I freakin love this movie man... I went into it not knowing much, but ended up smiling through the entire movie.
The "MN" in the politician's initials refers to 'Yaman" or "Yama", the god of Death. Hindus believe that Yama travels on his buffalo to the Earth to capture the souls of the dead (sometimes; at other times his messengers do this job) and then sit in judgment, based on the person's deeds (or karma), whether he/she will go to Heaven or Hell.
