@IKtheVS Do you think corruption is inherent to Africans? Do you understand that perhaps a lot of the shit the continent is going through has been a direct result of imperialism of the West over the past centuries? Do you know what happened when marxist leader Thomas Sankara came to power in Burkina Faso? He vaccinated millions of people, literacy rates increased by vast amounts, and 10 million trees were planted in just four years time whilst he fought for women's rights and a decent standard of living for all. He only accepted a modest military wage himself and demanded that government officials were to only travel second class on airplanes among many other things. He did that by rejecting every cent of foreign aid offered to the country. I am convinced some African countries can do just fine if the west were to leave them alone.

The Colombian mayor, the man who sailed the Atlantic to see his elderly father and the inscribed wedding rings being returned made me cry. Thank you Wendover, this is an incredible video taking a break from the C word.
Wendover specifically said about how they pretty much can’t have a list everyone agrees with. I’m sorry the world won’t recognise Taiwan, but wendover has shown they do in other videos
They don't want to be banned in the PRC do they. PS Taiwan is a country and is the rightful nation of China, but the mainland is being controlled by communists.
THIS is a brilliant idea! You should do this every year, as so many important stories go unnoticed, especially in Western media as they centre the news around the country they're from. I'd love to see this become an annual thing!
Seconded. Wendover is doing what he does best, and he does it better than anyone else could do. This is exactly the content that I love to see that you don't see a whole lot of.
Exactly. Who needs to hear about corruption or a new government when you have Mozart's violin? Big news indeed lol. Wendover clearly brings the most important news to the fron tpage.

It's such an odd thing to confuse too. Even if you didn't know that meth is an amphetamine, you'd definitely know it's a stimulant, not an opioid. Also when have you ever seen an opioid in crystal form? It's just mind boggling to me.

Hello! I’d like to clarify about the ABS-CBN shutdown in the Philippines. The media network was forced off the air by the National Telecommunications Council last May 2020 amidst the COVID-19 Pandemic (despite them promising not too), with Duterte’s Congress voting to not renew the ABS-CBN Franchise. ABS-CBN not only hires 11,000 employees throughout the Philippines but is relied on by millions of Filipinos nationwide for timely news, information, entertainment, AND even relief operations. There have been reports of residents unable to evacuate in time for typhoons ever since the shutdown. The shutdown of the network comes as Press Freedom is being attacked on all corners due to their critical coverage of Duterte’s drug war and ever growing tyrannical rule. Traditional, online, and progressive news outlets like Inquirer, Rappler, and Altermidya also face attacks from the government.
@@juannieto2559 they also didn't talk about Brexit in the UK. I think they were deliberately trying to pick lesser known stories, not just the next most important after the pandemic.
@Shotmanz Aloha. Ya know, I gather people for a good cause: I wanna provide people with Links leading to bad or toxic people. Mobber, Racists, Sexists, Bullies, more. I got the Links and i need help with reporting them. TH-cam is in a bad state and i think you heard of that. Many complain about it, its strike-system and its CEO: Susan. But... I mean... complaining about the State of the world is nice and dandy, but... how about acting? Doing something? So i made a Wiki where i store Links for all to use. You can at least pre-emptive 'block user' regarding the Racists and all those, but you can also do one thing more and report them, so YT becomes a better place. Just checking to see if anyone else caught that. Nope, methamphetamine isn't even a narcotic. Methadone is an opioid, I know sometimes when people hear that 'meth' part it can be confusing to people who aren't as familiar.
Can you do this every year, this is amazing 🙂
