Whenever you think you've over done it w/ a bright color ink(pink), you can always tone it down by going back over it w/ a brown(vintage photo) 😉 Great ideas for up-cycling packaging...TFS!! 😊💖

I used tags that I already had cut and I had to stop the video to do the sewing. I left the tags a little plain because I can add little finishing touches when I use them. I just received scraps in happy mail and I have a nice selection to work with. Much love ❤❤❤

Absolutely stunning journaling cards, luv them. I did some painting with the inks the other day for the first time, was pleased with the effect. I ordered one of those books from Abebooks, it’s a great website. I haven’t done much crafting today, hubby decided he wanted to change the furniture in my crafting corner, so we did that then had to go to chemist to get my prescription and post your daughters things, so not a great deal of time, but hey there’s always tomorrow lol. Xxhugsxx

Yes, Crafty Individuals really do make the most beautiful stamps don't they? No, steampunk isn't really my thing either. I always forget about World Books, must have a look on there........not that I need any more books, lol! It's been miserable and rainy here today, apparently we are going to get some snow flurries on Sunday. Stay warm you too x

The pink wiped off because it’s a distress ink and not a distress oxide ink. The oxides tend to work better with water.

Tina i use the packing from anything i purchase, no.matter what it is , even.medication boxes , they don't have pretty designs tho , n that butterfly 1 im glad you changed the colour n the number it ended up just beautiful xx alanna

These pieces are wonderful! I love the idea of using up some of the packaging we get. I have that bird book you showed! When making a journal for my sister-in-law I took one of the full pages and backed it with coffe stained paper, folded it up, then tucked it into a large pocket as extra journaling space. Sshe loved it! Hugs and blessings, :)

Tina they look like chickadees, I always keep my packing because we can always use them for tags or something else for our journals. Whooo love the book
I would photocopy the birds so that youll always have them available for future projects...

Recycling! Very climate change aware! If you want to make something stand out perhaps a fine black pen could draw inside the edge of your butterfly. Or not ☺️ I love using bits and pieces like packaging or magazines but these are super pretty and I love watching your processes as you sort what you is pleasing to your eyes. 🌷💐 ps saw snowdrops, daffodils and crocuses out today. Brave flowers and balm to my eyes.

That's awesome, let's hope it means spring is not too far off.......although I just heard them forecast snow flurries on Sunday, so it might be a while away yet. My Dad is due to have his jab on Saturday, which is awesome. Hope you're staying safe x

Don’t kill it with the lace
Instead of ripping the page out of a nice cheep book,I would take it to my printer and print it off,therefore you still got the image????
Annie Hartley I can’t bring myself to tear up books so I do the same thing, I copy them & I will keep the images for other projects. 🇺🇸❤️🌵
