Gorgeous video as always, the chance to go mushing with the dogs is wonderful, we got to see them in Tromso when we were there, but, it was summer so no dog sledding. I like your little new friend, the 6 inch snowman.

Now the fire-breathing dragon makes sense-I never thought about that. Breathtaking scenery and great filming! Can’t believed how calm and quiet the dogs were as you made your way through the dogsled camp. Looked like a great ride! Sorry your last two ports were canceled, but what gorgeous scenery.
Have just watched the sled dog run and am thanking you for every minute of it. We are doing a similar Viking cruise later this year and I’m praying there is a similar excursion, although it won’t be on snow sadly. Thank you so muchfor sharing!

OMG the Husky are such a beautiful dog. that would of been an amazing experience. glad the dogs did their business before they got up to speed!!!!😮😮the northern lights science observatory is a cool place. i keep on saying this but Norway is so beautiful and amazing. very pretty and great for taking photos of the wonderful landscape. i would of loved to listened in on that science lecture and have a debate about it afterwards with you. thank you for taking us along with you in experiencing the wonders of Norway

Thank you, Lori! Regarding the cold, we are from SoCal, and felt comfortable with the gear (layers, thermal undershirts); so, you should be fine if you also take similar layered type of clothing. Yes, with the right clothing, it was definitely manageable.
Hi Kathleen. By ‘they’, I want to make the assumption that you are referring to Viking. If so, there is no gear sold or lent; this was a Viking Ocean, not Viking Expedition (we have been on them as well, which is also on our channel, a Caribbean itinerary). During the dog sledding, the boots and the “cold-weather throw over ‘suit’ specific to the sledding are lent by the facility there, not the cruise line; you can see the changing room in one of the scenes. Beyond basic outerwear, you should bring your own jackets and clothing, specifically in layers are highly recommended!

Thank you, I will ask a staff member when we revisit. There were signs a few weeks ago, and we were sitting quite near the operator at the back, so I felt I couldn't - I'm an obeyer! Cannot wait to go back there, it was thrilling. And thanks again for the videos, so useful. Now I'm looking at GoPros to film the husky sled ride.
No shortage of salmon; some halibut as I recall, and tuna I believe. I’m certain there was a large variety but nothing else for certain comes to mind. Beyond this particular type of entrée question, how are you enjoying the scenery and filming??
