I had a lot of fun with evolve, honestly there's a massive gap that it filled and they just needed to do it right, hopefully another company fills that gap soon because it was genuinely a fun concept
I've had playstation growing up, but the controllers always feel like you're conforming your hands to the controller. The Xbox controller however feels like it conforms to your hand, and feels even more so the older you get.

I actually liked evolve there was ways o fix it and it wouldnt have been to hard jsut make sure monster speed and character speed are mostly balanced and give trapper higher speeds, then let the monster evolve with less wildlife. Pacing would have been 10m shorter and with much more encounters between hunter and monster... They just botched that shit to high heavens because i remember everyone asking me to play on xbox and we played til the servers died. (Not without our own issues of course)

Also, their monetization system should be fine since people always say they rather just buy the skin instead of rolling the dice for it, but in reality they need loot boxes and a rotating shop in order to feel a sense of achievement. It's always sad to see games ahead of it's time not make it.
When they talked about a touchpad on a controller and people were saying PS5, in what Universe do they live where PS5 was out when Ouya was in development?

Bound for failure. Mobile gaming on the rise alone destroyed any chance, if any. Also console exclusives were becoming a selling point, so what in the hell could Ouya have? An exclusive knock-off Happy Wheels game? Clearly they were going for a casual market, but why buy an extra machine when you could play anything on your phone and maybe a console if you want something more..

ive been playing a bit lately again, servers are down but there p2p now, they couldve done so much if they'd had made other gamemodes
I remember playing a whole afternoon with the exact same randoms every game because nobody else was playing
some of those game events seem like they would be fun to attend but you would need a gas mask

Evolve was honestly really boring. Too repetitive. I played it about 80 hours, was not fun. Was mostly either bored out of my mind or pissed off.
