- In this video, you get to tag along with me as I go for a day of ski touring with my friends Markus and Andri. We have a blast skiing the two lovely mountains, Piz Nair, with its variety of Couloirs the fun face of Piz Tagliola. The snow conditions were shallow and a bit sharky but we had a great time nonetheless.

I always felt like skinning up a mountain was a lot of effort for such a short run down but now I see the reason! Can’t wait to see more of these vlogs… kudos to Carlos for trekking up there with the camera!

This is so exciting to watch Jens! Very thrilling and enjoyable. It looks like a cool group you had there. Especially Markus, whom I know from last year when he was treating me for an injury I sustained after falling off a cliff in Laax, he’s a magician, he helped me recover quickly and get over that bad stiffness I had. i’d love to see more of this stuff..

@@StompItTutorials i live in Liechtenstein and am getting more into skitouring. used to live in Västernorrland for 5 years,which was beautiful but not the best skiing compared to grisons/Graubünden.

So well crafted. Excellent, excellent camera work. Superb shot and audio choices during editing phase. Really told the story. Love the lack of machismo, vulnerability, respect for terrain and joy in accomplishment. Top drawer.

Love it mate! How can someone start backcountry skiing? I’m quite advanced at skiing but want to try something new.
Just give a google for a ski touring course close to you to learn some of the basics with a guide :)

Can you suggest me a good avabag? I’m considering to buy one because it could really save your life…
I don´t have much experience with them but I had the electric one from scott for 3 years now and it was pretty good but it really annoyed me cause the avi bag would fall out sometimes when i crashed- Otherwise its neat with electric but difficult to pack smart in it. My girlfriend has one from ABS and it also really annoys me and her even more for trying to be to clever and revent the backpack making it dumb. Now I was given a Mammut light and its close to perfect for me with how the pockets are organised its lightness.
