A must is a foldable water bottle and also I bring a little battery operated fan that hangs around my neck. Nothing heavy or bulky, just small enough to fit in my pocket or purse.
I cannot go to a themepark or anywhere without my adventure bag! It's a hefty bag that I put books in, chargers, cameras, my phone, and water! It is a must to have my adventure bag!
When I went to Universal in Florida back in May it was over 90 degrees every day and we had a little mist maker thingy with us. That thing was a lifesaver because it would cool us down, and we could just refill it whenever it was gone. This was a class trip and my teacher gave it to me so I don't know exactly what it was, but it helped a ton!
I don't go to theme parks very often but when I do, water is a must! It can be so expensive to purchase, and the only free water is from water fountains.
I love La Croix! My favorites are the grapefruit and the cherry lime. Soooo good. Plus that little blue backpack you have is adorable...I wish I had one! Whenever I go to theme parks I generally travel light, but I always have my sunglasses.
I would say sunglasses and water are my go-to items to take with me. I almost never leave the house without something to drink, because I think keeping yourself hydrated is very important and I get thirsty a lot. Sunnies are an absolute requirement if you are going to be spending the day out with lots of sunshine. It's not very enjoyable if you are constantly being dazzled with light.
You should try either the Simple Micellar Water or the Simple Micellar wipes if you like those blotting wipes! They're so refreshing and cleansing and a wonderful pick me up, especially during a long hot day like going to disneyland. I usually use the micellar water first thing in the morning to wake my skin up and after washing my face to get anything my face wash didn't pick up - the stuff is a life saver and you can get it at Target!
I always have lip balm, gum, and concealer on me at all times. If I forget any of these items like if I switch purses or bags something always seems to go wrong and I end up looking a mess. Not that I'm very put together most of the time anyway haha!
I love this so much!! I wish i went to disneyland later because we just got back!! But you should do a video on essential oils like the blends and stuff!
We missed you Amanda! I'm really happy you're back on your own channel (I watch your vlogs religiously). I'm so glad you took time for yourself, although I am sad that you spent so much time sick with the flu and nauseous from the baby, but it's great to have you back. We love you and little Luna! Give Ariana a happy birthday hug for me. :)
+Erica Szotek I'm so sad that I had to be away for so long! It was truly eye opening to know that my body reacted so crazy to pregnancy hormones! Thanks for welcoming me back and for watching my vids!
Amanda Faye, can you please tell me where you got that Harry Potter wallet? Its so cute and I have been looking everywhere for it! Oh and BTW I love the videos you and your husband make. They always put a smile on my face! :)
I usually bring my stuff in a backpack to Disney world and I carry: 1. My diabetes supplies ( blood glucose meter, test strips, an extra omnipod/ vial of insulin, lancets, my finger pricker, snacks in case if my blood sugar gets low, extra syringes in case if something goes really wrong with both my omnipods and my glucagon ) because I am a type 1 diabetic and need that 2. A Jacket 3. Phone/ Portable charger for my phone and meter to charge 4. My wallet/ medical ID/ tickets 5. Girl emergency kit ( just in case) 6. MORE SNACKS bc low blood sugar or just hunger cause Disney food= EXPENSIVE
So happy you are back to making videos! I never thought about bringing essential oils along for the ride to Disneyland but it sounds like a great idea especially after the large crowds and long lines!
*things that i bring when i go to disneyland* vaseline (petroleum gel; for my dry ass lip), snacks because disney's snacks are expensive af, jacket, hat, and hair tie
i actually have a couple essential oils and they're vEry nice to have. certain ones help with certain things. like lavendery ones are really calming and they really work. :)
I cannot go to Disneyland without my Minnie ears! They're just a must have thing whenever you go to Disneyland. I'm so happy you're making videos again Amanda 😘
Hey Amanda! I used to struggle with oily skin and horrible acne (I've lived in hot, humid Florida for most of my life) and I have found that the best cure for it is to use oils as a moisturizer (as soon as you get out of the shower). The reasoning behind it is when you use soaps and/or cleansers to strip away the oil, it actually causes your body to produce more oil creating that vicious cycle. I've used olive, grapeseed, and unrefined coconut oil, alongside castile soaps or African Black soap (which is supposed to work wonders on acne). I've been doing this for about 4 years now, and I've noticed that my skin is no where near as oily (I now wash it once a day, sometimes every 2 days) and my face stays clear of acne for the most part (we all have our days lol). I love your guy's channels so much and I hope this helps!!
+Anne Bizub thank you so much for this! I'm always open to how people who have suffered with oily/acne prone skin healed it and maintain their good skin. I'll definitely be trying this out and seeing if I see any improvement :)
dang that's a lot of stuff! I always keep it minimalist and light - credit card, ID, bit of cash, phone, small refillable bottle, sunscreen, tinted lipbalm with spf, wetwipes and maaybe an emergency snack dried-fruit-bar-type-of-deal. the one thing I CAN'T go without is def sunscreen!
I'd like to see more on your Essentiald Oils, theres a lot of stuff people don't k.ow about them, and it bothers me because people could be doing them unsafely. So I think seeing a video of how you prepare and what you use to dilute them would be great. Especially when others probably want to give them a shot. It'd be cool to see how you use yours and what ones especially with pregnancy and what risks there are.
Oh how I wish I was there right now I would love a day at DisneyLand though I was just there for my birthday in September. Luckily I will be moving back to California this summer so I can visit there more often already looking forward to my 17th birthday at the same place hopefully.
I ALWAYS have a camera with me! Well, at least one. I have a Polaroid digital action camera that is shock proof and waterproof to 50m that I always keep in my bag because I have a cheap little phone with a terrible camera so I like to always have one with me that is ready for anything. I have an Instax Mini 90 that I love, I don't use it very often because film is expensive but I love it so so much. Then I have a DSLR that I use for everything else like portraits and when we go on walks in woods and things like that. I love my cameras! The other thing I always have in my bag is a book, never leave the house without one even if I know I'm not going to read it I have it just in case because you never know :P
How about road trips? Like either going across state or just a day trip to your fav beach that is a few hours away? Love ya Amanda and congrats again on baby Luna 😊😊
This may sound weird but I've never been to a theme park before but I plan to go maybe this year or next with my family and we want to go Disney land and have road trip since it will be my first time leaving my birth home(Hawaii)and possibly my only time so we want to make it the best memory possible but when I do go to one I'll probly bring without a doubt a water bottle and my phone as well as a camera to take pictures.
you seem pretty prepared!! the only things i add to my purse at all times is a mini hair brush (because while i don't have super long hair, it tangles up really easily), a small pack of tissues, and a little container of ibuprofen and tylenol. :)
Motion sickness medicine. I usually take it before the car rides, and it helps make me not as nauseous when I go on roller coasters and other rides as well. I consider it a win/win. :)
I always have to bring an extra set of clothing because my family absolutely loves going on water rides, and we tend to go on them multiple time, especially in the summer! (I'm in Florida, so winter time is also considered summer, because it's so freaking hot!) And I also make sure I have an extra pair of socks, because I hate wet socks more than anything in the world, they irritate you feet, and they begin to stink after awhile! I loved the video Amanda, and btw your super pretty and hilarious! I love you! ❤️
Hi Amanda, I am very happy for you having your baby! I was extremely happy when I found out! I love your videos, Could you maybe do a lookbook with your maternity wear, ( i know you haven't bought any, but when you start too ). Have a good day xx
I was so happy when you said you were bringing your videos back! I'm not big into fashion/beauty/lifestyle vloggers but I love your videos! They're always so adorable and your style is absolutely to die for! :)
To be honest you're the only one I watch :) Your and Matthias' videos have become a part of my daily 'TH-cam routine' and whenever either of you responds/likes to my comments/tweets it's awesome! Like there's a real feeling of connection between you and your fanbase :) Keep up the good work Amanda, I'm really looking forward to the videos about Luna! ♥
ooooh I would take my doTERRA blend of essential oils as well, equal parts of lemon, lavender, clary sage and geranium in a roller bottle with coconut oil...although stay away from the last two until you're READY to have Luna!
I know this is extremely late, in fact, a year late, but I as well have an Instax mini camera, but it's broken. We purchased many films, testing them out to see if they were the problem, but it's the camera. Films won't come out and if they do they turn out white. Before (when it started), I had to take a picture 3-4 times, because the film wouldn't come out. I was wondering if you knew a place that fixes these cameras, I'm going to Disney this Saturday, and although I know that my camera won't be repaired by then, I just want to know an area so that on my next visit, I would have these pictures to log and keep forever. I think sunscreen is good to Cary in case it’s really warm and also a spare pare of sick’s if u go on water rides because no one wants soggy feet/socks 🧦 🧴
Hey Amanda, I missed your videos! I love your 9 3/4 wallet, and you have a great checklist for traveling. I'm traveling abroad next month, so this comes in handy a bit. I hope you have a great trip!
Amanda, your office background went so well with your outfit! I felt like I was transported to a new dimension!! This is the first 'What's In My Bag' video of yours that I have ever seen! =) For me, I always have to bring my digital camera with me because I love taking photos and I never know for sure when I am going to need it! I love your Instax Mini and your Platform 9 3/4 Wallet! They look so cute! Being a guy, I am trying to understand women and their makeup, so maybe you or someone else can explain why you would need to bring powder to a theme park! Everything else made sense, but I don't know how powder works exactly! I have an essential oil spray that mixes lavender and lemon to relieve anxiety and increase energy, so I know where you are coming from with the whole essential oil setup! =) I don't know if you have done this before, but I would love to see a 'What's In My Bag' video for going out on a date! I know it is vague, but I would love to see what ideas you would have! =)
This is a great video! Even though our kids are out of diapers, I always take baby wipes with me wherever we go. We keep one pack in our mini van and another pack in our out-all-day bag.
Hi Amanda! I love watching your videos they inspire me in so many ways your like a role model for me. Your just so beautiful and your style is amazing 💜 I love you Amanda, take care with the new baby! I hope everything is going fine, have a great day! Bye 😊😍💚
A book! I bring a book everywhere even if I have no time to read
same!!
Same!
Same
same
I am the same haha always bring one but it's highly unlikely I find time to read while I'm out. 😂
you could say those are your bare necessities... the simple bare necessities
Janely Barajas... The bare necessitie of life will come to you
I was just going to comment that too! XD
I love you
......
XD yess
I can't go to a theme park without my sunscreen!! I'll get very bad sunburns if I am outside all day.
An essential for Florida theme parks, especially in the summer is water and sunscreen, it gets pretty hot snd sunny.
I'm glad you're making videos again! I don't think I've ever clicked a video so fast!
Lol I felt the same way lol
+Teena MSP yay! Awww that's so sweet of you!
I would love to see a video about essential oils as it is something I'm interested in getting into!
I always bring a friction stick and bandaids with me, because I tend to get blisters at Disney, even when I'm wearing comfortable shoes.
I would say sunglasses and water are my go-to items to take with me. I almost never leave the house without something to drink, because I think keeping yourself hydrated is very important and I get thirsty a lot. Please explain essential oils, I get really stressed and this sounds like a way to help me with that.
I love your channel Amanda, by the way xx
i actually have a couple essential oils and they're vEry nice to have. certain ones help with certain things. like lavendery ones are really calming and they really work. :)
Nice to see all the videos popping back up (I watch all the other channels you guys have got going, but it's still nice to see your content back)
Definitely water! If you're anything like me, you get headaches very easily. They mostly happen when I am dehydrated. Gotta love good ol' H2O :)
I cannot go to Disneyland without my Minnie ears! They're just a must have thing whenever you go to Disneyland. I'm so happy you're making videos again Amanda 😘

Amanda looks so gorgeous in EVERY video!
Loved your video!! In my bag, I always bring a poncho, extra magic bands, and some perfume ❤️💖
Motion sickness medicine. I usually take it before the car rides, and it helps make me not as nauseous when I go on roller coasters and other rides as well. I consider it a win/win. :)
+xxSilentWinterxx I wish I brought some
:( the car rides always make me feel sick unless I'm driving 😖
Same. I'm perfectly fine as long as I'm driving, but if anyone else is, I'm sick the whole way there and back. D:
I always have to bring an extra set of clothing because my family absolutely loves going on water rides, and we tend to go on them multiple time, especially in the summer! +iAmLead awww I'm so glad that I'm in that little category of lifestyle TH-camr's that you enjoy! High compliment! 😘
4:13 what mixes were those? Can you make a video about them?
ooooh I would take my doTERRA blend of essential oils as well, equal parts of lemon, lavender, clary sage and geranium in a roller bottle with coconut oil...although stay away from the last two until you're READY to have Luna!
I know this is extremely late, in fact, a year late, but I as well have an Instax mini camera, but it's broken. We purchased many films, testing them out to see if they were the problem, but it's the camera. Films won't come out and if they do they turn out white. Thank you!
I missed your videos Amanda! Great to have you back. Would love to see a general favorites video! :)
THANK GOD IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS VIDEO FOR FOREVER
So Disneyland is in California which is where most of the roller coaster and water slides are . Disney world is in Orlando where the characters are at , the tower , and less rides ?

+Erin Whomp that is definitely an essential I always forget!
+Amanda Faye absolutely! No one thinks they need it until it's about 3 o'clock when the sun is strongest and they're getting burned. Being pale has its perks!
