The fact of the matter is, China IS supporting countries going through financial and governmental turmoil. Angola, Pakistan, and Nicaragua are some examples. An official website for their government states, "China is firmly committed to developing its relationship with Nicaragua and supporting Nicaragua's efforts to safeguard its sovereignty, independence, and national dignity and Nicaragua's independent choice of development path, and will continue to uphold justice on issues related to Nicaragua." *_Hilarious_* when you see what they have done in Hong Kong. Winston Churchill said it best. "I cannot forecast to you the action of Russia. It is a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma, but perhaps there is a key. That key is Russian national interest." Though this is speaking about Russia, the same could be said for any global power, I suppose.

But anyways I thought of it now that I’m on methadone treatment and thought (since I’m a combat veteran) what if China is literally sending this shit out to get to the US thru cartels and mail etc, to not make money since we’re trillions in debt to them anyway, but to knock us off our feet and make a huge population addicted to gent and analogs. It would create one of the biggest economic crises and security problems I could seriously think of, yeah isis, yeah kkk, yeah COVID, but get ppl addicted?? Yea that's what the British did to China as a war tactic and a way to gain another country's good and land... get em all doped up, lazy, sick, and unmotivated to do anything for any other reason than to get high is a great distraction and tactic.
During the First Opium War (1839-1842), the British government resorted to “gunboat diplomacy” to force the Chinese government to keep the ports in Shanghai, Canton and elsewhere open to trade. China ceded Hong Kong to the British in the Treaty of Nanking following the First Opium War.
      The Second Opium War
During the Second Opium War (1856-1860), the British and French joined forces against China to make the opium trade legal in China, and to extract further concessions (including the right to own property) from the Chinese emperor’s family.
Despite the European success in opening China to trade, many in Europe, China and elsewhere considered the Opium Wars-and the resulting spread of opium addiction-a villainous and immoral use of military power.

No bro, the fact is, the US is filled with a culture that promotes and encourages drug use. And Ed is a little off, since the Chinese got kicked out of Mexico in droves about a year back, they had a huge presence in port cities. Lastly, what the US populace fails to consider is that there are many narco gringos which function as independent contractors to the major cartels, funny thing is, when they get caught they rarely face jail time, they're not publicly displayed on the news, and tend to turn informant. The rise of narco gringos is a major reason why drug production has also increased stateside, and made easier through legal fronts, such as weed stores.

Weird, I can attack his faith, and I am Mexican too. Maybe not from Tijuana, but from Rosarito which at the time of my birth it was part of Tijuana. And to my knowledge, people in Tijuana are not attached to death. Those are traditions from the south of Mexico. And the Santa muerte is something that is relatively new in Mexico as in even though it has existed for many years, it was not openly admitted much less accepted within religions.
Lately, it has been mostly popularized by cartels and that sort of people.
And old case that comes to mind regarding Santa muerte and Santeria is the case of constanzo from Tamaulipas I believe, in the 80s. There are a couple of movies based on that story called "border town".

So I was stationed in San Diego in the early 2000's. I remember in 2001, post 9/11 the Federales started carrying around automatic rifles. It was part of what made me stop going down there, because like many people, I saw the police there as simply a force for extortion. I felt less safe, but I never stopped to consider that they might become more effective with better weaponry.

Ed is a class act. Note how he says he became a "subject matter guy" -he doesn't say expert. That's the humility of someone who actually is a SME.
