My son is just about 3 months now and I'm so tired of the mom critics! Thank you for what you said about mother's instincts! I think you're a great mom
He's such a lovely baby, absolutely gorgeous. I allowed my second babe to sleep on her stomach as well, she preferred it and slept SO much better. We also used an angel care monitor, it put all my fears to rest, and kept us all happy! I hope you guys enjoy your trip!!! I'm looking so forward to ours. Living in Canada, we have some major cold to escape from 😬 lol.
My children are 30 26 and 22 and they wanted me to put my kids on their back and I did not and they slept wonderfully. I nursed all 3 like you and I never worried ( they didn't have the type of monitors you have back then) My Mom said that unless there is something wrong with a child it will always move its head to breath (even if it throws up) So I applaud you for using your good mothering sense and not just do what they say because others say it. Initially, I thought your youngest looked mostly like your oldest...but idk he has changed a lot. He is gorgeous and who would love those blue eyes and amazing smile. God Bless
I love watching these videos. I watched them when I was pregnant and now my baby is 10 weeks I'm rewatching to see what I can expect soon!! I'm glad you said he's in his own room. Noah is really tall and I'm sure he's going to outgrow his Moses basket in the next month and so many people telling me off saying he's too young.... so thank you.
I love your vlogs! I have a little boy that is about one week younger than Jackson and as a first time mum your videos have been so incredibly helpful. I know you have talked about how you put him to sleep quite a bit already but I would be super grateful if you would show us exactly how you lay him down for naps and bed. His sleep routine vs. his nap routine and what drowsy but awake actually looks like for him. He is beautiful and so adorable chit chatting away!
I have learned soooo many things from you. I took both your tips- advice and your kind of approacing situations. Since i started to teach my baby to sleep on his front his sleeping habits improved significantly. Keep up on telling us your approach regardless of the hate. Everyone should be mature enough to filter the info and keep what they agree with. I watch religiously your vidros even if months later i come back and rewatch them when my baby gets to a specific stage. My baby is now 4 months. I also wanted to put it out here that when i was about to give birth and even after i found so much encouragement and "solutions" to my crazy firstime mom situations... I have 3 moms that i look up to in terms of parenting and you are one of them. Wishing you the best!
I LOVE you saying "I know my baby" it is something I wish I said to so many mums who have tried to lecture me on what not to do. Sadly I feel as I first time mum I have no right to speak up when someone talks down to me. Thank you so much Emily. Your videos always give me a bit more confidence. :)
Both my kids sleep on their tummy as well and with blankets. I think it just depends on the baby and us as a parent to always stay alert and let them sleep the way they are comfortable with. Loving your upload ❤
Ah this was lovely. Jackson is adorable, he's quite the little chatter box. I've always loved when Jackson smiles, because it's his whole face that smiles, his eyes sparkle 😘❤️ xxxx
As a first time mum I have been following things by the book and my son will be 4 months soon but you are totally right about mothers instinct. I have been bit more flexible with all these guidelines that there are and it has been helping a lot.
Great video Emily. I kept being told by everyone not to allow my baby son to sleep on his tummy but he is absolutely fine and hates sleeping on his back. He is now 8 months old and continues to sleep on his front. Hope you have such a wonderful holiday! Xx
love your confidence in saying "I know what's best for Jackson" Mother's instinct is amazing and so real and also well done for exclusively bf'ing too. From a fellow Mummy of 3.x
Emily, Jackson is just gorgeous! And always sooooo happy! Both my daughters, who are now 8 and almost 10 years old, slept on their tummies from about a week old. Everyone told me not too but I ALWAYS followed my instincts and just knew it was best for my babies. Neither slept well on their backs. Both were fully breastfed and both slept through from 10pm to 7am at age 3.5weeks and 5 weeks old! Have a wonderful holiday! xx
OMG that is amazing! I just know he's comfy on his front and strong enough to lift his head if he needs to. Totally know what you mean about instincts xx
I started putting my son on his tummy to sleep at two weeks old and it made a huge difference, he didn't settle at all on his back and he still sleeps on his tummy 9 years later lol. Like you say, mums know best :). Jackson is beautiful. Can't believe he's four months already! x
Hi Emily, My name is Omnya, Im 31 weeks now and i watched almost all your pregnancy videos until Baby Jackson is 4 months old and i would like to thank you soooo much as you've helped me understand a lot of things that was going through my head. You calmed my nerves as i was worried.
I'm sure after breastfeeding three boys you know all the tricks but I always found that wearing a vest and another top over was far easier than feeding with a blanket or muslin. I just used to pull the outer top up and the under vest down and it sort of made a small opening for baby to feed without them being able to rip the cover down and it drew way less attention to me (I felt really conscious feeding in public). 👏well done to you too as Jackson is gorgeous and putting on weight so well! such an amazing feeling when you see them putting on weight and it's all down to you! x
I love this little guy, he is so sweet. I hope you guys have a great time on your holiday! Also, good for you standing your ground and making it known that you make the decisions for your child. I got such a hard time for not flipping my son to his back when he slept, Like you when I did he just wouldn't sleep well. You know your child and what's best for them! High five Mama! As always, lovely job. xoxoxo
I can't believe he is 4 months! He's so sweet! He is looking so much like Caleb. There is a lot to say about mothers instinct, I totally agree! Wow, so soon to get your monthlies back, bummer! I missed a lot of your Christmas videos because we were so busy :( glad everything went well with his immunisations :) Great video x
All for mothers instinct. My mum slept me and my sister on our fronts and Ive slept my 3 mo on his front since about 5 weeks and it is what works best for us too xx
People got upset when they saw my daughter slept on her front with a blanket. obviously you know, just do what you feel is best. I did and my now 1 year old is happy, healthy, and amazing. you're doing great! Your boy is so handsome!
Hi! Thx for sharing about tummy sleeping. I'll be a 1st time mommy in June and everything has said back sleeping is best...I appreciate you "giving" me permission to follow my instinct and do what's best for my little one! xoxo
im a first time mum too and everyone told us sleeping on the tummy is dangerous and not recommended. then I gave birth at the hospital, we asked how we should sleep and they said "as you want", even on the tummy. I was so surprised. He is 3 months old now and sleeps on his tummy every night. he loves it :) all the best for you!
Thank you for posting such happy videos!! You are a great mom and soo many of your tips have come in handy for me and my 3 month old baby boy. That little Jackson is too cute, what a little ray of sunshine!! Keep up the great work!
I love watching your videos and look forward to them every week! I find you are so relatable and I am from Canada so it's so nice to see a Canadian mom being successful on TH-cam :) Im actually expecting my first child in July 2017 and have been loving following your weekly update videos throughout my pregnancy. I just wanted to know how you motivate yourself to get ready every morning and not just throwing your hair up and wearing sweats? I've been working from home for a few months now and i am really struggling to get ready in the morning, I'm afraid it will only get worst with the time. I really appreciate any input or tips you might have!
Awwwww, I almost miss Jackson if I dont watch your videos every other day. kkk. sooo lovely. I have 2 months old girl aswell. Tnx soooo much for sharing your experiences, I get lot of guidance.
Hi there, I love your videos. Can you please send me the link to the video of you traveling to Canada. I am travelling with my 4 month daughter next week and I would be I interested to find out how you handled the flight.
I'm a second time Mom and my baby boy 16 weeks today can roll from back to front and front to back so I feel very comfortable with putting him in whatever way he wants to sleep. Sometimes he likes to lay on his side so I allow him to. And if he dies have a blanket on it's either right under his shoulders ion his stomach and under he elbows because he is at the grabbing age. Ialsk had a premie who slept on his stomach as early as two months due to super bad reflux. He's 19 months and perfectly fine. And I co sleep with my boys do I will roll over and touch his back and make sure he's alright and then go back to sleep.
Gummee glove ordered thank you so much!! My girl is three weeks younger than Jackson and her hand gets chewed constantly! Jackson's just a joy to watch thank you for sharing xx Ps. Thanks also for sharing about your period, I'm now prepared!! :)
Can you show us how you put him to sleep on his tummy? I also think My 2.5 month old son would sleep much better on his front but don't know how to put him like that and wrap him up please please please!
Eek I am scared to as every baby is different and I'd hate to advise as midwives recommend you dont put them on their front - but mayne you could talk to your GP or midwife? xx
I love your helpful tips!! Thank you so much for sharing!! My son is 2 weeks younger than Jackson, so this is very helpful. I had one question. Does he sleeps on his own for naps and bedtime? If so, what are your methods? My son use breastfeeding as a soother, in order for him to sleep. One more question I have a 2 year 4 month old son also, do you put all the boys down at 7pm for bedtime too?
Jackson is so cute! My youngest slept on her tummy too, and she just slept so much better this way. I do wonder if my others would've slept better if I put them on their tummies too, but like you I was more by the book!
Totally! My eldest was a terrible sleeper on his back but I stuck with it because thats what the midwives said to do and then as soon as he could roll at 5 months he rolled onto his front and still sleeps that way now!!! ha. I should gone with my instinct xx
This is wild . This is the first video I’ve seen from you . I also have a 4 month old baby (born Sept 2) . His name was going to be Jackson but we decided on Jameson instead. My boy is tall , teething , loves his jumper and we have the exact same play mat . Lol ! I’ll definitely be watching more to see if the similarities continue.
I literally cannot believe he is 4 months old now....I cannot believe I'm going to be filming a 1 YEAR update soon ahhhhhhhhh 😰 haha Jackson is amazing for sleep! Xxx
Lovely vid. Both mine were on their tummies by 5 days old after only sleeping on our chest until then! We have the sensor pad too! Also they were in their own rooms early as that was worked for us. Both Jake and Lexi had 2bottom teeth at 12 weeks and Lexi now has 12 and she's not 1 until the 31st!!! Jackson seems so content and happy, well done you! Xxx
I'm with you on the hunger. I can be fine during the day because I'm busy and occupied but come evening I want alllll the sugar! At least you had a year or so without periods, nice break. Jackson is developing wonderfully. Freyja is also a tummy sleeper. I had to tell a white lie when the mw insisted on back sleeping, but the monitor provides peace of mind too xx
Hey sorry didn't the name of the products u mentioned for teething pain could u please let me know. My son is teething as well and I don't know what do use???
I can't get over how gorgeous he is, all your boys are lovely 😊 I love these updates as well ❤ Jackson is the cutest baby though, also you're an amazing mum, don't get why people are worrying about him sleeping on his front if he's comfy I don't see the problem 😊 xxx
I'm due with my first in mid-March (I have a little foot in my rib right now, actually!) and I love your videos! All your boys are so beautiful and sweet, and you actually inspired me to look into hypnobirthing -- I start my classes next week! I hope you all have a great trip, can't wait for the vlogs!
Oh that's so wonderful to hear! My spine is fused and I have a bleeding disorder so when I got pregnant my doctors encouraged me to consider having an unmedicated birth. I was so afraid! But then I saw the video of Jackson's home birth and that completely sold me on hypnobirthing and delivering without an epidural. Now I'm so excited!
Jackson is an absolutely a beautiful baby. such a lucky mum to have those three beautiful boys. hopefully when I have another one he/she is just like him. such a cutie. well done you and I love it when you sit down and talk to us. makes me feel like I'm listening to a friend. xxx
Awe Jackson is so cute! Emily you seem like a great mum :) Good luck with the flight, I've done flights from Canada to Australia a few times and I found it always to be easier when they were little too
Oh my gosh, he really does look alot like you and he's grown so much since I last watched a vid! :) Seems like literally yesterday I was watching your live birth video! Good on you with being instinctive about tummy sleeping. All babies are individuals and it works so well for some bubbas! I'm a first time mum and I instinctively started giving my baby supervised tummy sleeping a couple of weeks ago, I was very wary at first, but as it turns out it works very well for him, he loves it and turns his head multiple times, he's now 6 weeks and sleeps 6 hrs this way. So each to their own, what works for one baby may not work for others and you've got to go with instincts ! ;D Keep up the great work mama, I love to see little Jackson's journey xx
Hi Emily, I know this was ages ago for you, but I was wondering, did Jackson not go through tge 4th month sleep regression? It was hell with my first one at 4 months and now my second one just entered the 4th month sleep regression and it is super tough.
awww! hey little pumpkin!!! i love your vids! i was wondering, did you upgrade to a bigger sleepyhead/dockatot? it looked so big in his crib. just curious FTM about to start ordering baby things :)
He's so lush! Can't believe he's 4 months! Our little man is 10 weeks now! Where is his little blanket from with the tepees on the mint colour one :) xxx
How long was he at 4 months? my son is 4 months now and the Dr says he is kinda petite but I think it's cause he was born at 38 weeks but he is growing and chuncky
Jackson is so cute. Such a good baby, it's always nice to see the updates. My 8 month old gets up every 2 hours at night. Don't know when that will stop :( Enjoy your holiday!
Aww, so glad Jackson is doing well! He's a lovely little guy and looks so like his brothers! It's lovely how they are all so close, and how the older two look out for their baby bro ;) hope you have a wonderful holiday xx
omg he is 4 months already he has grown so much! my mum has only 2 weeks until my second sibling is born, time flieessss , love ur videos and I hope u know that ur an amazing mother and dont let anybody put u down.and btw she bought the same onezie Jackson is wearing in this video from next I think.anyway love u xx
My son is just about 3 months now and I'm so tired of the mom critics! Thank you for what you said about mother's instincts! I think you're a great mom

The thumbnail is just too much! 😩💕 good on you saying how you know Jackson best! Have a fabulous holiday xxx
As a third time Mom I agree about mommy instinct! You know your baby!
Totally trust myself now :-) xx
He is such a beautiful little guy and those eyes are to die for! Such a sweet baby!
Aw I agree - thank you :-) xx
I love watching these videos. I watched them when I was pregnant and now my baby is 10 weeks I'm rewatching to see what I can expect soon!! I'm glad you said he's in his own room. Noah is really tall and I'm sure he's going to outgrow his Moses basket in the next month and so many people telling me off saying he's too young.... so thank you.
I too put my son on his front to sleep.. as he won't go to sleep otherwise. Good on you for standing your ground!!

Dear Emily, I used to watch your baby updates with my first baby, and now I am watching them again with my second! How little is baby Jackson here 💜😍
my baby sleeps on her front too! I've always been scared of telling people cos they are so opinionated!
Kate & the Twins me as well
My son sleeps on his stomach. He has been since he was 2 weeks old! I understand completely. You know what's best for your little one!
Ah this was lovely. Jackson is adorable, he's quite the little chatter box. I've always loved when Jackson smiles, because it's his whole face that smiles, his eyes sparkle 😘❤️ xxxx

When Jackson is looking forward at the camera he looks so much like Caleb! He is so beautiful 💙
Aw what a cutie! Thanks for watching Kirsty xx
love your confidence in saying "I know what's best for Jackson" Mother's instinct is amazing and so real and also well done for exclusively bf'ing too. From a fellow Mummy of 3.x
I think I'm finally confident on baby 3 :-) I wasn't;t so much with my first xx
Your little family makes me so excited to start my own. you're an incredible mother 💗
Thank you so much - you're too kind xx

Exactly - I got a little hate but I know he isn't comfortable on his back and that he is strong enough to lift his head etc. xx
Hi Emily,
My name is Omnya, Im 31 weeks now and i watched almost all your pregnancy videos until Baby Jackson is 4 months old and i would like to thank you soooo much as you've helped me understand a lot of things that was going through my head. You calmed my nerves as i was worried.
+Omneia Ahmad aw thank you so much so glad you found them helpful! Congratulations xx
👏well done to you too as Jackson is gorgeous and putting on weight so well! such an amazing feeling when you see them putting on weight and it's all down to you! x
Emma Chapman that's the best way I found to breastfeed too :) I never really liked trying to put anything over them.
Emma West it's much easier. Nobody ever realised what I was doing x
Lovely Emily. Also, mum does know best! You're amazing 🙌
As always, lovely job.
xoxoxo
Jackson is such a gorgeous baby ,can't wait for holiday vlogs xx
I can't believe he is 4 months! He's so sweet! He is looking so much like Caleb. There is a lot to say about mothers instinct, I totally agree! Wow, so soon to get your monthlies back, bummer!
I missed a lot of your Christmas videos because we were so busy :( glad everything went well with his immunisations :)
Great video x
All for mothers instinct. My mum slept me and my sister on our fronts and Ive slept my 3 mo on his front since about 5 weeks and it is what works best for us too xx
Sorry i have a doubt . When u say 4 months old or 5 months old etc… is it the start of 4 th month?? Or the end of 4th month???
People got upset when they saw my daughter slept on her front with a blanket. obviously you know, just do what you feel is best. I did and my now 1 year old is happy, healthy, and amazing. you're doing great! Your boy is so handsome!
Hi! Thx for sharing about tummy sleeping. I'll be a 1st time mommy in June and everything has said back sleeping is best...I appreciate you "giving" me permission to follow my instinct and do what's best for my little one! xoxo

shanyaraleonie sleeping on tummy is such a great tip indeed!!
My baby also loves sleeping on his tummy! 😍
I let my first sleep the same way, on her tummy. Every baby is different!!! She was on a pillow ever early too.
OMG Jackson is so old now he is such a happy baby and your such a wonderful mum.
I know Lucy and I can't believe it xx
Thank you for posting such happy videos!! You are a great mom and soo many of your tips have come in handy for me and my 3 month old baby boy. That little Jackson is too cute, what a little ray of sunshine!! Keep up the great work!

Hi there, I love your videos. Can you please send me the link to the video of you traveling to Canada. I am travelling with my 4 month daughter next week and I would be I interested to find out how you handled the flight.
He's such a cheerful little man! A wedge is such a good idea for tummy time. Have a wonderful holiday xx
Thanks so much Deborah - he really likes it whereas my other boys hated tummy time xx

Great video, my baby is also at the 91st percentile and everything mentioned is exactly him.
Lucky you! My little one doesnt sleep longer than 3h at a time.. He also hates being on his belly. Apart from that he is my dream baby!! 🥰🥰
So cute! I love seeing these updates, I'm 15 weeks so getting lots of good ideas/advice 😁 xx
My cousin has that jumpy thing and she absolutely loves it aswell! Jackson is soo big now x
It is great! Thanks so much for watching lovely! xx
I love your helpful tips!! Thank you so much for sharing!! My son is 2 weeks younger than Jackson, so this is very helpful. I had one question. Does he sleeps on his own for naps and bedtime? This is wild . This is the first video I’ve seen from you . I also have a 4 month old baby (born Sept 2) . His name was going to be Jackson but we decided on Jameson instead. Great video Emily! My little one is verrry long too, not sure where she gets it?! My matt and I are both shorties haha!
Hello Emily, I have a question, when Jackson slept on his front, how do you place his two arms? And how does Jackson sleep now?
I literally cannot believe he is 4 months old now....I cannot believe I'm going to be filming a 1 YEAR update soon ahhhhhhhhh 😰 haha Jackson is amazing for sleep! Xxx
I love your vlogs! My little boy is 4 months and I've been wondering about getting the teething glove, how did you find it? Thank you in advance!

Jackson seems so content and happy, well done you! Xxx
Aw glad its not just me! I know he's so much comfier on his front xx
What type of work out did you do to go back to your weight? Can make a video on it please
I'm with you on the hunger. I can be fine during the day because I'm busy and occupied but come evening I want alllll the sugar!
At least you had a year or so without periods, nice break.
Jackson is developing wonderfully. Freyja is also a tummy sleeper. I had to tell a white lie when the mw insisted on back sleeping, but the monitor provides peace of mind too xx
looooove your confidence in your mothering skills!!
never question a mothers instinct!! love your vlogs xx
I agree :-) Thanks so much for watching lovely! xx
Hey sorry didn't the name of the products u mentioned for teething pain could u please let me know. My son is teething as well and I don't know what do use???
can you do a video on how you wash your baby's soft toys?
He is sooo stunning!! Beautiful family xxx
Thank you so much xx
I can't get over how gorgeous he is, all your boys are lovely 😊 I love these updates as well ❤ Jackson is the cutest baby though, also you're an amazing mum, don't get why people are worrying about him sleeping on his front if he's comfy I don't see the problem 😊 xxx
Thanks so much! I know I would never put him on his front if I thought he was in danger xx
OMG I really did well with hypnobirthing! I used to listen to it while falling asleep every night and I think it made a difference xx
Jackson is an absolutely a beautiful baby. such a lucky mum to have those three beautiful boys. hopefully when I have another one he/she is just like him. such a cutie. well done you and I love it when you sit down and talk to us. makes me feel like I'm listening to a friend. xxx
I know ha ha atleast one of them like to chat to me :-) xx
Awe Jackson is so cute! Emily you seem like a great mum :) Good luck with the flight, I've done flights from Canada to Australia a few times and I found it always to be easier when they were little too
+Brodie Couch thanknyou so much x
Petar grašo
Ps I love the idea of using that wedge in tummy time! Great for digestion if they were on their back too
He is such a cutie!x
Thanks so much for watching lovely! xx
+crysberries yes I got the grand now. As he's on his front his little hands were squished under him xx
He's so lush! Can't believe he's 4 months! Our little man is 10 weeks now! Where is his little blanket from with the tepees on the mint colour one :) xxx
Also where is the wedge from cause I feel like our little man would love that as he has reflux and hates being flat xx
How did the glove work? Did he like it or chew on it?
