North Wales Day 3 - Betws-y-Coed & Swallow Falls

After a few days break we returned to North Wales to continue our exploring. The weather was initially kind to us but the heavens opened and the rain came. The areas was generally very wet with most of the low lying campsites being flooded out. We noticed that one of the CL sites was basically now part of the river just outside of Capel Curig. Being motorhome less again due to still trying to find our replacement we headed back to the guest house we had stayed in before. This walk about shows Lisa and I looking around Betws-y-Coed and then onto Swallow Falls a mile or so outside of the village. I last visited the falls when I was a child (45 years ago), little has changed aside from the fact you no longer pay a person on the gate but use either a contactless card or put your coins in the turn-style gate machine. With the heavy rain the falls looked amazing, the sound quality might not be great due to the noise but you can get the points I am making !
