i would never have this done no way
My father had it. He couldn't even swallow water after surgery. Lost his walking ability mostly and caught an infection during battery replacement. Entire DBS had to be removed to cure the infection. They decided it was too risky to put it back. Now he cant talk or walk and bed ridden for the rest of his life thanks to DBS. He flew to the surgery on his own. Even doctors dont understand how this works. They will blame it on decease progression if something goes wrong.
So sorry 😞 😔
Where did he have it done?
Oh boy, sorry to hear about that..
thank u for telling your story i knew it was not 100 percent safe i would never let a doctor play god with my life
I got it done but i am much younger and it has been nothing but a blessing but i had mine done at one of the best hospitals in the country ucsf. Also i would definitely sue them, emotional and physical damages.
My husband had in Nov 22 had stiffness 5-6 hours but after DBS surgery he still has stiffness 4-5 hours. The neurologist said stiiffness will be there wont cure totally.
not this
I am going for a dbs assessment on the 27th. As long as I exercise at my current full maximum I will be ok. If not then I will be hesitant
Hi sir what is the update? Hope you’re feeling better

I would stay away from DBS. My fathers DBS journey was miserable
@@ssap3717 my dbs was bad as well. After applying the brace to my head..it went down hill after that. Never made it to the o.r.
Consider yourself lucky to be saved at the last minute. You never be the same or feel natural once this infection prone monstrosity is inside of you that you make you a slave to the neurologist and dbs programmer. @@GoProGoalieUzi
