Thank you!! The Rocky Mountains are a stunning part of the world! We built Martyn Ashton up a really nice one. Check out his Instagram - instagram.com/p/CFA0PcLD5yB/
I loved your story, but to add on the "can't do with out batteries" and going further, what about adding solar powered battery back up units to your gear and recharge the batteries. With that technology you you travel far!
interesting trikes would love to see some close ups of the bikes have you thought about a single wheel trailer - you obviously have the fabrication skills to make one keep rolling!
Awesome idea! Check out this bike check or go to our Instagram for more details on the bikes... www.pinkbike.com/news/bike-check-cole-berniers-bowhead-reach-3-wheeled-adaptive-mtb.html?trk=rss
Ok im impressed , I have driven that trans alta road in a car and its a crazy road, hats off to you guys for making it right across devils gap etc that is some rough terrain , and a credit to the design and determination of you guys, A few years back i bumped into you guys out at little elbow trail head and was amazed at the bike you have built. keep up the good work. not sure of the capacity of the batteries etc but are they chargeable from a portable solar panel. whilst camped up they could be on charge which would add some range.
Love seeing the limits of the bike and you guys not being afraid to test them! Very interesting! What's the top speed on of the Bowhead on a flat, even road?
both of you guys are awesome for putting this up !!! Keep the vids coming. Which power motor company would you recommend for similar install? I have been riding my Catrike 559 for the past 4 years and each time its a delight.
Could this work in a quad setup? Just duplicate the front suspension to the back and add lightweight hub motors to each wheel for 4x4 traction? And still have the tilt function? Heck you could even make a pedal or hand crancs connected to a dynamo/tourq sensor for speed controll and use that to just for the training aspect of it.
That could totally work. Great idea. Possibilities are endless. We developed the Bowhead RX since this video came out which has a Crank and the Articulation. It has a Bosch CX E-BIKE MOTOR. Check out some of the other videos on our channel to see it in action. Thanks alot for the feedback - www.bowheadcorp.com/bowhead-rx-bike
21st century, disability is next to nothing against challenges like these, on an electric bike, you 2 are cyborgs, upgraded human beings venturing into the wild that even tons of normal people with fully working limbs won't be able to achieve

This tech bike is the answer for people with disabilities who love nature to complete the 10 miles hike to Havasu Falls. My dream.

How many flats in this journey?
What a coincidence! Glad that you have equipment on your journey! Salud 🥂!
Just one towards the end there. It was an old rear tire with studs for riding in the Snow and one of the studs ripped out on that steep rocky section.
