      I've been noticing that she has been doing a lot of non-keto ingredients recently and calling it keto, like using corn, carrots, and tapioca starch. She's going to ruin someone's keto diet with her recipes.

    So I tried this recipe yesterday with slight variations and it was awesome. I couldn’t find lupin flour, so Instead, I did 1/4 cup unflavored whey protein isolate powder and 2 scoops of unflavored collagen powder (both powders amounting to a little under 1/2 cup)
    For my fruits, I used frozen strawberries which I cut into slices and added to a non-stick pot with 5 tablespoons monk-fruit sweetener and 1 teaspoon xanthan gum and within 12 minutes, I got a jam-like consistency. Let it cool completely before using it in your dump cake. Since I added sweetener in the strawberry, I decided to reduce my sweetener in my dry ingredients, by adding only 6 tablespoons monk-fruit sweetener. Once I added my strawberry jam, I also layered low-fat Philadelphia cream cheese (mixed with a little fresh cream, a teaspoon vanilla flavoring and a teaspoon pumpkin spice) on top. Next I added a beaten egg to my dry flour ingredients and mixed it well. It was slightly crumbly but I just added it on top of the cream cheese, topped with walnuts and squares of cool butter. It was truly delicious. I really loved it, it tasted like an upside down pie.
    Thank you Mayra, for taking the time, energy and effort of making these delicious recipes for us. Yet most of the comments seem to be complaints. I’m sorry for the negativity. And to those who claim that this is not keto, please know that there are so many ways we can work around a recipe and make slight variations to fit our needs. The least we can do is say “thank you” and show some love and appreciation for the time, dedication and continuous content that we receive from this channel.

    The nutritional label list 8 net carbs for 1/3 C of apples and cherries each. While it’s not very much, if your macros allow for this dessert in your day, then do so. If it doesn’t, then don’t. I, for one, appreciate this dessert as an option. No, I’m not going to fix it every week as a dessert option! But, instead of a cheat day during the holidays, fix this and enjoy this as a much better cheat option. I mean ...you can get kicked out of ketosis with broccoli if you eat too much for goodness sake. You do you! Thank you Myra! I love this as an option!

    I am low carb rather than keto. I’m blessed that I can eat more carbs per day than most people and Myra is not the first person I’ve seen who uses apples in low carb recipes. It all depends on portion size and paying attention to your total carbs. I could personally never do keto, I just can’t keep my carbs that low. So, recipes like this are a lovely, occasional treat.

    Dump Cake is one of my favorite desserts, and I love seeing it made Keto Friendly. ~ I usually make it with fresh picked blackberries or a fresh strawberry/rhubarb mix. Amazing. ~ I've also found that cutting the butter into the cake mix until crumbly makes for a better topping. The butter is evenly distributed and gives a more crispy texture.

    Before people accuse me of being police, please consider your daily carb allotment before making this. A 1/3 cup of this cherry pie filling is 7 net carbs!!! That's not including carbs from cream cheese or almond flour..or if you don't measure or have a heavy hand.. It also comes with corn starch to thicken the product. I'm sure 7 net carbs does taste good when half are from real sugar! Low carb at best with a ridiculously small serving. Just make a cake and make a cream cheese sauce with a lower carb berry. Way more control over higher carb items. This cake wont meet my goals and feel I needed to say something for those that aren't aware. 🖖

      @dana102083 you are correct, quite a bit more carbs considering many are only allowed 20 to 30 carbs on a day. But for those that have reached a goal, this would be a great pot luck dish. I'd probably eat a spoonful of each. Sweets aren't my trigger point😬

    I’ve followed your recipes and love them! But you should definitely take the keto title out of this. You might confuse people that are starting out and might hinder ppls success with keto. Apples, peaches and cherries are a no no on keto. Still looks yummy! Unfortunately can’t eat this as I’m no where near my goal weight. Thanks for all the awesome recipes

      Myra includes all carb, etc., info in the links above as she mentions clearly. All beginners should be calculating this info in everything they eat. For me, I would make a smaller batch, add the cream cheese blend to everything and make it to share. A 10 carb treat once in awhile KEEPS me on Keto! Something to look forward to ~~

      I am new to keto and I do not feel hindered or confused. In fact I feel quite the opposite. If I am longing for an apple fritter or the like, now I know what I can make to satisfy tht craving for way less carbs. I would even consider just taking a few slices and putting them on top of my keto frozen waffle or I might heat a few up in the microwave with a serving of vanilla keto ice cream. am so impressed by keto followers that never go out of keto or eat something they really want (do they exist if we are honest?) It is simple to watch Myra's video where she talks about net carbs per day and then see net carbs in a recipe.

      @Adrian Wilson I am sticking to 20 carbs per day and can arrange my menus so that I can have a serving of this here and there without a problem! Also, Myra indicated that her serving size was based on 15 servings which would be quite large servings. I base mine on 20 servings. Lower carb and more to share with others!

    Using those canned fruit would be out of the question for me. I would make my own blueberry and strawberry fillings, and use chayote to make an "apple" filling.

    I have tried all three and love all three and was actually looking to make a peach one and found ur recipe for low carb. Thanks for this recipe. I've been diabetic since December 2016 and I miss my desserts. I can't wait to try this. I'll have to order some things but I'll make it next week. U have just made my day.

    All of those canned pie filling fruits, especially the cherry, have corn starch thickener. That is way beyond dirty keto. They may not say it because it's a small amount but just looking at you getting the cherries out I can see the thickened syrup. This is cheating. All those fruits are high in their own natural sugars and definitely will throw you out of ketosis. The only fruits you should be eating, even on dirty keto, is berries, in small quantities. Check the carb count on those 3 fruits alone: 1 medium apple is 16 net carbs, 1 cherry is 1 carb, and 1 cup of sliced peaches is 16 carbs. Please don't fool yourself and think this kind of thing is okay just because you use almond flour to make the cake. Maybe if you hit your goal it might be okay but don't call this dessert Keto because it isn't.

      100% agree. Definitely not keto or low carb by any means. I believe she needs to go back and learn what the "keto" and "low carb" diets are and the foods that are involved. Even if she didn't go back and educate herself on true keto and true low carb, it doesn't take much to research the nutrition info on a particular food.

I only made it known so that all these people don't just make it without doing their research and get thrown out of ketosis (which she actually does say in the video that it won't throw you out) or a diabetic has a sugar spike. I did NOT put her down for it because she does have some very good video's. Some delicious food. But this one she didn't do the research on the fruits. She must have assumed that if you are doing dirty keto that all fruits were allowed. Yes, you are right, before putting up a video she should check the carbs on the ingredients. I also don't like the ones that others on here do that put no values at all and claim it's Keto but then you find out it's not. I have been kind of following keto for almost 2 years but been cheating alot this past 6 months. But I know what I can and can't have. And I can't have apples, oranges, cherries or peaches.

    Most of those ingredients aren't keto mostly not low carb either those fruits are pretty Carby and with the other ingredients it would go over your macros very very easily

      exactly. I'm not going to say this doesn't look good technically you could call it low carb but this is definitely not keto no I'm not the keto police but I'm here to tell you it's not Keto. And this would definitely kick me out of ketosis, even just one serving.
      Stick to berries if you're going to eat fruit. Fruit are not Keto.

      To be honest I would be afraid to call it keto because someone who is insulin resistant like me or even worse diabetic on any level would not be good. I'd feel safer calling it low carb but never keto. Because it's definitely not keto. Had my hopes up, Thought it was some kind of clickbait but made healthy strict keto LOL. I still watch her channel though she's got some good stuff I'm going to make her hot tamales real soon! My neighbors in my old neighborhood, Aurelio on Christmas Eve he would bring us homemade hot tamales that his wife and the kids made. I miss those! I've moved and I'm keto so her recipe would fit the bill! Would love to make the red chili hot tamales I don't know if she has a video for that one yet

      Failan Parker & @@MC1RPOSITIVESusieQ - I agree with you ladies. I follow a keto diet for pre-diabetes condition. Those fruits would be too much for me, I only eat a few berries. Also the sweetener sucralose may alter glucose and insulin levels. Thanks for making people aware. I still give her credit for her great recipes, I'm considering the tamales recipe. It's up to each person to be aware, do the research and not blindly trust everything labeled keto, specially if diabetic or pre-diabetic.

      @@lumiere5772 most definitely! wasn't trying to be negative but I do feel that anyone who's following a ketogenic lifestyle is doing it for one or more reasons and they should be aware of how much sugar natural or not is really in this period if you are insulin resistant or diabetic technically you should be paying attention to total carbs not just net. This right here could actually put me in the hospital if I felt like being an emotional eater because it's so good and eating the whole thing lol. People do that, when something's good sometimes you just want to eat it and something like this definitely would spike my glucose through the roof. this is why I own a keto mojo even though I'm not diabetic and haven't been for three years :)

    I have made dump cake, similar to the cherry portion. But this version with 3 different opts?! Loving this concept. Sure to be a fan favorite?! Happy Dance!! AND now it's Keto! This could be bad??! Yikes!! Not to mention how beautiful it is in that glass baking dish! Tfs...

    Cherry cheesecake has to be my one all-time favorite dessert! My second favorite is blackberry pie, followed by strawberry/rhubarb. I'd probably experiment with a different thickener than is used in the canned pie fillings, since it's a modified corn starch (ClearJel) that is shelf stable. That way I could eat more than one bite. :-) (My carb limit is pretty low right now.) An alternate thickener could be made with Xanthan gum or glucomannan. (I've tried both, and they work well.) This gives me ideas for endless possibilities! Thank you!

    This is not keto, you should remove that from the title. Low carb maybe but definitely not keto with the fruits chosen.

      Not low carb either because of the fruits chosen. They have high amounts of natural sugar that makes them high in carbs. This recipe is definitely not keto or low carb by any means. She definitely needs to change the name of this video.

      @@JT-ht2ds Keto is low sugar and low carb. You have to look at carbs AND ingredients. Look up the fruits used in this. The fruit alone contains way to many carbs to be considered keto which is why they aren't on any keto list, even if just counting net carbs. Then look at the ingredients. Many of those ingredients in these canned fruits are not keto. Many are just clever names for sugar without them actually saying sugar, same for the thickeners in it which are generally starches of some kind. Research keto, how is done and which foods are allowed on it and which aren't. Most of it is common sence and easy to follow.

    This is delicious! Well, for the most part. Next time, I'm making my own pie filling. I can't stand the taste of sucralose. And it doesn't seem to agree with my stomach. If it hadn't been for that sucralose, this would have been perfect! (I only did apple) I can't wait to make it again and see how I can tweak it. ❤️ Thank you!!

    Well, the fruit you chose for this cake contains too much sugar itself. Apples are the worst fruit for the keto diet (or low carb diet) as they are loaded with sugar. The same goes for peaches and cherries. They don't need to add any other sugar-type sweeteners in the cans. The fruit is just a big no-no for the keto diet. If you need to eat fruit, then use berries, but only some are suitable for keto diet - strawberries, raspberries and blackberries. They contain the least sugar (fructose) of all fruits.

      however you need to remember every one is different and there is many ways to do keto.. I do Keto/Paleo and works great for me.. She is doing something special for HER family..

      I agree, apples are way too high in carbs for my version of Keto. However, cherries and peaches are actually lower in carbs than berries. I would use the frozen (thawed) version of cherries and peaches (and maybe some blueberries) without any sweeteners added. Otherwise this looks like a really tasty recipe.

      Finally thank you Dana for stating the obvious. Peaches and apples even without added sugar are in no way keto. I am on keto for health reasons and I haven't had those for over 3 years. Berries really are the only keto friendly fruit. Specifically if you are on a Keto diet trying to lose weight like my mom is, you would definitely avoid apples, peaches and cherries.

    This isn’t keto. Only keto fruits allowed are berries, tomato, avocado, etc. It makes me not trust your recipes.

      She said keto friendly which differs from keto. Another fruits that are keto are strawberries and blackberries. So you can trust. And technically...it all depends what else you eat throughout the day. If all you ate was meats and greens, your carbs can be 20 carbs worth of most food.

    Frozen fruits are a cleaner option. Is it one cup almond flour or 12 T almond flour? One cup is 16 T. Where did the coconut flour go? Looks amazing, anyway. Can't wait to try it! (Later) I made just the cherry cheesecake portion. The cherries and crust w/pecans is amazing, but I find the cream cheese part a little heavy. I'll add more fruit to balance it out. Thanks for a great recipe!

    Could you comment on the negative comments below saying this is not Keto and that you could ruin someone's progress. They say that you chose wrong fruits. Are your macro's correct below, if so how can they argue....would it kick someone out of ketosis or not? It would be a nice change if this dessert is Keto friendly.       She is severely misinformed about "No sugar added" products. Just because a product substitutes sugar for sucralose, it doesn't make it keto. The Cherries and peaches alone will kick you out of keto, and add on to that the corn starch they use to thicken the canned fruit with makes it that a couple of spoonful's will kick you out.

    I do that but use a little of the sugar free pillsbury yellow cake mix. And I melt the butter and pour over before baking. But will try your cake mix you made and also put the pats of butter.

    Yeah this will definitely kick you out of ketosis. Replace those high sugar fruits with fresh or frozen berries. Better yet use all 1 kind like raspberries or blackberries. No real issues with the topping
