All of the techniques that were used had such amazing tone! At times the clarinet's sound reminded me of a violin and it was just insane! This deserves WAY more views than almost 40,000.
amazing! just incredible! such colorful playing and such character… every second of this was absolute heaven and i could have sworn i was listening to a violin at some points! he is truly, the god of clarinet!
Amazing! Stupendous! Effortless! I didn't know a clarinet could do these things. There are moments when you would swear you were listening to a violin.
La ejecución es un alarde de habilidad y técnica; Kavac puede hacerlo como le dé la gana y siempre sonará extraordinario. Las notas en registro alto son impecables. Sinceramente, no he conocido un clarinetista mejor.
The top note, the F# is literally so hard to hit. The rest not so much but getting all those tongues in is just crazy! Reminds me of the Nicolas Baldeyrou version.
Okay as a clarinet player I can say this should be impossible to play the way he did. However, I didn't much like the his rendition because it took away some of the music's beauty by trying to imitate violin techniques: all the growls, vibrato (actually liked the super altissimos and glissandos).
+Alessandro Clarinette For me he has got very good feeling of phrase and generally music, but it's "clarineted" version with strong amount of characteristical for clarinet klezma (i'm not sure of this word. i think about judaic music).
If he could play same or close level in live performance, I could say Bravissimo but there is 1 of his live performance of this piece and he destroys almost whole piece.. especially in coda. Too much effects, too much different technics, too much crowd. The original piece is already really difficult for both violin and clarinet and no need to add sooo much stuff inside.. these all just blocks the main melodies and the mode of the piece. Sometimes even I cant bare to listen.. Sorry but it is a dislike for me.. 😒
ONE OF THE BEST CLARINET VIDEOS ON TH-cam

His playing is over the limit of the clarinet. The best player in the world.

I thought it gave it character and he was in no way trying to imitate violin techniques
Some pieces were meant to be performed by the instrument they were written for. This is one of them. Excellent technique, but not a clarinet piece.
You play with vibrato and gliss like it is klezmer and I dont love it
Carmen’s main character is a gypsy. This klezmer style is putting back the flamenco in Bizet’s piece.
It's amazing technically, but the worst musical phrases and style. Music is not a technical aspect..

+Bartosz Potęga yes. It's very mannered style which I don't like
Bartosz Potęga Klezmer
Best Clarinetist----Superrrrrr Genius......Gratulation.......
Your opinion is valueless. I would bet you are a wannabee violyn player at best. Where have you soloed?
