If you want sheet music for this tune i added it to my sheet music library for free download for your own pleasure. I hope William would like the idea of people learning his music all these years later charlieabel.com/piece/mrs-h-l-macdonald-of-dunach/
There is another P.M. Lawrie, he is Angus Lawrie from Oban.Related? I have got a 6/8 tune from Angus under the title of" P.M. Tom Grant"Rarely played.I heard it 2006 from the Gordon Shand Band.A very recommendable tune!
There's quite a bit of info here boxandfiddlearchive.weebly.com/willie-lawrie.html. Quite a musical family, not sure if there's an Angus Lawrie mentioned but could well be a close relative.
This tune is particularly well placed given its origins and history to be called Defeat of the Covid , it is so inspiring, very well played. Where would we be without music and fantastic musicians like you .
