Oh my goodness! I thought I was doing the downtown wrong because I had to keep picking up my feet. Turns out, it's because I have outdoor wheels! I feel validated and like I may be able to work on this skill even without indoor wheels (yet) :) THANK YOU!
Thank you. That’s a great idea for a video. It’s definitely an etiquette. Be mindful of beginners, give them space, for them and you. They could fall unexpectedly and you don’t want to end up together in a tangled mess on the floor.
Any advice on how to get confident in skating outside? I'm okay at the rink, can't do any tricks but I'm new and learning. It was beautiful out today so I grab some pads and a helmet and head to the boardwalk. I was so scared of falling despite having the knee, wrist, and elbow pads that I couldn't even stand up from my car in my skates.
Skating outside is so much more intimidating than inside. I have a skating outside video which may help you. Be sure to always scan the terrain ahead so you have time to react to obstacles.
going out to someplace with hills, uneven terrain, and people is too scary for me. A fairly clean, level parking lot before the shops open or an empty basketball court are easy to find and I feel much less intimidated. I also do drills at home and then save the distance stuff that I just want to refine for outdoors.
Great tutorial. we are wondering if the angle of your plates or king pin is at 45 degrees, are you more likely or less to stay and or reach a skate edge. Thank you in advance. Art plates tend to be 15 degrees?
I really love how much you break this down, I've watched a few videos but I think this is going to help it click. Thanks!
That’s fantastic, hope it helps you xx 🛼👍👍💕
Your videos really help use raise our skate vocabulary and we thank you.
Oh that’s really cool. I hadn’t thought about it like that. 🛼💕👍
can we take a moment to talk about how cute her hair color is?

It’s all in the wheels! Glad this helped you boost your confidence. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️😎
Once you broke down the moves it seems really achievable for me, thanks :)

That’s fantastic! 🛼👍💕
Maybe in a couple of months. This is beyond my present skill set!
Work on some one leg balancing and this will get easier. You got this.
Great channel! Do you have any tips for getting around people at the rink?

This really helped, turning shoulders at the v mid point was my turning point 😂
Brilliant. Glad it helped.

I wear the Roll-Line dance plate which is around a 18/23 degree plate. Roll-Line often have different front and back too.
