Funny how Diona decided to be Diluc's enemy, turns out to be one of the best support for him 😂

Thank you for creating this very informative video about him. As much as I like those channel that covers different characters, I enjoy watching channels for those niche/specific characters who deep dives everything about the character. My suggestion is that for visual clarity, NA(n) could be changed to N(n) instead so its easier to read (and generally what is most people are used to) so instead of NA1QNA1QNA1Q, it could've been N1Qx3 or something.

I can't say for sure because I don't have it and never heard anyone mentioning about C6 Kaeya either aside from the DPS increase.

Really great video. I'm trying to explore more synergy options for Diluc outside of the typical XQ/Yelan and this has been very helpful. What's your opinion on Diluc's synergy with Ayaka/Ganyu/Shenhe?
So far I've been really enjoying a team of Diluc/Ayaka/Kazuha/Kokomi. Sometimes the cryo+hydro application is enough to instantly refreeze them in place but the timing is tight. Sometimes Diluc also causes a shatter instead of a melt, but can't really figure out why.
Ayaka is fine, but more of Speedrun gimmick for Bosses and is a waste slot for Diluc.
Knowing Her Q is even strong enough for Hu Tao to do Melt within than 5 seconds.
Shenhe couldn't work consistently.
Her Q application is even more uneven than Diona, so its hard to make Her work as solo Enabler.
Although She is good for 2 Cryo team.
Ganyu is one of the best Diluc melt enabler next to Kaeya. Though Her Q application needs some learning to understand, it worth the effort for the fact Her Team variant is versatile, She can hold elegy, and allows for TtoDS Team variant.
Diluc do Shatters when Mobs is on Freeze state and Diluc either hit with non reaction attack (ICD) or Hit them when the Cryo aura is weak (Frozen mobs can still be affected bt Cryo)
This is why Freeze Melt variant is unreliable for Diluc because the potential Shatters as He need to do full combo (which needs you to do some NA) in order to maximize His DPS.
Running 2 Cryo (ideally Diona + any other Cryo enabler) would be eventually be better as its more practical and has the same potential DPS output.
@@cavernman4739 So it depends on how much cryo aura is applied if it leads to a melt vs a shatter? Yeah it's probably too finicky. I really liked the crowd control but it's not possible for Kazuha to get double cryo/pyro swirl without breaking the freeze anyways.
What kind of tricks are there for Ganyu's Q with Diluc? I'm thinking of getting her for a melt support since Kaeya C6 is going to take so long (and she also seems like fun for messing around with fridge teams).
@@pfalzFinest Use her Q as closely as possible to Enemy when used to increase the consistency.
Though tbh, As good Ganyu is as Enabler, She is VERY RnG reliant. You can get Her Q pattern right on one boss, then still need different setup and combo managenet everywhere else.
This is why I left Her on the guide because Her Rotations isnt general but specific for certain enemy, scenario, and bosses.
I don't recommend specifically pulling Ganyu as Melt enabler, as Rosaria and Kaeya exist and is more practical.
Both of them practically has the same DPS output as Ganyu variant due to how Diluc melt rotation works (Ganyu generally wont' benefit from Bennett)
The only Benefit of Ganyu variant are Her being able to hold Elegy, and allows for Sucrose (if you use Her) to give TtoDS to Diluc, and the QoL in AoE.
Little question, in a comp where both Bennett and Rosaria present, which set do you put on them ? Specifically the Diluc - Bennett - Rosaria - Diona comp. I imagined it would be NO for Bennett but what would be optimal (for Diluc's damage) to put on Rosaria ?
Personally my Bennett remains using 4pc NO, and let Diona hold instructor so I can leave my Rosaria with 4pc EoSF for bettet Team DPS.

I'm hoping to make a sorta Monsdstat focused Diluc Melt team and I know you used Sucrose and Kazuha in your examples but I wondering if I can just mimic what you're doing with kazuha on Venti? His rerun is coming up and I thought it fitting to have Diluc be supported by his nations Archon even if Kazuha would likely be the better fit.
If I'm not mistaken, Venti Q can absorb multiple element even after absorbing one, and still follow normal Elemental Priority (Hydro > Pyro > Electro > Cryo) so most likely No, His constant Pyro Swirl will ended up mess up Diluc DPS.
It is still doable with Rosaria if you don't use His Q since Her Application is consistent and fast enough for Diluc to melt shorter version full Combo.
You want might want yo try Mona instead if you want to run Venti.
Mona's omen can boost both Venti and Diluc, Venti's passive can help Mona's ER problem and Venti multi swirl shouldn't mess Diluc vape so long you manage Diluc Combo properly

Going off of the description in game and at least what KQM said as of 3.3 I'm not seeing anything saying it'll absorb multiple times but I do know it has quadratic scaling so maybe that's it? it's worth testing at the very least but assuming it only absorbs the cryo theoritcally speaking would it work then? Otherwise I can just use Sucrose but she's only C1 right now.

I'm simply relying on my Memory about His Q having multiple colors each time it comes in contact with different Element, So I assume it also Absorb and Apply element accordingly.
Yes, assuming it only absorb and apply Cryo, He should works.
Yes Sucrose can also work, in some case better than Kazuha (Rosaria, Ganyu,and Layla variant)
C1 is enough, as matter fact, only C1 that you might need (so She doesn't have to stuck with Sacrificial)
@@cavernman4739 That's understandable, his burst is quiet large and swirls up to 7 times while having 20 anemo ticks and 16 Absorbed Element ticks (Cryo in this case) according to KQM. That's good to hear she works and I'll likely rewatch her sections when Venti's banner comes around in case I fail the 50/50. Thanks for all the info! helps me fine tune my Diluc to do his best while having a nice theme going on.

Yep, I did tried Her but not very thoroughly so I left Her.
From what I can tell She is practically a better Diona in term of application (they both share almost same issue with AoE) minus the buff.

To your question about WGS, yes there are better weapons than WGS namely Reed sea and Redhorn.
Although it's only if Bennett is on the team. If Diluc isn't paired with Bennett, WGS (and even Unforged) is still better.

Ideal (High Frontload DPS, worse downtime)
Bennett > Sucrose (EM Wep)> Barbara (TtoDS) > Diluc
Optimal (Lower DPS, consistent uptime)
Barbara E (Sacrificial) > Bennett Q E > Sucrose (TtoDS) > Approach Enemy to remove Pyro Aura OR do Ex2 N1 / E N4 before swapping to Diluc > Diluc (don't do combo immediately wait for Hydro to be applier / Absorbed if you use Sucrose Q)

When i do my rotation with furina, benny, diluc, kazuha, ill do furina e-q, kazuha q, benny q-e then ill try to swirl pyro but hydro debuff is always on, what am i doing wrong?. I play on a phone if that makes any difference. Thanks
The setup you used should work fine in ST as long as you don't have any Swap Delays.
But in AoE:
If your Bennett is C6, Do N1 after Q E to reapply Pyro (Furina E Q > Kazuha Q > Bennett Q E N1 > Kazuha E Tap > Diluc)
The timing is strict, so if you are playing with >200 Ping, it could be tricky.
If your Bennett isn't C6, it's kinda impossible to remove Pyro after using Kazuha Q infused with Hydro.
Instead, use Kazuha Q after Pyro Swirl.
Example: Bennett Q > Kazuha E Pyro Swirl > Furina E Q > Kazuha Q > Diluc
Kazuha's Q will get infused by Pyro but the Hydro Aura will persist as long as there is one or more enemies undet Hydro aura during the swirl.
You can also use Kazuha E after Q if all enemies are affected by Hydro, this way thr Hydro aura will be stronger and harder to remove.

Where have you trained doing dragonstrikes? I mean abyss or some places in open world?
Abyss.
I used to attempt Dragonstrike run every once in a while, and somehow get used to it before I knew it.
Personally, While training on specific place / boss / enemy might be good to get the hang of it, you'll have trouble doing it in real practice as other factor might screw what your hand had used to (hit lag, interruption, timing, collisions issue, etc)
So I find practice on Abyss (especially non bosses) to be the most effective.
Btw lets say u have c1 kazuha, does your rotation is similar or different to take advantage of xtra e skill after burst?
Simillar.
There is little to no point of using additional Kazuha E, even worse after Q. it'll just make the setup longer which would just kill your DPS window, especially in Yelan / Kaeya team where they have strict DPS window.
I was hoping to make a melt team with Diluc, Charlotte, Benny, and Kazuha but would you recommend it or would running Kaeya be better?
I haven't done much test with Charlotte but Team DPS speaking Kaeya is better.
Charlotte provide QoL in AoE with Her Q frontload Cryo application plus Range and more forgiving Energy requirement since She doesn't need Q to help enabling Melt.

Help, i have problem with Diluc's ult, he push mob away. If i don't use ult i don't have infusion and if i ult, i have to chase them down

There is no solution to that sadly except C6 Bennett.
This is why Dragonstrike is only ideal for ST.

Definitely. Cons hardly affect Diluc DMG (except C4, which almost never used in most scenario)
And with proper stats, Serpent Spine is just close behind most 5*(with R5 being Straight up better)

Pyro Aura nya terlalu kuat buat Kaeya hapus.
Kalo banyak musuh yg kena Bennett E, atau Kazuha E waktu Swirl Pyro, bakal susah (bahkan mustahil) buat hapus Pyro Aura nya.
Pake NA atau jangan pake Kazuha E buat pyro swirl nya (tunggu sampe Q nya swirl Pyro kek di Video nya) atau usahain cuma satu atau dua momon yg dapet Pyro Aura supaya Pyro aura nya bisa langsung ilang.

Kalo Bennett nya gak C6, cek di vidro yg bagian NA Cancel om buat min max DPS nya.
Sebenerya sih Zhongli juga bagus buat alternatif, kasih aja Zhongli 4pc Instructor biar ga terlalu jatoh DPS nya.
Pake shield nya sebelum swap ke Diluc biar durasi Intructor nya lama kepake sama Diluc lagi on field.

Too inconsistent and limited AoE, nearly worse than Diona.
Diona herself is nearly impossible to setup in AoE and is lackluster if it wasnt for Dragonstrike and the C6 Bonus.
