I love your reviews. I’m 71 w/health and mobility issues. Washing my floors has become an ordeal. Though I manage it more or less with my Vileda Mop Set, it still remains difficut. So this In & Out Mop looked really promising. I was ready to dump my Vileda set when you mentioned the weight of the bucket once filled w/water: 18 lbs! I can hardly hold an empty plate, so imagine that mop set. Now that’s *exactly* why I love your reviews. You really, really put to the test every aspect of the products you review and truly inform us in the process. Thank you for your excellent work.
LOL I love these reviews! They are concise, unemotional, thorough, they compare the TV products with other similar products and they are tested over time. Oddly, I've never purchased one single As Seen on TV item. I just like watching the reviews.
Definitely like this. I have hard floors throughout house bc I have 2 cats and a dog, so lots of mopping. More eco friendly than Swiffer, and you can use your own soap. Why, for the love of God, doesn't the dirty water go straight down into its own chamber, thereby keeping clean water in the first? That would be my desire.
@@Rebeccarochelle22 no it wasn't. You can clearly see in the beginning when he's talking about both that the 'extra' pad is showing the same face as the one on the mop, and they're both different colors, one fully grey, the other white with thin grey strips. Completely different pad.
The Swiffer is probably OK for spot cleaning; however, for a thorough deep cleaning, a proper mop (whether it's the In & Out Mop or a conventional mop) would be better. We have both; however, the conventional mop tends to get used more often, largely because we aren't at all diligent about the daily light mopping that the Swiffer seems best suited for. (We also have one of those Shark steam mops, which gets used more often than the previous two choices, as we don't like to leave chemical cleaners on the floor where our little dog might accidentally ingest a bit while eating food she's dropped on the floor.)
That last part is why I rinse my floors. It just kinda makes more sense to me, whether you have pets and kids or not, to rinse chemicals off rather than leave it to dry and form a film/layer of cleaner that will also transfer to your feet and maybe be absorbed into your body. I mean if you use that disinfectant to clean counters, it says to rinse. Why not do the same with anything else you use it for.
I loved this review. Very well done and it seems like a pretty cool little mop. I’ve tried just about everything. My favorite right now is the bissell crosswave. If vacuums and mops at the same time and I waited so long to get it because I just didn’t see how it could do a good job but boy was I wrong! That thing is amazing and saves my back so much agony. Plus I can get the floors done so quickly since it’s all in one step. But all I have is hardwood floors throughout my house so for someone who has a lot carpet I bet they’d prefer the in and out mop. Thanks for the review James!
Hannah Wiggins if you don’t mind me asking but how long have you had it? And also is it good for pet owners? My dogs shed a lot but I’ve been looking for something for a while I have all hard flooring
Kandi Moore I’ve had it about 4 months now. I’m not sure about pet hair because I have a toy poodle and she doesn’t shed. BUT I have long hair that falls out like crazy and two daughters with long hair and it does a great job for us. The way it works is you take the brush roll that mops the floor off after every use and give a good rinsing. I always have a bunch of hair wraps around it so I just pull it off and throw it away. And there is always a TON of it in the container where all the dirt and dirty water goes. The good thing is if you buy it and keep the receipt and box you can return it if you’re not completely satisfied. I think it would probably do great for pet hair though.
Yes, considering the design it already is using, it would have made a lot more sense to have a triple-slot design, each with its own reservoir, as you said. One side for wet, middle (and thinner, if size is a concern) section for squeezing out the waste water, and the last end would get the waste water squeezed out and drained to it. By the end it would be a bit more balanced, what with the 'fresh' water being depleted somewhat on one end, and the dirty water being placed on the other end. They're obviously intending to recycle the waste water, so it's a somewhat gimmicky design without a three chamber system. I've always felt that mops that use the same water to clean the floor as they do to 'clean' the mop itself is a bit self defeating. Sure, it's more efficient, but it does ultimately spread the filth around, especially the longer you mop. If you're going to have to change the water to a fresh batch anyway, if your project is large enough that the water gets the recycled dirty enough you don't want to keep using it, they might as well make it so you don't reuse the filthy water, and go with a separate reservoir to squeeze out the waste water instead.
I have wood floors and never use a mop because I’m afraid it would get too wet and ruin the floor. So I clean my floor the old fashion way, on my hands and knees. 😩 I think the In and Out Mop might just be the answer. Thanks for a great review!
If the floor takes longer than one minute to dry up at room temperature, you are using too much water. Use soap-based or wax-based floor cleaner liquids depending on your floor finish and you should be good to go.
I use murphy's in the squirt bottle and any type of flat microfiber mop. You can save money by refilling that squirt bottle with regular murphy's cut with 1/3 water. Some people like Method wood squirt and mop. Save your knees.
I clean houses for a living and I would have to change the water out too many times for my preference. I still prefer the old fashion mopping and using the bath tub to keep fresh water running and to rinse the mop head with running water .
I'm trained cleaner, I would take moist mops bag with me and change those when they are dirty, yes you would need more mops, but it is more effiency, no water carried and more cleaner and you don't need carry heavy water buckets. BTW that microfiber mop is too WET! It cannot pick dust and hair, microfiber mop picks more dirt, bacteries, hairs etc. when it is only little bit moist.
Thanks for the "In and Out Mop" review,James! I do believe I'll have to buy one of those! :-) Regardless of what some of the "peanut-gallery" have said (lol),I think that mop does a pretty good job! It's somewhat better than the old, tried & true standard yacht mop because it squeezes out the 'dirty' water, etc., you've just mopped off the floor and you don't have to get your hands wet doing it! Now...as far as using the same soapy water over & over, one does have the option of emptying the bucket and adding new, clean soapy water for each floor you are/may be mopping.Unless you have small children crawling on your floors or you're serving dinner & eating off your floors, changing the water every 5 minutes isn't necessary!! I've been "chief-cook,bottle-washer & the main floor-mopper",in my home, for almost 50 years and for those who are saying that their floors are "sparkling clean" are stretching the truth...just a little!! James...I just discovered your channel 2 days ago and I love ALL your reviews! I'm certainly not one to tell someone what to do - however (lol) - could you have a garage/yard sale and get rid of most of the things that's cluttering your poor garage!? I'm sure there's someone in your neighborhood who have no idea that you're a "product reviewer"...lol!
I think it pretty much had to recycle the water unless you're willing to use several gallons of water just to mop the kitchen, loved the review though and I'm thinking I might me sold, at the very least for the office in my shop.
Towerdog 727 with a Swiffer or this thing yes you are supposed to use several gallons of water for one cleaning as it does not remove the chemicals that you just put on the floor after cleaning the floor it is recommended you rinse your floor twice when using this or a Swiffer
I do like that it has these chambers for washing and drying. The old wringer mops had a bucket with a strainer cup that you twisted the rag mop in. I liked it; it went away (I'm old). I agree that this mop needs a separate chamber for the dirty water to run into. That would be an improvement on the old rag mop system. I also have to point out that this would not be a sensible or functional set up for cleaning up spills. This is for your weekly, whole floor, mopping. That cloth (or a Swiffer) is for cleaning up ketchup and wine ;)
I didn’t read every comment to see if someone mentioned this but if you don’t have a large area to mop it seems like a waste to have to fill the chamber all the way. Say you had to only do your kitchen it seems the swiffer would be a better choice.
I was hoping this would separate the clean water from the dirty water so your Mop will always start each new swipe with clean water. When that is invented, I’m all in.
when do you ever not put the mop/towel into the clean water making it ''dirty'' i doubt that you change the water every single time youve cleaned some parts of the floor
@@MrHANGALABANGALA the point is that having something to help avoid that issue would be really nice. Just because it has been the case that dirty water gets reused doesn't mean it always has to be.
But. You would need to top up the clean water along the way. So why not just continue to use the same soapy water at a more constant volume? Just because it gets discoloured after the first rinse off doesn’t automatically make the entire bucket too filthy to still be used for cleaning
Reminds me of the sponge mop. Compress it to ring it out, reuse the water, no-hands cleaning (as even when the sponge got dirty, the mop had a release system). I still think that system was better than a Swiffer-which I’ve never found to have good enough scrubbing power. So I’d probably like this. It even has the added benefit, unlike a sponge, of being reusable, of being clean each time you start.
I use microfiber cloths on my Swiffer, instead of the pads you can buy for them. The pads are less absorbent, and expensive. The in and out mop looks easier to use that my microfiber cloths, because I have to take those off, rinse, wring, and put back on. Hang them to dry, then toss into the laundry basket. Might keep a separate bucket of clean water to dip the I&O mop in. Ude the dirty water to get most of the crud out, then dip in the clean, use the dry side to wring. It would be easier than what I do now, I think.
Didn’t know where else to ask, but another cleaning product seems apt. Shark has a new pickup/clean for hard floors. Hopefully you’ll be able to rate this one fairly soon?
I just saw this product and I love the idea of it. Cue me going onto Amazon to look for something similar and and there's this brand from Costway that is similar to this but has a separate compartment for the dirty water and has good reviews... but a visual review wouldn't hurt? 👀
excited for the purple mattress review!! I have been holding out getting one of these internet marketed mattresses because I just can't trust the reviews, but I know yours I can! Hope that comes out soon!
This is actually really cool, thought it was gimmicky but it's definitely better than stringy mops, and even Swiffer for reusability... And for me I like controlling the water/cleaning liquid ratio lol. Feels cleaner.
It looks to me like you are supposed to fill the "dry" side with clean water or cleaning solution so you can put clean water back on your floor while the dirty water funnels back into the other side. However, I don't own one of these so I can't be sure this is how it works. Anyway, great review as always!
yes, i'm 6 mins in and I think he's set it up wrong, saying that, I don't own one, I am expecting this mop bucket system to allow you to squeeze dirty water away and not mix it in with the cleaner side.
I have not found the most efficient self rinsing and drying mop. Most of the mops rinse the in the same tank of dirty water. If you spill some sweet drinks on the floor, it is going just spread all the sweet stuff over the house floor. I agree with you about the 3rd chamber. Grab the clean water and dispose filthy stuff into the dirty water chamber. .
@@Trainwheel_Time no mop has ever done that but that doesn't mean it makes it the right way to do it. You're pretty much cleaning your floor with dirt and cleaner if you don't separate the water. Then the dirt and cleaner dries back to the floor.
I have a similar one and I just use it the other way around. I keep the wash side dry and the dry side with water, then all the dirty water drains to the other chamber. But a 3 chamber system would be better.
You have a talent for reviewing products, it's amazing what some people consider a review these days. That bug gun looks awesome though, that's what I'm waiting for!
I think I would love this. My brother and I have a cheap normal "spaghetti hair" mop we got from the dollar store from when we moved out of living with our mom a few years ago, lol. We don't mop much because we end up having to spot mop from spills but that cheap thing hurts to wring out as it has no grip. The plastic, attachable wringer for the bucket will be pushed into the bucket with little effort so you can't wring it out very well. Before we moved out, our mom had a Swifer (and the knockoff Liebman from Walmart) with the removable, washable pads. Those are okay but I hate refilling the bottle or changing the bottle entirely as it doesn't hold much product. I also don't think it gets the floor as wet as I want it for cleaning. The floor always just feels so-so to me and not as clean as with a regular mop. This Hurricane mop allows for using a lot of water for the initial cleaning and dries for getting up the excess afterwards. Yeah...I'd love to get this. Maybe then I'd mop more, lol. So long as I can buy one or two other pads for it and they're all washable, I'd be very satisfied with this. Thank you for the review! I'm finding so many new and useful items from your channel :)
I agree with you on the third chamber, that would make so much sense. If it had the third chamber, I would buy it. So I'll hold off and maybe next year the new and improved version will come out with three chambers.
Your reviews are great. I may be new to you but I do now come to you for all As Seen on TV products. And thanks to you I’m getting Hurricane Fur wizard.
I've seen a couple of reviews for this mop and people complain that the dry chamber just waterfalls dirty water back into the "clean" water. But if you watch closely, that water isn't clean anyway. You have to wash the mop off in the water chamber anyway after using it, so that water already gets dirty. Drying off the mop isn't going to make that water any dirtier than it already is.
These companies should pay you for reviewing their products because if i didn't watch your channel i wouldn't even know about these products+buy them, you give your honest opinion about each of the products you review
I hate the swiffer, of any kind. It just pushes the dirt, thank you for doing this review. I am a stay home Mom, and i am always looking for quick ways to clean better, but i am with you on the changes you would make, the dirty water should have its own spot to empty
Great review. On a side note I have waist-length hair and I shed a lot, and I wish they could make a mop/vacuum/whatever that actually picked up these pet fur/hair tumbleweeds but didn't clog.
Great review, only thing I would of liked to see is after you used the In and out mop, would of went over it with the swiffer (before adding wine) and see how well the in and out cleaned the dirt vs. the swiffer .
Always very happy to see new product reviews before i spend. I saw what looks like a great summer product called the"Zero Breezze" portable air conditioner. Was wondering if you would review anything like that in the near future. Not many reviews out yet on the unit. Thanks again!
Vivian trys had the same suggestion.as you. A clean water, dirty water and dry tank. Hopefully the company will see these reviews and make that for us. Thanks for the video.
I have two bug-a-salt guns and I love them. They are great for flies but not so good for wasps. It does take some practice to get the bug your aiming at and there will be fly offs.
I purchased a similar mopping system to this "Hurricane In and Out Mop." It also has two chambers, but the dirty water does not mix with the clean water.
You can use a microfiber cloth on the swiffer sweeper and mop with it and not have to buy the wet or dry sheets and you can wash it out and use it over and over...that's what I do...Thanks for another great video....
Great review. What I would like to know though is how this mop works on dried on dirt...you know something that you somehow missed after cooking and it dried. The other mop head I think is supposed to be more for "scrubbing", and since my knees aren't what they used to be and I can't get down and scrub anymore...I would really like to see just how clean this product could get a really dirty floor. It's funny but the first thing I thought when I saw this was that it needed three chambers so you could clean off the mop head and then use clean water for the next pass. I guess great minds really DO think alike! lol Thanks again for the great review...I hope that maybe you will consider my request for perhaps an update video!
You should use the mop completely dry for pet hair. I use a microfiber mop for on my entire house dry to get up the hair. Works great, but is a pain to get the hair out. Squeegee seems like it would help quite a bit.
Can you attach that white top part of the bucket so it hangs halfway off so you can empty the dirty water into the dry side? Mabey this is dumb but if you could, you could put a bucket underneath and make it how you described. A three chamber bucket. I think the handles might get in the way though.
I make a few passes with my swiffer wet mop then rinse in sink each time under clean water. Now I use the cross wave machine. But I still can't find anything that cleans my floors. I wear clean white socks afterwards and still my socks look dirty. Thanks for a great review.
Great video. It looks like a good product. I wonder if you could use the dry side for clean water. After I clean with soap, I always go back with just clean water to get off any soap residue. The other side looks like it would be good for that. Does the ringer work if you turn it around? Interesting things to try for your second video later in a few months. I always try to think of other ways to use a product.
You answer all my questions that I was curious about the washing machine but here's one for you what if split the chamber in half without changing the design put a divider where the dirty water goes into
I wish you had done a dried on ketchup clean up. Like when your kid drops his food and you don't realize it until you mop and it dried and hard. Will the in and out mop get that off? Or am I scraping it off by hand?
Maybe with the microfiber pad dry it would get the pet hair better? What about the Hurricane Spin Mop, same company? Are those plug at the bottom to empty the bucket from the bottom?
How do you mop with a regular mop without putting the mop in the "dirty" water unless you are using separate buckets? Any time you mop using one bucket you dip your mop into the dirty water. No different with this.
You should always sweep before you mop or you’ll just push dust and hair around. Use the mop dry to pick up hair before you wet mop to pick up stains. What I do is use a microfiber cloth on my Swiffer and wash it when I’m done, saves me a lot of money and space.
This gave me a great comparison review vs Swiffer, which like you I own and use daily. Have a dog too. Use the Swiffer with Wet & Dry cleaning clothes. Go thru a lot, & by off brand to save money. I have a coupon for Bed, Bath, and Beyond as well. Think I may give a try too, especially when able to wash pads in washer. What about buying replacement pads, is that an easy thing to do? Also, could this be used as a "dry" mop to pickup dog hair, especially before getting it wet to use as "mop"? Gotta ask, since live in Vegas....what is your burger "style" of choice? As Always, a pleasure to watch & great fun vid! Have a great day, Cheers, A👍🏻👍🏻
I like it pretty basic and just go with the standard burger there. And yes it could be used to dry mop but the hair still doesn't seem to stick to it. Thanks for the comment!
Aepek I have a swifter and dog and CAT hair. My swifter NEVER picks up animal hair and it's great for quick cleanups but I prefer a mop and bucket. I'm buying a hurricane Inandout!
Check the news more often if you have a Swiffer you do not want to have children or pets in your house as a Swiffer does not clean chemicals off the floor in anyway it just keeps piling them up on there
Vineyard 480 Thanks for the info, but I dint have aSwiffer Wet Jet, not use one. Have the normal swiffer dry dusting cloths for floors & buy great value brand wet floor cloths to use on dimple spills & messes. When actually clean my house use good old fashion mop and bucket to"mop" everything, or the Kirby vacuum shampoo system, yes, this works on any type of floors(not just carpet) with correct brush roller. Again, THANKS for the info, as was interesting to learn & don't ever but swiffer wet jet mop system. Cheers, A
I use a swifter also, but when you really need to clean you need to go through more pads. But as you say, you don't need to worry about water... But I am interested.
Exactly what I was thinking - it needs a 3rd section for dirty water. And the price is a bit high. I have the Hurricaine spin mop & it's pretty good, except for sticky kitchen stains. This mop might be better for a kitchen floor.
What if u put clean water in the other empty section? Is it possible to use it that way so it’s always the clean water with floor cleaner that goes onto actual floor?
Hi James. I watched and, enjoyed this review. It has plugs to drain the water; one on bottom of each chamber. Love your reviews and also watch a couple other reviewers on here. I love your Bailey moments.
I prefer these products that reuses durable cleaning accessories, like the rags. Purchasing swiff mop towlets is a massive burn on the wallet, plus all that goes to the dump. Probably the ringing of the towel in the In & Out mop takes out all the debris particles, so you're using a cleaned rag. How clean it stays depends on how clean you keep the water/how soiled your floors are. Overall, I think it's superior to the swiffer and would be something I could use
I’m waiting for mine but the clean-to-dirty water setup is disheartening. We have an old kitty who sometimes misses her litter box and I don’t want to be mopping my floor with water mixed with urine. We’ll see how it does but I’m already wondering if it’s going to go right back to the company.
I'm sure if the padding is completely dry, it will pick the hair up. If you used a standard mop and bucket, you would sweep the floor first before mopping it. I like the product.
Have you compared the in and out mop to the vileda easy wring system? That would be a more apples to apples comparison I think. I have the vileda and love it though I can see how some features in the hurricane mop work a bit better.
Yea so far id like the fact that the dirty water goes back in the clean water, When you 1st started i thought when you squeeze the mop out on the dry side it would go back in the empty side & the clean water would stay clean. So maybe the co will go back hopefully & revise it 2 do that. So i would like 2 know is it any better than the spin mop?
I would actually enjoy having a product like this, but I agree that it needs three chambers instead of two. Eventually, you may be mopping your floors with dirty water. I like that it's a microfiber pad, so as long as the back of it holds up and continues to stick to the velcro, you can use it indefinitely. It's just another product that should last a long time as long as you take care of it.
1. Cut rags out of towels 2. Put them on a Swiffer 3. Swap them out as you clean 4. Wash rags 5. Repeat. That's how I mop, and it's very tidy! No reusing nasty water, and good for the environment! This seems like that, but more work.

Shhhhhhhh! Don't give away their company SECRETS!!
Oh and inside the in n out restaurant
But...The mop had a replacement pad, it looked COMPLETELY different, Maybe that is for hair? Did you try the replacement pad?
I was thinking the same thing when he started with the pet hair... That maybe the OTHER pad was for the hair.
Kellie Brown it was just the back side of the replacement pad
I agree with the 3rd chamber suggestion for clean water
I looked back when he pulled back the pad on there already and it does not look like the extra one ..I think it's another kind fir picking up hair
@@Rebeccarochelle22 no it wasn't. You can clearly see in the beginning when he's talking about both that the 'extra' pad is showing the same face as the one on the mop, and they're both different colors, one fully grey, the other white with thin grey strips. Completely different pad.

Vineyard 480 Why would you have to rinse it after this? It's not like doing dishes you don't have to rinse off the soa
@@kaylaa8092 because the chemicals from the cleaning solutions could be bad for your skin or in general health speaking here.
@@MrMega200 They are made to stay on the floor what waste of water to wash and then rinse your floors.
Great informative and entertaining review like always. Very much looking forward to the review of the purple mattress and that bug gun this summer.
That's a slick piece of editing using the In and Out logo with the mop at the beginning.
I bought the hurricane spin scrubber after watching your review. I love it. Use it all the time.
That's a good point. You could buy 2 and use one of them with clean water and one for the dirty water
@Naty polanco Brilliant!
You go beyond opening a box. I love that you go beyond and check out real life concerns. Great channel.
Didn’t know where else to ask, but another cleaning product seems apt. Shark has a new pickup/clean for hard floors. Hopefully you’ll be able to rate this one fairly soon?
Who needs a mop when you have a mop and vacuum in one named bailey
I just saw this product and I love the idea of it. Cue me going onto Amazon to look for something similar and and there's this brand from Costway that is similar to this but has a separate compartment for the dirty water and has good reviews... but a visual review wouldn't hurt? 👀
The music at the start was really cool. You need to do that more often.
excited for the purple mattress review!!
Anyway, great review as always!
yes, i'm 6 mins in and I think he's set it up wrong, saying that, I don't own one, I am expecting this mop bucket system to allow you to squeeze dirty water away and not mix it in with the cleaner side.
love the alignment tabs on the pad. Have a similar mop without the bucket and the pad can be put on crooked by mistake.
I have not found the most efficient self rinsing and drying mop. Most of the mops rinse the in the same tank of dirty water. If you spill some sweet drinks on the floor, it is going just spread all the sweet stuff over the house floor. I agree with you about the 3rd chamber. Grab the clean water and dispose filthy stuff into the dirty water chamber. .
Most definitely needs to have the dirty water drain to its own chamber. ...
Man Card Exactly my thought.
Why? What other mop has ever done that?
@@Trainwheel_Time So you dont mop poop water around your floor?
@@Trainwheel_Time no mop has ever done that but that doesn't mean it makes it the right way to do it. You're pretty much cleaning your floor with dirt and cleaner if you don't separate the water. Then the dirt and cleaner dries back to the floor.
I have a similar one and I just use it the other way around. I keep the wash side dry and the dry side with water, then all the dirty water drains to the other chamber. But a 3 chamber system would be better.
I think that’s a pretty cool mop I would use that..👍 hope you had a blessed day James. I would agree with you about adding a 3rd chamber.
The problem is that they don't want an HONEST review, they want a CONVINCING one!
@@Freakinreviews that's true but I feel that honest is much better for business
I hate the swiffer, of any kind. It just pushes the dirt, thank you for doing this review. I am a stay home Mom, and i am always looking for quick ways to clean better, but i am with you on the changes you would make, the dirty water should have its own spot to empty
Great review. On a side note I have waist-length hair and I shed a lot, and I wish they could make a mop/vacuum/whatever that actually picked up these pet fur/hair tumbleweeds but didn't clog.
Mine doesn't pick up hair of dirt just pushes them around. I pick up the mess with tissue.
Did it leave streaks on your shinny tile? That’s my biggest concern.
I think the main pro over the swiffer is you don’t have to pay for more pads. Water is cheap or free depending on where you are.
Hoover floormate is where it's at for any hard floor especially tile, it does a great job keeping the grout clean
John Knight III have you tried the bissell crosswave? I had the Hoover and then got the crosswave and love it so much better.
Only thing I dislike about the swiffer is the sticky residue that is left on the floors.
You can use a microfiber cloth on the swiffer sweeper and mop with it and not have to buy the wet or dry sheets and you can wash it out and use it over and over...that's what I do...Thanks for another great video....
Three narrower chambers would also make the FILLED bucket lighter, since there’d be less water in the “clean water” chamber. Great idea!
Did you ever get around to making a review of that big a salt? I couldn't find it
Agree about the third chamber so clean and dirty water doesn’t mix. The real downside is wrangling a bucket. Try doing that with arthritis.
I make a few passes with my swiffer wet mop then rinse in sink each time under clean water. Now I use the cross wave machine. But I still can't find anything that cleans my floors. I wear clean white socks afterwards and still my socks look dirty. Thanks for a great review.
my question would be after how long fiber pads start to fall off. velcro does not work forever.
I was thinking the same thing. Who mops with 2 buckets?
Have you tried placing nano towel or microfiber cloth in the swiffer holes for dog hair. It would be a dry mop
Dont forget the “Hurry Cane”
couldn't you add water to the dry side to rinse? Just wondering
You should always sweep before you mop or you’ll just push dust and hair around. Use the mop dry to pick up hair before you wet mop to pick up stains. What I do is use a microfiber cloth on my Swiffer and wash it when I’m done, saves me a lot of money and space.
Yes!👍 cleaning products reviews! Love it⭐🌠
This gave me a great comparison review vs Swiffer, which like you I own and use daily.
Cheers, A
Im curious, can you fill the dry side with clean water. So it gets wet with cleaner water and the dirty water gets pushed into the other side.
I use a swifter also, but when you really need to clean you need to go through more pads. But as you say, you don't need to worry about water... But I am interested.
just saw a commercial for 'Mighty Thirsty Mop' and i would really like your honest review and testing of it
thanks
I like that the Velcro pad can be washed rather than all the Swiffer pads that go into a landfill.
That’s always my first thought. I don’t want to put mop back into dirty water. Defeats the purpose..
Exactly what I was thinking - it needs a 3rd section for dirty water. And the price is a bit high. I have the Hurricaine spin mop & it's pretty good, except for sticky kitchen stains. This mop might be better for a kitchen floor.
I have a bissel crosswave. Have you considered reviewing that ?
What if u put clean water in the other empty section? Is it possible to use it that way so it’s always the clean water with floor cleaner that goes onto actual floor?
Hi James. I watched and, enjoyed this review. It has plugs to drain the water; one on bottom of each chamber. Love your reviews and also watch a couple other reviewers on here. I love your Bailey moments.
I’ve been wondering about this mop for awhile!
did the in and out mop as seen on tv work good james white
Did having dirty water in the bucket, make a difference?
Curious about longetivity. Are there replacement pads?
If you had a third chamber also with water in, surely it would all overflow when all of that will be drained into the cleaning water?
Does it clean dirt on the floor from coming outside when tracking inside?
I'm sure if the padding is completely dry, it will pick the hair up. If you used a standard mop and bucket, you would sweep the floor first before mopping it. I like the product.
Did you review the bug gun?
What happens when you put clean water in the dry chamber?
Have you compared the in and out mop to the vileda easy wring system? That would be a more apples to apples comparison I think. I have the vileda and love it though I can see how some features in the hurricane mop work a bit better.
I love my swiffer mop.. seems to have a chemical that helps it dry fast. Also makes floor shiny, and somthing to make floor smell nice too.
Can't you put clean water in the dry side and have clean water after you wash in the wash side?
Great view I definitely look get it for my mom..
Great review James. That’s a pretty cool mop! Thank you
How do you like those Reebok's?
I would actually enjoy having a product like this, but I agree that it needs three chambers instead of two. Eventually, you may be mopping your floors with dirty water. I like that it's a microfiber pad, so as long as the back of it holds up and continues to stick to the velcro, you can use it indefinitely. It's just another product that should last a long time as long as you take care of it.
How much are replacement mop heads? And how long do the heads last?
Good question. The pads are supposed to last "years" and I didn't see any way to order a replacement. Hopefully, they do offer that down the road.
You might find them at Walmart were they sell the Seen On Tv Products.
I have a mop that uses similar "mop heads" and I've literally been using the same one for 15 years
1. Cut rags out of towels 2. Put them on a Swiffer 3. Swap them out as you clean 4. Wash rags 5. Repeat. That's how I mop, and it's very tidy! No reusing nasty water, and good for the environment! This seems like that, but more work.
