When my supervisor heard about it we asked him how to spell restricted and he spelt out “resticted” so we kept it like that to tease him.
Hey! I actually noticed a mistake Sheldon did about flags but I don't think anybody saw it. In ep14 of season 5, Sheldon says : "Speaking of cowboys, do you know what country has not one but two cows on its flag? The tiny landlocked nation of Andorra." But it's actually wrong. The flag of Andorra is 3 vertical stripes of color, blue, yellow and red with some kind of blazon in the center(🇦🇩). However a flag with 2 red cows and a yellow background does exist, and not so far from Andorra. It's the flag of Bearn, a former gascony kingdom in the pyrenees now belonging to France in the region of the Pyrénées-Atlantiques. You really have to live in the south west of France to know about all that. Sorry Sheldon.
Well that bob vs wiate (I've no idea how it's spelt, took a guess) could be explained as wiate being the surname and bob being the forename, it could've been the shows hint at penny's last name (prior to hofsteader)
Doesn't and Can't are two completely different words. Like Can and May. Can't is unable to do something but someone saying they don't just amounts to a conscious decision not to. It doesn't mean unable, just unwilling
in the episode where Sheldon is polishing howards belt buckles, howard says that he only has 1 belt. But in reality, I am rewatching the show and so far I have seen 5 different ones.
I'm surprised that number 1 wasn't his eidetic memory. There've been several moments where Sheldon has said something that contradicted many things he previously said, as well as times he completely forgot what other characters just said minutes earlier (often for comedic effect). There's also the time Raj claimed he couldn't speak Hindi in one episode but indicated he could in others. Plus, tying in to the eidetic memory, Sheldon speaks Hindi in one episode but in a different episode he's shown to not understand Raj when he briefly speaks Hindi.
Sheldon insist that he does not have a photographic memory, he has an eidetic memory. Look it up, it's the same thing either way. Writers usually don't care and know most people don't either.
@@chrislind2 Or better yet, rather than reading your comment and saying "Oh, it's the same thing, so I don't need to "look it up" one can *_actually_* "look it up" and realise it's *not* the same thing. I don’t know if anyone noticed but: in S10 ep9 at minute 12:56 it appears the arm of a man wearing a blue shirt and immediately hiding behind the fridge that is on the right side of the screen behind Leonard…
The dancing one doesn't make sense for being on the list. In the apartment scene with Penny he says "none of them am I dancing" with that phrasing it's to take that in any of the universes in that conversation is Sheldon dancing with Penny, that doesn't mean he can't dance
@@andrewjones575 that's my point, that's why I don't understand what it's on this list. Yes he is not currently dancing, but that doesn't mean he doesn't know how to dance
I thought this would mention things like how Sheldon once claimed that Einstein failed math, a popular myth, but just a myth and an incorrect one as Einstein was a math prodigy. But there were a couple good points brought up in this video that I'd never noticed before, like the spelling mistakes and stuff, but also a few not so good points, like the Sheldon dancing thing. Sheldon didn't like to dance, but that didn't mean he couldn't.
Hello! There is also the time where Raj and Howard compete to know which one would be the sidekick where Raj says Howard don't like showering in front of other men, and in another season Raj says that Howard needs to have some decency and stop walking around naked in the locker's room. Also during Raj's first date with the deaf Emily he says he doesn't play any instrument but when Howard prepares a song for Bernadette he asks Raj to play his ukulele and then when they're in the band footprints on the moon he plays guitar. Aaannd I probably looked this serie too many times to remember all that 😅
I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere but in S5 Ep14, in 'Fun with Flags', Sheldon says he is rattled, "But like the flag at Fort Sumter, I'm still here". This is a reference to the line in the US national anthem "And the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air, Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there". But that line was written about seeing the flag waving over Fort McHenry in Baltimore during the US War of 1812. Fort Sumter is in South Carolina and was the site of the first battle of the US Civil War.
The flaw with the first pitch is not the fact the catcher changes. It's that they don't give a microphone to the guy who throws the first pitch. Every single first pitch happens with a short PA announcement and nobody pays attention to the guy who throws it. It's hard to keep track of continuity, especially when the series is in the infancy. Maybe Penny was protecting her dad's identity in season 2. After all her brother was in jail selling meth. Maybe Bob/Wyatt was an operative for the "I need a need a new dust filter for my Hoover Max guy." It explains why a Cheese Factory waitress can afford rent on 1 bedroom apartment in Pasadena, while a world renown physicist at Cal Tech needs a roommate. BTW- the average salary for a Theoretical Physicist is $197,000 per year. Sheldon is not average, so he probably makes more than that. Leonard is clearing $150k. Penny is making about $30k as a Cheesecake Factory waitress. Obviously dad had to help, but Bob/Wyatt was a farmer in Omaha (with a son who sold meth)..
The last one about Superman is not a mistake. Sheldon was trying to express a real Physics problem of what would have happened if a Superman with "arms of Steel" was to catch a falling human. He does not take into account that Superman can slow himself to lessen the impact.
Watch the Superman scene again. You can see Superman fly up, but then fly down (swoop?) to match her speed. They are both moving downward as he catches her.
I wouldn't call Sheldon and Amy saying they don't / can't dance/ ice skate and then doing those things a continuity problem, becasue the problem just say those things because they didn't want to be forced to go dance / ice skate by their friends 🤷♀️
there are many more (small) mistakes; the one that now comes to mind is in the restroom at the university; Howard gives Sheldon a cookie ( don't remember the episode) with his hand; Sheldon would never eat something which was given to him by hand.
not to mention Christopher Lloys playing a guy Sheldon rented his room to and Sean Austin playing a scientist while both of them are mentioned multiple times in the series being actors who played Doc and Sam from LOTR
He said he doesnt dance, not that he cant dance. He does so begrudgingly when he actually does. That works. He loosens up as time goes by in the series so it fits.
This makes sense. Penny's father's name is actually both Bob and Wyatt. First name Robert, last name Wyatt. Men generally get referred to their last name. Thus the mystery of Penny's maiden name has finally been cracked. It is Wyatt, Pentalope/Penelope Wyatt is then Penny's full name.
It 8:2, Howard and Sheldon get into a big argument to establish dominance. They both confuse strength with stiffness, the two most basic terms in structural engineering. Steel is strong and stiff. Rubber is strong and flexible. A biscuit is weak and stiff, while the jelly on it is weak and flexible.
Sheldon says he DOESNT dance......not that he doesnt know how to dance or CANT dance. it is not the same thing. your writers need to get better at comprehension
Another mistake is that in one episode (i can't recall which one) Sheldon mentions that his grandfather was the one who inspired him to pursuit physics. However, on his Nobel award speech he thanked all his family but his grandfather.
"The pilot" penny is sitting in Sheldon's spot, he is sitting at the other end if the couch having a conversation with them and not saying a word about his spot, leonard is sitting In the easy chair, huge mess up since Sheldon would go insane about his spot.
To be fair on the dancing front with Sheldon and Amy Sheldon does many things he said he never would to make her happy. Same with Amy. She does all kinds of things to keep Sheldon happy probably why she went ice skating.
There's an episode in Season 1, I think, where Penny threatens to destroy property of Sheldon's, and Sheldon goes "That's blackmail." BUT IT'S NOT! That's actually extortion. Blackmail is ONLY threatening to expose personal information about someone, but it is a kind of extortion, which also covers things like destruction of property.
Re the Wyatt versus Bob, the father could be Wyatt Robert, because my late father was Henry Reginald but was always known as Reg, so I don't see anything wrong that supposed mistake.
@Christopher Bingham You keep saying that to make it seem like you know what you’re talking about. And yes it was rumoured that it could be but it was never confirmed. All it is, is a rumour.
@Christopher Bingham Yes I’m aware of that. But that’s still not official. It could be another Bob vs Wyatt thing. Why do you think they kept avoiding saying her last name every time it came up. Because Teller was not her official name.
@@christopherbingham5092an executive producer (Steve Molaro) said that it was a random name chosen by the propmaster (Scott London) for the sole purpose of being able to print a realistic looking label for the show…the name ‘Teller’ was never supposed to be seen by the audience and isn’t Penny’s official surname - it isn’t canon. Previously Scott had been using his own surname ‘London’ for the label in early prop designs The decision was made by the show to never reveal her maiden name so there is no surname for Penny that is canon other than ‘Hofstadter’ (once she marries Leonard)
Sounds like Watch Mojo made a continuity error when they said that Sheldon said Lois was caught two feel of the ground, when he actually said she fell at a rate of 32 feet per second per second. He never said anything about 2 feet off the ground.
The penny's dad name i can understand as my grandad was called Albert but people called him tom which was from his last name (thompson) maybe wyatt is his last name
What about Episode 13 Season 1 when Raj speaks without being drunk, catches himself, and Penny turns around (I guess look at the director or whomever) and Sheldon continues talking
I have one (sorry i forgot the season and ep) When penny and Leonard go to Switzerland And then when penny sneezed Leonard said bless you (In Switzerland) and then said or in Switzerland (Bless you in Switzerland) and that still confuses Me to this day.
"The first pitch insufficiency" you did show a different catcher, one without gear, and the wide shot he had the gear on, the one thing you didn't notice was at first he is wearing a red jersey then white, then red again, these are the at home jerseys colors, away jerseys are usually darker.
In the episode where Sheldon has to add in the rule he must be nice to Howard in the contract, Leonard points out that he too should have a rule that Sheldon has to be nice to him. Sheldon then asks him “do you still like cilantro?” And Leonard responds yes. But in an earlier season when Sheldon was a “waitress” at the Cheesecake Factory, Leonard asked him questions about his food Sheldon style, and asked if Sheldon left out the cilantro, indicating he didn’t like it and didn’t want it on his food…
There is also a scene when Howard is cleaning the kitchen with Raj and Stuart, that he tries to take out the trash and all the trash spills on the floor, there are several eggs in the trash pile that should’ve busted when they hit the ground, but were instead just rolling around, fully intact lol.
@@Anastasia-mw2bzI don’t think the bit with the eggs is a mistake…Howard is a pretty short guy and is holding the bag in his hand about waist-height when it rips open at the bottom and the garbage falls/rolls onto the floor. Eggs wouldn’t necessarily break falling such a short distance to the ground…you have to give them a pretty solid whack to crack the shell when you use them to eat/cook so I don’t think they’d splat and break completely just falling a few inches to the floor. Especially as they were in amongst other rubbish which would buffer the landing somewhat 🤷♀️ The real question is who puts whole eggs in the garbage anyways 😅

You should fix your number one because that's not a mistake if you watch further back you would see that Sheldon is forming a hypothesis about this episode movie whatever it is obviously Lois Lane is not going to be ripped to three pieces. See Sheldon is saying how is she not ripped into three pieces since he's made of steel kind of thing questioning not saying it happened two different things. FYI I know nothing about Superman but I knew enough to understand what was happening here so, that's sad that you guys didn't
The one episode that REALLY bugs me is Season 7, episode 3 "The Scavenger Vortex" for the ONE OBVIOUS reason. THAT IS NOT A SCAVENGER HUNT!!!!!!!! A scavenger hunt is when you receive a huge list of items, each worth varying points. The easy to get mundane items are worth a few points, while harder to get, very bizarrely specific items are worth mega points. You run around in different directions, acquiring any item at any point, and arrive at a pre-set location before a designated time. The first group to arrive DOES NOT always win; rather, the team with the most acquired points wins the game. Movies depicting scavenger hunts include "Scavenger Hunt", "My Man Godfrey", and "Sleepover". A treasure hunt is when you receive a cryptic clue, must solve it correctly to proceed to the next spot, where you will receive your next cryptic clue to the next location. Remember that movie "Midnight Madness??" Raj should have known the difference between them, and Sheldon should have pointed out that he was wrong, and refused to play until he admitted it.
Regarding Penny’s dad’s name, my Granddad was always called Sam. His name was James Edward. Why? He once had a dog named Sam. Somehow he became Sam. I’m not sure how that happened, but that was the only explanation we were ever given.
According to Collins Dictionary, Fashion means the quality of being strong or spirited. And Merriam Webster Defines it as a variant of FOISON which means -physical energy or strength. Maybe 🤔 it's a derivative of that
You are missing a major mistake in Series 5 Episode 24 when Sheldon tells Howard that he spent $88 on his wedding gift and yet Howard has given him a gift of a comic book worth $100 so Sheldon then gives Howard $12 back, but that now leaves Howard having spent $88 and Sheldon having now spent $100. In order that they spend the same amount, Sheldon should have only given Howard $6 back, ie both having spent $94. This is a major error for a math genius…
Doesn’t dance doesn’t mean he can’t dance. Because if memory does me correct, Penny dancing was early on before Amy. So... some of these things are just leaps on your part and one is not using English correctly. But I love the trouble word play with no R. That was cute! And the stuff I was looking for. Pointing out Bob was funny mistake too. Still, 👍
Howards mom is super protective, yet she let him go to study on the other side of country at MIT. How is that possible, no chance they could be seperated for that long. My biggest plot hole.
The Superman one makes sense. When initially creating Superman, he could LEAP over the tallest building.(meaning strong legs from the ground) that is why Superman comes from below. When did he get the ability to fly?
Despite attempts to defend Sheldon, he did make a mistake about Superman as Superman did not swoop down to save Ms.Lane. MsMojo made their own mistake as Sheldon never said anything about being 2 feet above the ground when he catches her. If you tell me MsMojo did the math, please show your work.
With respect to the heroin addict comment--it actually makes perfect sense; heroin addicts are prone to have dilated pupils when coming off the drug because of rebound effects. So if she was implying either he was attracted to Penny or he was jonesing, it works fine.
How did they miss this one? In the episode where they are planning to spend three months at the MAGNETIC North Pole. They meant the GEOGRAPHIC North Pole as the magnetic pole is constantly moving. The geographic pole is stationary.
Mayim Bialik, a PhD holder, who portrays the PhD character Amy, mentions in one episode 'Menstrual synchrony' (with Penny), a phenomenon that has not been scientifically proven to exist.
So in other words no matter how much you pay an actor they can't manage to tell a writer that so and so was called by a different name already?? Sounds lame to me.
What's funny is that Johnny Galecki was on _Roseanne._ His name was "Kevin". When he appeared the second time and thereafter (as _the_ _same_ _character),_ his name is "David". His middle name is later revealed to be "Horace". Apparently, he was also on _Billy_ at the time as a character named "David" and Roseanne Barr wanted him to be called "David" on _Roseanne_ as well, hence the character's name change. More than likely, someone watching the programme weekly wouldn't realise that "David" used to be "Kevin". Likewise, someone watching an episode daily as reruns (syndication) might not realise it either. But if someone is watching several episodes in a row from DVD, NetFlix, whatever, they're likely to say, "David? I thought he was Kevin earlier."
Maybe Wyatt is Penny’s dad’s middle name. My dad goes by his middle name. But then if he goes by his middle name there be no reason to shorten it to Bob. Hmm. Maybe Wyatt is his last name, and that would finally solve the mystery of what Penny’s last name is.
it sounded like Sheldon was describing the realistic version of that Lois and Superman scene, ie he was trying to be sarcastic. it makes sense cuz if you are a long-time fan of a franchise, you'll eventually make a quip like that towards newbies or non-fans, cuz you're testing their knowledge about the topic.
Th dancing one really isn’t a mistake. He said he doesn’t dance not that he can’t. And as the show progressed & Sheldon evolved, he did a lot of things he refused to do before. Especially for Amy.
Yeah, generally when someone doesnt do something. Its because they dont want to not that they are unable
I came here to say the same thing!
He read about it in a book. It worked for Einstein.
He danced in season one with the group of older women Howard brought them to hang out with as well.
It simply means he doesn’t like to

So cool!
The blazon in the middle has 2 cows in it, so Sheldon is right
Well that bob vs wiate (I've no idea how it's spelt, took a guess) could be explained as wiate being the surname and bob being the forename, it could've been the shows hint at penny's last name (prior to hofsteader)
The characters evolved from the beginning.
Knowing that photographic and eidetic memory aren't the same thing (hence the 2 different terms), I looked it up and verified that I wasn't mistaken about their not being the same thing.
But he does dance.
@@andrewjones575 that's my point. In the scene they're referring to he doesn't because he doesn't want to, that doesn't mean he can't
@@AntiHeroSora He says that in none of the infinite universes is he dancing. That contradicts the fact that we see him choose to dance & enjoy it.
Sheldon didn't like to dance, but that didn't mean he couldn't.
it also could be that wyatt was the father's last name (that he shares with penny). that would finally solve the "penny's last name mistery".
@Christopher Bingham They should have made her middle initial N. Penny N Teller. Penn and Teller the magicians.
This is a reference to the line in the US national anthem "And the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there".
Fushion is not spelled incorrectly on Sheldon's board, the word "fushion" regards to someone who has strong qualities or is highly spirited.
1) Fusion is spelt fusion, he meant fusion
2) spelt is spelt, spelt.
3) this is English, fushion is not a word in English
I think Wyatt is actually his surname and Bob is his given name, which would make Penny's last name Wyatt before she married Leonard
@Christopher Bingham Oh? What makes you say that, I don’t think I ever remember that name.
I think his name is Robert Wyatt.. just a guess 😆
@Christopher Bingham and? Many people go by their middle name. Your comment doesn’t change anything.
The last one about Superman is not a mistake. Sheldon was trying to express a real Physics problem of what would have happened if a Superman with "arms of Steel" was to catch a falling human. He does not take into account that Superman can slow himself to lessen the impact.
Well done!
People watch the shows for entertainment and enjoyment... Not to nit pick them apart and look for stuff that is wrong...
Watch the Superman scene again. You can see Superman fly up, but then fly down (swoop?) to match her speed. They are both moving downward as he catches her.
wow! didn't notice any of these. now i wanna rewatch the show & see if i can spot them.
Should do a few TOP 10 2 Broke Girls
I can't imagine that happening on here. It's a very funny sitcom but too politically incorrect for them to praise it.
I miss these guys❤
Wyatt’s middle name is Robert, hence “Bob”.
not to mention Christopher Lloys playing a guy Sheldon rented his room to and Sean Austin playing a scientist while both of them are mentioned multiple times in the series being actors who played Doc and Sam from LOTR
It wasn't until the last episode that I realized they never gave us Penny's last name.
Sheldon said he doesn't dance not I don't know how to dance there's a difference so that's not a mistake
Top 10 Mistakes That Were Left In DreamCorp LLC
Sheldon says he DOESNT dance......not that he doesnt know how to dance or CANT dance. it is not the same thing. your writers need to get better at comprehension
Funny 😂
Another mistake is that in one episode (i can't recall which one) Sheldon mentions that his grandfather was the one who inspired him to pursuit physics.
However, on his Nobel award speech he thanked all his family but his grandfather.
"The pilot" penny is sitting in Sheldon's spot, he is sitting at the other end if the couch having a conversation with them and not saying a word about his spot, leonard is sitting In the easy chair, huge mess up since Sheldon would go insane about his spot.
I believe there is also another Jena game where the pieces go forward and then back in time as well. This would regular jena.. ;0)
Or Robert Wyatt
Previously Scott had been using his own surname ‘London’ for the label in early prop designs
The decision was made by the show to never reveal her maiden name so there is no surname for Penny that is canon other than ‘Hofstadter’ (once she marries Leonard)
You should make a video just on the mistakes of video games and board games the TBBT screenwriters have made.
Sounds like Watch Mojo made a continuity error when they said that Sheldon said Lois was caught two feel of the ground, when he actually said she fell at a rate of 32 feet per second per second. He never said anything about 2 feet off the ground.
We dropped a rap explaining the big bang theory, but the actual they'll ieri not the show 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🤘
He said he is not dancing he doesn't say he can't
But he does dance.
I have one (sorry i forgot the season and ep)
When penny and Leonard go to Switzerland
And then when penny sneezed Leonard said bless you
(In Switzerland) and then said or in Switzerland
(Bless you in Switzerland) and that still confuses
Me to this day.
Especially as they were in amongst other rubbish which would buffer the landing somewhat 🤷♀️
The real question is who puts whole eggs in the garbage anyways 😅
Also, in shot from stands, catcher has on an all white uniform. Then next shot from behind home plate, he has on a red shirt and white pants.
Poor Narrator!
what do you mean?
#5... the home stadium was in dodger stadium not the angles home stadium. so the uniform of the catcher should have been Dodger Blue.

@Christopher Bingham Wow.
A treasure hunt is when you receive a cryptic clue, must solve it correctly to proceed to the next spot,
where you will receive your next cryptic clue to the next location.
Remember that movie "Midnight Madness??"
Raj should have known the difference between them, and Sheldon should have pointed out that he was wrong,
and refused to play until he admitted it.
Regarding Penny’s dad’s name, my Granddad was always called Sam. His name was James Edward. Why? He once had a dog named Sam. Somehow he became Sam. I’m not sure how that happened, but that was the only explanation we were ever given.
In item number 5 the catcher also changes uniforms from a red jersey to a white and back to a red.

Feel like Mojo should have done more research on this list
Doesn’t dance doesn’t mean he can’t dance. Because if memory does me correct, Penny dancing was early on before Amy. So... some of these things are just leaps on your part and one is not using English correctly. But I love the trouble word play with no R. That was cute! And the stuff I was looking for. Pointing out Bob was funny mistake too. Still, 👍
Howards mom is super protective, yet she let him go to study on the other side of country at MIT. How is that possible, no chance they could be seperated for that long. My biggest plot hole.
She went with him?
Resticted 😂😅🤣
Re the Robert/Wyatt thingy. My father's given name was Lauren, second name William and then surname. He went by Andy, his grandfather's given name.
how about the scene where he tells Penny his house fell off the cinder blocks again?
He said that he doesn’t dance not that he can’t
That wasn’t the superman feat sheldon was talking about!
There’s another in the desert or something i dont quite remember
The older i get and i watch more of Big Bang Theory i understand a lot of the adult jokes
Mayim Bialik, a PhD holder, who portrays the PhD character Amy, mentions in one episode 'Menstrual synchrony' (with Penny), a phenomenon that has not been scientifically proven to exist.
Watchmojo making a list of top 10 mistakes, but making like 15.
There's a difference between I don't dance and I can't dance
Well the dance one isn’t a mistake, he said he doesn’t dance, not that he couldn’t!
So in other words no matter how much you pay an actor they can't manage to tell a writer that so and so was called by a different name already?? Sounds lame to me.
The actors often won't know & they say what they're paid to. It's the writers who are at fault for changing names.
But how does he know, he's not dancing in the other universes. Or for that matter, he's a clown made of candy
He says he doesn't dance. not that he can't. And he wasn't describing the Superman movie....wow
3:07: Maybe its his second name
Maybe Wyatt is Penny’s dad’s middle name. My dad goes by his middle name. But then if he goes by his middle name there be no reason to shorten it to Bob. Hmm. Maybe Wyatt is his last name, and that would finally solve the mystery of what Penny’s last name is.
Bob is his first name. Wyatt is their last name. Penny's maiden name😮
it sounded like Sheldon was describing the realistic version of that Lois and Superman scene, ie he was trying to be sarcastic. it makes sense cuz if you are a long-time fan of a franchise, you'll eventually make a quip like that towards newbies or non-fans, cuz you're testing their knowledge about the topic.
Some people don't understand humour. I mean, come on...he says "Miss Lane is sliced into three equal pieces". MsMojo obviously didn't get the joke.
