Great information, Janek! I especially appreciate learning about the differences between analog and DSP bypass modes and why you'd choose one over the other.
The volume tip is super valuable for me. Thank you! The biggest issue I have with the hx stomp is controlling the levels between presets and with other pedals on my board.
I noticed you often talk about where to place the stomp in the signal chain. Have you tried the 4 cable method? It could add a whole lot of flexibility when organising your signal chain.
I'm looking for a one-pedal solution for adding some effects. The rest of my board is analogue. I wonder if this is the pedal or the cheaper Zoom 60B+.

depends, what effects? If anything, HX Stomp really is THE pedal. The FX loop is great, I have my envelope filter in it, so I can easily swap its position in the chain. Also the poly pitch algos are the best (former Digitech team that worked on Whammy V and the like). Then again, it's like what, four times the price. In that case, it depends on what effects you'd want.
I used to have a Zoom B3n, which looks like the bigger brother of the pedal you're looking at. I liked it quite a bit, and I found that the effects were like 80% convincing (subjectively speaking). It worked fairly well for overdrives. I sold that and got an HX Stomp, which feels closer to 90-95% convincing and usable in a live setting (again subjectively speaking). I actually really like the sound of the HX Stomp octave and delays.

Simple but Essential Tips - Thanks!
It really can’t be overstated how incredibly useful the HX stomp is!
Cool video Janek, thanks as always. I love my Stomp, such a functional unit in a cool form factor
These are awesome tips. I always look forward to learning something new from you. You should write a book on maneuvering the Stomp
more of this PLEASE!!! fantastic vid!!!
These quick hx stomp videos are very interesting and helpful as a relatively new stomp user (and happy purchaser of the first stomp preset pack)

Worth watching for tip #1 alone!!!
That's bitten me too often to count 😂
Amazing tips. Thank you!
That was an outstanding vid man. Plz do some more stomp vids …. Subbed
That bypass assign to FS3 is gold, can’t believe I didn’t know about that.
Dude, thanks for that master volume tip! 🎧

3:20 Jo, very nice - thanks a lot! 🤩
HX Stomp content is always welcome!

If you want to get rid of FS3 TAP/TUNER you can still access your tuner with your fingers and hit ACTION+PAGE>
Between you and Ian over at ScottsBassLessons, I'm now 100% convinced I need the HX Stomp. Now what gear can I sell to afford one...?

double up for octaves and delays!
I would not want to lose the funtionality of the volume knob. I adjust that baby quite a bit.
