Just for future reference India and the region its part of is South Asia not South East Asia.
Edit: Just lil something else. As a South Asian I find it interesting to see how youd interpret South Asian culture into a pokemon region. What I can take is most of your Devar Region is based on Indian Hindu culture aa well as Neplese and Bhutanese Hindu/Buddhist culture.
Which are very Alien to myself as British Bangladeshi Muslim and most of what I recognise from my culture is more in line with Pakistan, Afghanistan and Muslims of North India. So its kinda a learning experience for me. Tho the region doesnt feel like it rep South Asia as a whole and is more Dharmic religions inspired region.
@PragMagik one of the Pokémon if not all ready created should be a modeled based on India’s love for cricket like how cinderace replacee soccer .

Wow! I am Indian, and I LOVED THIS! Especially what you did with Hawlucha- the multiple inspirations around Garuda are on point! Even the machamp line was brilliantly handled!
I just think that you could add chittal deer inspirations for the monsoon form, but even this interpretation was so interesting to see!

As an Indonesian, I'm really happy to see a regional form with some Indonesia references just like Devharian Hawlucha and Hawruda. I'm looking forward to see more about India based pokemon🤩.
It would be sick if (hypothetically) we could see the devarian machop and timbur lines playing their respective sports in the wild when found as a group.
I really love the designs and inspirations for all of these! So well researched! You should definitely look more at the North Eastern and southern regions of India cuz they have extremely different cultures, traditions, stories, practices and also geography, history and climatic conditions! They each deserve at least one city and a few pokemon to em too! Thanks

I love all of them A LOT, but the Machamp line is just such a better version compared to the originals to me, I was never a huge fan but I would easily train Devharian one!

This video is a perfect example as to why I'm happy to be a sub. Tons of interesting references, great fanart (seriously the part where you explained the Hawlucha and Hawruda's design and origin was my favorite part because I dig mythology from around the world)

Was a little worried about a regional form for Hawlucha because of how much I love it on it’s own. But this regional form plus Hawruda sold me. Definitely adding it to my Jade team.
My favorite has to be the cricket Timburr line. We need stuff like this in the official games.
For a Fighting type pokemon I think the martial art "Kalari Payatu " would be perfect .
I think giving Lucario a regional variant of this form would be Awesome If you could do that.

Your Hawlucha/Haruda has to be one of the most perfectly matched-to-its-reference Fakemon ideas I've ever seen.
As a hardcore pokemon fan, I must agree these designs are great.

I'm still a little bummed we didn't a matador Hawlucha in Scarlet and Violet.
There's two major seasons in the philipines
1.) the rainy season, june to may
2.) the dry season, december to may
I LOVE the new Sawsbuck!
I love the subtle animations of the art. Especially in the longer/flowier elements. Really makes the art feel a bit more real and alive. It works especially well on the Breloom’s extra long ink drip because it has just the slightest hint of sideways wiggle to make it look like the ink is viscous like honey. Very good job on the concepts and the artists did fantastic! :)
Thank you & Foongoos for creating new forms for Machamp and the Conkeldurr line 🙌 I'm not a big fan of the originals, but these regional forms make me way more interested in the pokemon! Really love the Hawlucha form and evo, too. Your love for the pokemon definitely shows in the concept ideation!
LOVE that you took inspiration from Kabbadi. As an American, I only discovered it last year when I was scrolling ESPN+ but I really fell in love with it and watched the entire season and can’t wait for the next one. Great use of the Electric type for Machamp and they look super aerodynamic as raiders or defenders!

Hey PragMagik, I feel like you should also work with Indian fakemon artists too, like pokemontrainervb, etc., they can give you some ideas you might haven't thought of, also they are good drawers
I always nickname my Hawlucha Garuda and the psychic type regional variant for it looks so good. Also the sports based Pokemon look so good, especially Devharian Timburr line.
Can't wait for the next video. Devar region looks fantastic so far!

The Shroomish line regional forms are definetly my favorite out of this video. Fungi are one of my favorite things and to see another 'mon based off of them is a real pleasure. I like how you incorporated the "dripping ink" aspect into their designs and typings.
gosh dang the hawlucha form + the addition of hawruda is so freaking cool i can't get over it !! so many intricacies too, tying it multiple times over to Garuda and his associated forms + birds (as an indonesian i especially appreciated this haha) i feel like this is more well-thought out and even better designed than many og pokemon
Hi, Pragmagik! I really liked these regional forms! Devharrian Hawlucha and Shroomish made so much sense I'm a little jealous. :) No wait, I'm just impressed at how clever this is. Also, funny thing, I made a fakemon region once, and its water starter was a water snake with a pungi for a tail and poison markings and indian inspiration, just like Splasp! Guess great minds think alike, huh? :)

The Regional Machop line looks amazing
I really loved these designs.
I was thinking of making this regional variant of Machomp a fighting/psychic type,give him 6 arms instead of 4,Reddish pink skin,and maybe 3 faces to make him based on The Asura.
I love the Breloom! Breloom doesn't get enough attention, it's so cute!! Thank you for giving him some love.

pls consider fakemons (found in different parts of india) inspired from pink headed duck, asiatic lion, royal bengal tiger, peacock, lion tailed macaque, nilgiri tahr, a plant named neelakurinji which flowers in 7 years, giant flying squirrel, barahsingha, red panda, hangul deer, Fishing cat, Butterfly Fish,Indian grey Mongoose,Dugong,Musk Deer,cheetal, Spotted Deer (Jinka), Phayre’sLangur, Blackbuck, Sambhar deer, Serow, Clouded Leopard, Sangai, himalayan Snow Leopard, indian sloth bear, ghudkhur, gaur, king cobra, indian rock python, muggar crocodile(different from gharial), bengal monitor lizard, indian black panther, golden langur, honey badger, indian wolf, himalayan wolf, tibetan wolf(note these three are different variants), indian wild dog, indian jackal, Striped Hyena, Indian Civet, Himalayan brown bear, Himalayan black bear,Eurasian brown bear,Asian black bear, Kashmiri Stag, Indian palm squirrel, sun bear, chausingha, tibetan antelope, tibetan gazelle, indian muntjac, indian hog deer, caracal, eurasian lynx, pygmy hog, etc

The reason flamigo is fighting type is because flamingos standing on one leg is actually a type of yoga pose which has been featured in fighting types

On the Sandslash variant, there are some variations of sand that are compared to snow.
I *LOVE* your new Shroomish/Breyloom forms. Some of the best fakemon I've ever seen.

1-Maybe Add the pinkish flowers in the image in the deerling and sawsbuck design so its easier to tell which one is pre winter deerling and sawsbuck
I actually first learned about the Ink Cap Mushroom from 1000 Ways to Die, particularly the segment "No Fun-Gus".

I know this isnt related to the video but i needed a recent one for this comment so please excuse-
I was wondering.. with scarlet and violet introducing Armarouge (Fire/Psychic) and Ceruledge (Fire/Ghost), i pondered.. What if they had more forms too? Fire being the main type yes but rest of the typings in pokemon need their knights in shining armor, but hey just an idea :>
didnt expect hawlucha to get some love by getting a regional form and regional evolution
The Fighting/Electric regional Machamp is a definite contender for my team in this region, as I usually use at least one Fighting type and at least one Electric type, and I've always liked the Machamp line. Probably not regional Comfey, as Psychic-types are a bit lower in priority for me, but I do like regional Hawlucha. The regional Breloom might also be a contender, as I usually have either one Steel type or one Poison type on my team.
Maybe you should make a fighting type regional variant of Alakazam base on an Indian superhero.
I like how this regional machamp has the same type as it's trade evolution counterpart, alolan golem. Wonder why the trade evo (graveler giving its 4 arms to machoke, and both needing trading to evolve) wasnt mentioned? Very cool!

Flamigo is a fighting type because flamingoes engage in incredibly elaborate, flock-wide courtship dances.
If you want to make fossil pokemon you can take the near narmada river region where actually fossils were found
