I just picked up a 55" Hisense U8K 144hz - for my PS5 Slim. The best buy salesperson seemed knowledgeable but had no clue that PS5 and certain games can use up to 120hz (MW3) whereas he claimed PS5 only can handle 60hz. Picture quality, color, brightness and contrast is amazing as it is MiniLED as well. Highly recommend!

I bought the Samsung Neo Qled Qn90c. I have no regrets about it. Its absolutely home theater and gaming. It was on sale when i Bought it, for the same price as a Sony X80L. Which is a very good deal for its specs.
It’s a great tv! If you haven’t already I recommend you look into tv calibration settings because you’ll see the image gets MUCH better! Or at least keep it in cinema mode when you watch movies haha cz Samsung tends to over saturate the colours of their TV and it makes the image look unnatural

Bro you didn’t even mention the Samsung QN90/95 series. I’ve got the QN90C (43 inch). The viewing angles on the 43’’ kind of suck but that doesn’t matter to me because I always sit in front. All HDMI ports support 2.1 120hz. We have a bright living room and I can easily game at daytime because of the brightness. To get the right setting for each type of content/HDMI port takes some time but is definitely worth it.
I don't get the hype behind Oleds. Anyone who has actually owned these panels will realize how much of a problem screen burn ins are, qled/miniLed are way better than those overrated and mediocre Oleds panels

I Do recommend playing gaming consoles on a monitor over TV. Here's the reasons because 1 no. Input lag because Tvs Can have input lag Monitors have better refresh rates. That's the reason I would choose a monitor over television if I want to experiment on Nintendo games. I'm not a fan of PlayStation or Xbox The TV I mostly use on blu-ray discs And to do some streaming apps with my Amazon fire stick I mean, I can hook up a gaming console on the TV.If I want to because you can lay in the couch but I still recommend having a gaming monitor even if it 1080p Resolution, because it just gives me better experiment than the tv

And as for refresh rate on the TV to monitor if the tvs can handle 140hz that’s still 140fps max it can handle which is near the same as most monitors anyway so your point is somewhat invalid…. Ps5 and Xbox do handle 4K 120hz so aslong as your TV can match it most likely be the same as a monitor……..

The LG OLEDs are king of the hill when it comes to lowest of the lowest input lag for to my knowledge basically all tvs. I may be incorrect but I would challenge anyone to find another brand of tv with a lower input lag than a LG OLED for gaming. I've owned both Oled and miniled panels, I'd take miniled over oled anyday, especially given that Oleds aren't just bright enough and also prone to screen burn ins

I've just had to return an LG QNED81 50" because motion in any game was horrid. this weird green like colour would appear. tried everything to solve it but no luck. I want to know if its all qled panels or was I just unlucky. I'm scared to buy another now ie a Samsung qn90c I'm looking at
I had a LG C2 a couple of years ago, but it suddenly kept turning off on its own. There was a line on the screen and it couldn’t be fixed. Luckily, I had a warranty on it, I am currently thinking about a Hisense, I have a PS5 as well. Hopefully this will be a good purchase.
Jon didnt bring this up but its a thing to consider for 30fps console gaming. 30fps will look more suttery on an oled than an lcd. 30fps on an LCD will look smoother and blurrier but it will look more consistent in motion. Oled is ofc superior in 60fps or above thanks to the instant pixel respone

I don't get the "best TV" concept for a PS5, that console isn't even compatible with Dolby Vision, its bandwith is limited to 32GBps, and its chroma subsampling is 4:2:2. I guess that the best TV for a PS5 can't be a top tier TV. If the hardware already comes limited, then the TV has to be limited too so you don't pay extra for things that you can't make work.

S90C gen 2 panel (lottery but the 77 get the 2 gen 100%) is way better than G2.

@@DJordydj I no think so. the lack of Dolby vision is not a significant disadvantage of the ps5, even in films the difference between hdr10 and DV is not always in favor of the latter. Often there is very little difference between them, but since TV has it, then let it be, I don’t think that the overpayment for this standard is significant and it’s worth focusing on.
