In dance, my forte are contemporary and musicals and have done most of my performances in theatre. Hoshi said that this was probably one of the hardest choreos he had ever done...said their legs hurt for days after filming the MV. That's saying a lot, especially for Hoshi...especially for ANYONE in Seventeen for that matter! LOVE THESE GUYS!! Definitely the comic team of Seventeen! 😊
@@roastbeeff They talked about the choreo during the LIVE Countdown to the release of "Fighting". The whole video is fun to watch; but it's around the 52:00 minute mark that they talk about how tiring it was.

jeff I think you'd have fun comparing the choreography to the meaning of the lyrics bc its musical theater-ness will be even more evident I think! like just the first verse, hoshi's lines are about waking up in the morning which is why they're on the floor and then get up, and during dokyeom and seungkwan's lines about sleeping in instead of having breakfast and getting through the morning by getting take out coffee, dk looks like he's in a drive through window while seungkwan is getting coffee in a car made up of hoshi and the dancers :)

I would say BSS is the SVT gag trio but the Su uses of their album wind is so seriously powerful . Amazing chro fighting 💪🏻❤

The lying down part at the beginning is actually acting out the lyrics, the lyrics during that part says "it's morning already, i have to wake up"
Wow, I'm pretty sure in other versions I've seen they used two dancers feet to throw Hoshi, but wow
It's a leg press, that guy leg pressed Hoshi up into the air!
The dancers hide the cup behind their hands and act like a dispenser when Seungkwan presses the "button" IT IS SO COOL. SO THEATRICALLLL
One of my favorite parts is how after that moment, when Hoshi us up there wailing on that high note for us, and DK is singing the main melody line, Seungkwan joins the dancer line! And he is killing that choreo while singing ad libs live, too. 🙌 Then when Hoshi climbs down, they all join together and then join DK/Youngji - it's such a nice growth to that finale moment of them all together

Suggestion:
There's a Japanese TH-cam channel called First Take, where they invite singers and groups to perform a song in a single take, just standing in front of microphones. No dancing.
Stray Kids was the first non-Japanese group to be invited to perform on there. They have since done 5 individual First Takes and their voices are beautiful.
I think you'd really enjoy that channel. (There are lots of other amazing singers on there, as well.)
BSS isn't called the Musical Theatre Kids for no reason 😂
