? This style lends it self to creative play i like the idea of no performance or recording of something ever being the same...
How do you get the sound you use for the first bit with the VP and that? Be awesome if you could send me on my way to finding out? Would really appreciate it
How much delay have you dialed in? You don't hear the repeats at all. And at 1:19 - how's your POG settings? As you can tell, I'm really a big fan of your sounds and videos. Thanks.
good job my friend. I like this. It kind of reminds me of Mogwai a bit. Have you heard of them? What chords are you using if you dont mind me asking? I am trying to get the whole ambient thing down.

this has to be one of my favorites out of your ambient song list. #16 is where it's at!
How about an updated version of this Andy? Just glorious! ❤

@ProdigyKimXP That's great to hear... thanks for listening!
You're a huge inspiration for my guitar playing. Always pushing the limits of what a guitar can sound like.
Please don't ever stop creating these gorgeous atmospheres.
Just had the most relaxing nap ever to your playlist!
@melven62 It's the PGS limited blues jr III, has a vintage 30 in it. It's awesome.
Im back and still loving it!
no looper needed!
thank you for sharing your lovely music with us :)
mate.. mate .. mate !! ur bloody good .. u got some real talent .. thx for sharing it with us :)
Ah man this sounds so good. When you adjust that pog; it's like heaven for my ears!
@chanc3d I think he's using the plate mode on the blue sky, it allows for the long trails which when added with the modulate on the RV-5 causes it to give it that cavern sound.
Andrew...love your pieces and this new one too...nice to see that you are performing as well/ cheers.
beautiful as always. very reminiscent of your older stuff. loved it.
@richardpearlmasters It's mostly the Micro POG which only has the upper octave dialed in. So everything I play is an octave up. Plus delay and reverb.
@chanc3d I used the plate mode. The modulate on the RV-5 is way better.
@DepthWave i think this is a compliment? thanks?
you are great God bless you andy
Outstanding piece of ambient work!

Great job Andy. Love it. I just traded my POG 2, now I'm thinking about getting a Micro Pog! lol You rock. Love it.
The soundtrack to my homework. Thanks for keeping me calm brother :)
So relaxing amazing sound.
You sir are incredible!
sounds great, but I was napping to your album and this track gave me weird dreams and made me wake up, but it was good
i will get this sound or die trying. giving you credit of course if i use it in any of my music. thank you, this is beautiful.
Fantastic deep sound! Thank you.
@bienbibnito no, it's the regular mono VP Jr.
@KristineLivingston Hi Kristine, I believe I was in Single mode B. And there wasn't any of the reverb mixed in.
Wow, this is beautiful. Love it!
I need this song for a movie!
This sounds amazing! Simple as that!
@jallstars Hey, I use a Flip Ultra HD.
@gannonsamuel It is roughly planned out, but not completely. I just kinda go with it.
Beautiful
And sometimes i want the clouds to part, and i want the light to come through, until there is nothing but light, and i want it to swallow me up and all that's dark, and when the light fades i want to find myself drifting away among the stars.
If we could hear the Angels sing in Heaven it would be this song.
very hammock style,,, nice man!
Love the tone, great stuff man!
Check out explosions in the sky or Ascend the hill... they have awesome ambient swells...
@greggsovereasy Thanks man!
great work
Really enjoy listening to your music. Subbed
Great sounds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@Atlantisbanduk a reverb would be good.
Cool work !
fantastic man, great sound!!!

Great... congratulations.
This is what heaven sounds like.
@muggle911 yeah.

@Andikay987 Thanks for the suggestion!!! I am trying to find the difference between Rothewell and Diamond, it seems Diamond is more quite..
@LemonTartProductions I would not be opposed!
@whitespace73 I'm pretty sure it's his strymon blue sky reverb
Man I love love how clear your swells are. I guess part of that is your compressor, right?
nice tones.
amazing
could you do a video explaining the micro pog? i cant find any good videos surprisingly, if not thanks anyway ur an inspiration!!
This is the sound I want. Magical, soothing, and deep but tuned full step down A=432. I would love to know the pedals used here? I'm trying to get that Hammock "Maybe They Will Sing For Us Tomorrow" sound. would really appreciate the input.
@Atlantisbanduk All my guitar, nothing pre recorded.
If we could take a picture of your brain with and MRI machine I'm pretty sure we would see shining, glowing and blinding light.
This is, just, beautiful.
Oh, and the MRI would explode.
@rokomichi funny you should say that!
@improvisation07 Timefactor is in need of repair. I don't feel any desire for the Timeline at this point.
Isn't this Persistence from your EP Migratory Patterns?? I love this song!
@tubescreamer
Is it really that good, even with a Matchless next to it? I used to a have a blues jr (stock black tolex) that was just alright but this sounds killer. I love your tones and playing. Something about this piece leads me to believe that you're certainly going to be getting a lot of attention from labels someday
beautiful! i know you had an ac30 a while ago, you just prefer the blues jnr and the matchless?
@JOHNGIFTED I would not be opposed.
very good! what fx are you using at the beginning of the video?
Thanks for this great moment!
This is simply amazing.
What are you using for the long trails?
How important is running stereo to achieving this style and tone?
I think you should record an alternative "Blade Runner" soundtrack. Your music is outstanding!
Not even the bumerang looper?. Sounds great by the way
@stul9045 i think you should be more concerned how well it sounds next to that cheiftain!
@tubescreamer hey =)
is there any limit of how many loops you can have going at the same time ?
which matchless amp is this?
what reverb type are you using on the blue sky? I have a wet reverb and I'm looking for a reverb to go along with it and I'm going between the blue sky and rv-5. Does the modulate on the blue sky compare to the rv-5 well?
Thanks, for this song ;)

i'd love to know which pedal (or combination of pedals) is primarily responsible for the trailing cave-esque reverb effect? as always, amazingly beautiful stuff.
How is there a droning backing sound for the entire thing? (: Are the repeats of the delay and the space in the reverb that high?
out of curiosity How much is improvised and how much is preplanned?
This style lends it self to creative play
i like the idea of no performance or recording of something ever being the same...
@rokomichi was thinking the same thing! I hear drums taking it over the edge.
Sounds killer! What's the red amp? A Texas red blues jr?
How do you get the sound you use for the first bit with the VP and that? Be awesome if you could send me on my way to finding out? Would really appreciate it
How much delay have you dialed in? You don't hear the repeats at all. And at 1:19 - how's your POG settings?
As you can tell, I'm really a big fan of your sounds and videos. Thanks.
WOW, you've got a Matchless now, I love you ! (sorry I didn't see before recent videos)
thanks for this ear candy !
good job my friend. I like this. It kind of reminds me of Mogwai a bit. Have you heard of them? What chords are you using if you dont mind me asking? I am trying to get the whole ambient thing down.
@Ivaninterpol Huh? ... :)
Hi there, great tone you have there. Just a quick question, why did you decide for the micropog instead of the POG2?
some intense harmonics going on there
What do you do for living?
you could write music for sad scenes in movies.
fucking beautiful
