From everything I know from all the other MVs, concept trailers, and the webtune. I think this is about the Princess who turned them by giving the boys her powers. Through all the past title tracks on one level or another they have had to deal with what fate has caused. They were fated to be turned in "Give -Taken", seduced by the power of fate in “Drunk-Dazed". They tried to escape their fate by going through a wormhole in “Tamed-Dashed”. By the year 2000 they are growing tired and just want to rebel against their fate in “Blessed- Cursed.“ The Manifesto Era found them trying to fight the evil vampires and their fate. By the end of that Era their souls have grown old and tired, Nothing has worked. The “foreshadow” song at the end of the Manifesto Era said” I realized that moment that that infinitely deep deep well of a shadow was the foreshadowing of the things to come ushering in the approaching rainstorm and typhoon, Is the fate of the person who sees it first.” This takes us to this concept and our comeback. They tell us that this will be a story of “pride and oblivion, love and sacrifice and fate”. They also say “If you wish to escape from this twist of fate say these words” “BIT ME “ that is what is happening. Whether you believe that this a different time, dimension or that the girl is Saline or Sohaa, we and they have come to this moment, This is about fate and accepting what can not be changed so that they can finally move on. Heeseung knows this and tells the others. But Sunghoon is not a part of this decision to move on. He resists and the fight is on. Jungwon and his brothers are ready to accept their fate, ready to “return their power to the one who gave it to them in the first place” That is why Jay just stands there while the girl reluctantly bites him. Sunghoon also knows it is time to accept his fate, (notice the empty pineapple cans a sign from another movie that it is time to end the relationship). The voice over said “Only after making the same dumb mistakes, I barely came to realize that you were the reason for my beginning. I will devote my everything and go back to you once again because it’s rightfully so that all the powers and capabilities are returned back to you.” Sunghoon, the only one left, said “BITE ME” to finally “ Escape from this twist of fate.” The girl says good bye my love and it is over… or is it. This is where the Comeback begins. It feels sad, emotional and deeply unsettling because it is about accepting the things you can not change to finally move on to a future that you can. It’s about reality and growing up and change. It’s about endings so that there can be a beginning or at lest I hope so.
the only theory that makes sense , is that sunghoon came from the past to save her ? that explain why he was riding a horse and wearing old style clothes like a long coat while the others were wearing leather jackets and chains and earrings , riding a motocycle , so when the actress bite them she more like sucked the blood back , explain why the narration "all the authority and powers goes back to you" while sgh since he is from the past he vanished to return , i think the boys were suffering from the non-ending cycle , explain why some scenes in black and white and then the same scene in colors , i think i'm not sure is to show the loop or the repetetive cycle and sgh knowing everything he tried to save them all by coming to the future to stop it ?? again i'm not sure all this is just my theories ,i also think she knows them all but they do not , since when she bumped into jay his mouth/jaw moved indicating he talked , high chances he said "bite me " and then she looked frustrated and bite him , she took everything back and sgh left ... why they are fighting eo i dont know, where is heeseung we dk , it does have a lot of loop holes since i dont really understand , but this and the webtoon are so different , the webtoon is only inspired but enha lore is the original so the story is more confusing ,i hope we get a little explaination when the mv drops , cant wait ! and excuse me bad english 😅😅😅😅
Rosalya Art: I love your comment about Sunghoon coming from a past century. I also like Sunghoon wardrobe, his dark suit, his horse, and his choice of weapon the sword. And, Sunghoon had lethal skills with his swords, the sword fights were brilliant in this video. Also, Sunghoon's character was regal and refine, he carried himself like a gentleman from the Victorian era, in my opinion. The young woman in the video was fortunate to have Sunghoon as a mate, and to add his season fighting skills and protecting nature, was fascinating to watch. I must also say that Niki's intro into this video with his double swords and that swagger that showed he was ready for battle, was awesome and exciting to watch as well. This is an interesting concept video from Enhypen, and myself as a fan of vampire/lycan books and films. Anyway, Rosalyn Art, your comment and opinions was also interesting to read. 🙂
based on the comments currently down below, i'd like to remind everyone that enha has kind of confirmed on their live that the dark blood storyline is meant to be viewed separately from the dark moon webtoon's storyline, though i do think that there are some details that are highly based on the webtoon (including powers, roles, etc). it explains why the details / timeline is so different
In my opinion, this girl is Sooha. In "past" life, Sooha was Selen, a Vampire Queen. Enhypen members were Vampire Lords protecting her in battle with Dardan (evil Vampire), but they got hurt and almost die. She saved them by sharing some of her power to them and sending them to another hundreds years . Then Sooha ("present" character of Selen) and these 7 vampires have battle again with Dardan. Sooha bites them, absorb their super power, and then they die. There are big questions: * Why must they give back their super power to her again? * Why must they fight each other before giving back their power? Enhypen's album and MV are always steps ahead their storyline in Webtoon. We just wait for those answers in the Webtoon, "Dark Moon: The Blood Altar". Before this "Dark Blood" Concept trailer, Hybe released a new logo trailer. This logo is different from logo for "Dark Moon: The Blood Altar". So, "Dark Blood" and "Dark Moon" should be different storylines. It seems, this concept trailer tells the ending for story of "Dark Moon: The Blood Altar" and also the beginning for a new story of "Dark Blood". The new story is still about 7 vampires, but in other Universe.

So as for theories… there’s a lot going on and we don’t really know much since this is different from their usual storyline. They did upload a behind the scenes of filming the concept trailer and they discussed the stunts, how they went to action acting school for about a month to film this: th-cam.com/video/i6v9wGytQFs/w-d-xo.html The girl in the trailer, does not represent the fandom. They are already vampires during the trailer and the girl seems to need to bite them to in order for them to escape their twist of fate as she needs her full power (which is presumed to be divided in between the 7 different boys, and this is basing on the storyline that we already know) and by biting them, she can recuperate her power in order to fight . This definitely is a different reality or a parallel universe from their usual story as it’s very different. Sunghoon has been hiding out with the girl to avoid their fate as they would pretty much die and lose each other (and the girl) and the guys do want to find the girl and fulfil their destiny. Heeseung woke up and either had a vision of these events and tried (or will be trying) to prevent them and that’s why he sent the members out to fight Sunghoon. They played a version of rock, paper, scissors in which Jungwon lost. The members then seem to have gone inside Jungwon as Jungwon being the main body and when Sunghoon killed each, a new member came out from them. The cans are in reference of the Japanese movie “Chungking Express”. This Concept Trailer was released on May 1st. It goes like this: 1 May, 1994. Chungking Express. Wong Kar Wai. He Zhiwu, Cop 223 “We split up on April Fool’s Day. So I decided to let the joke run for a month. Every day I can buy a can of pineapple with a sell-by date of May 1. May loves pineapple, and May 1 is my birthday. If May hasn’t changed her mind by the time I’ve bought 30 cans. then our love will also expired.” Meaning that, Sunghoon’s and the girl’s love expired on May 1. Because they had to fulfil their destiny and Sunghoon got injured due to Jake and Sunoo so by the time the girl got to him it was too late and he faded away. It’s not clear whether she did or not bite him as we can hear and see when she bites Jake and Jay… but it’s not clear if she bit Sunoo either. I really hope we get our questions answered soon!
