I just found your podcast - I enjoy your calm and peaceful voice. And I like the fact that you are using Fisherman’s Wool and other budget friendly yarns. I am getting tired of podcasts that are only knitting with indie dyed or other high priced yarns. Great job! I’ve subscribed-looking forward to more episodes.
I really enjoyed this podcast - so many beautiful knits. I'm not really into stripes, but your Lyon sweater is gorgeous and looks amazing on you. I just finished the Eva cardigan and I'm tempted to knit the Lyon as it has a similar construction. I modified my Eva cardigan by adding a double-knitted button band. This was my second time ever doing it and it was not as bad as the first time. Maybe I knew what I was getting myself into so I just rolled with it; the final product makes the effort so much worth it. I'm trying to decide on my next project: Stockholm sweater v-neck or October sweater. But I also want to knit another Agnete cardigan or the November jacket - so many choices 😆.
@@toksknits Definitely go for the good stuff... it is super squishy and feels so nice. I made mine using 1 strand of woolyknit British wool and 1 strand of Drops kid silk. It worked out well because the Drop yarn was very soft(I find some Drops kid silk scratchier than other). I will probably use Isager or a premium mohair.
I had to laugh when you said “petite knit gets you“ because she recently got me with a picture of her chestnut dress. This is an old pattern and one that I had forgotten about but now I am obsessed and have to knit it. Lol.
@@toksknits I haven’t decided. Have you picked a yarn yet? I’m considering spinning the yarn myself because I have a beautiful chocolate brown fleece. Then I would only need to purchase the mohair.
@@lisafall3561 I’m thinking of using the recommended yarn by Hjeholts and Mohair by Canard but that would be a major investment. I feel like I deserve it since I haven’t bought yarn in a while.

Your work is gorgeous ❤ How long have you been knitting ?
About 2 years now. But I learnt how to knit as a kid. ❤️

Omg I have that on my list. What yarn are you using?
