- A good early start today to head up here to Crianlarich and parking in the layby just off the A82 about 4km south of Crianlarich
From the layby we're heading towards the underpass beneath the railway line and up the track to the bridge that takes us over the river Falloch and onwards to our prize, and what a prize it would prove to be.
These are truly a stunning couple of mountains and any effort getting on them, which you will need to give, is rewarded with a day out and views that you will never forget.
An Caisteal and Beinn A Chroine will throw different challenges at you, a lot of them involving rock! If you are looking to develop your ability to climb more exposed places this this would be a great starting point and will build your confidence.
