Oh boy! Mickey and Minnie’s full marathon event…cannot believe it’s here after 6 months of training. Perfect weather, and awesome crowds cheering. It was the perfect race to end a perfect Goofy Challenge weekend. When can we do this again?

I didn't even notice the signs for '90s movies in mile four and Everest is my favorite roller coaster ever, but I feel fairly confident if I'd ridden it during the marathon I would've vomited. LOL Your clock time was only about 25-ish minutes after ours, so we were probably still standing over there close to the finish line when you were cheering for your sister. It seemed like some miles took forever and others just flew by. Now, looking back though, the whole race is kind of a blur. Even though it took six hours and felt like six hours when I was doing it, it doesn't really feel like it now. If I didn't have to train for a marathon, I would probably run another one. The biggest thing for me is the time commitment and effort to train, and I am not a natural athlete that can just hop out there and do it. I have to train properly. Congratulations again! So proud of you!

@@wildernessrunner210 I’m not sure yet. I usually try to do one a year (since it’s expensive to do, it’s hard for me to justify the cost of registration, trip, food, room, etc. to myself). I’ve thought about Wine & Dine this November, but I think I’m going to wait till something in 2024 because I want to try to pay quite a bit down on my Jeep. I’m thinking I may do Chickamauga in November though, if I can get myself back into running consistently anyway.
