I've recently finished this game, including all the season DLC's. The graphics, engine sounds, damage models and variety of cars is exceptional It's a solid game to play. Around the 12 minute mark in this video, you described the exact problem with this game. There is no content. It is straight up circuit racing. No drift events like in the original series or drag. While there are time attack modes, those are still normal circuit racing and the game itself takes way too long to complete. While you can turn it down and listen to your own music, still. Grid Legends looks to liven things up by introducing different types of race events.
Wrong. You must think we were born yesterday. It's impossible to finish tuning 1 race car 🏎. What planet do you come from? Did you really finish racing cars? You're crazy. Nobody believes you. Maybe you should take over Ford and build cars for us.
I’ve never played a Grid game. After watching this I might consider downloading and playing it. Your review was solid and can tell you took your time with it! Can’t wait to see what else you’ll review
Hi Luis, If your looking at giving GRID a go, i'd highly recommend the original Grid (2008). That game was so ahead of it's time and I feel none of the later installments were able to capture the same feeling the first game did. It has aged now, being a 14 year old game but, if you want a great experience definatley pick up a copy if you can. GRID 2019 is an empty game. Its gets boring very quickly. The best part of the entire game is the car sounds but that doesn't make up for literally 2 event types - Circuit racing or time attack. I'm still trying to finish the singleplayer because it doesnt keep me hooked for long enough. I hope GRID Legends can offer more variety.
Did you try it? I'm back at it trying to finish off career mode. It's so good with a wheel (on strongest force feedback) codemasters made a game that's arcade fun yet makes so much sense at 900 degree steering . G2019 with all DLC and updates, is data I'm gonna keep.
Thank you. Good game, a lot of fun. I am usually a Rally player ( DiRT and the WRC series.) This game has always provided a great break . Easily accessible , Tweakable enough to get enjoyable racing.
None of the recent games compare to race driver grid. That game was so much fun. Races felt like a battle but in the best way and the damage model in the original was way better. The ai was awesome! Nothing more satisfying than a competitor getting a blowout on the last lap and you snatching victory. I've never quite understood why developers don't innovate, instead they've watered this one down. All we can do is hope the next one gets back to what made it great. Enjoyed your video!
You're wrong. You, and everyone else disowned the product. It was a time waste getting smashed off the track for no benefit. You didn't learn anything from getting smashed out of the race. They kept over braking every time, for corners. It was stupid. The AI still smashes me out of the race. It doesn't matter what I do. A car always appears out of nowhere and spins your car into the wall. 60% of the extras must be disabled so you can complete a race.
@@Gma7788 you seriously need some training how to predit the ai goes and how you do on your attitude. These kind of attitude would mostly mess up your race if you didnt fix it. Even i try to challenge the difficuilty sometimes it can be harsh and everything smashed out. and thats why i limit to simplar difficuilty try to set up the perferences unless trying to upgrade yourself into a new level.
I loved this game, including all the DLC. Had it at launch. Massive career, and 3 seasons of DLC. For me what killed this game is lack of cross play for the multiplayer side of things. And also I think because the TH-cam Sim Racing community hated on the game, as it is more an arcade racer. And the sheep followed. And the same thing happened with Project Cars 3. Another great arcade racer.
@@BoostedTV This indeed is what's going on. People rather want to call themselves sim racer than arcade racer. Same happened with PC3 which is a great game as well but suffered from the same dumb bashing.

It takes a lifetime to tune 1 race car 🏎. The real men have taken over the TH-cam comments section from you sick individuals.
@@BoostedTV i dont know man but this year forward would be even worst. Most people having a serious flow wanting to get more abot the level of sim racing. Nowadays every time the new game released, most streamers would play it and eventually ended up worst by not playing it unless the game itself is good, thats no doubt or even thsoe streamers love it and push it. All are depending on player's profile as if they like it or not.
I actually love this game, finished it on my PS4, and bought it for PC as well! It's what I call a simcade, and it's fun as hell! Can't wait for the new one actually, let's just hope it won't fail! (For me it wasn't a fail though)! The Sound is insanely awesome!
@@BoostedTV haha Simcade i think is actually a term! Hummm they didn't have drift on the previous one? Although not Drift races you could get massive points for it! Crossplay is gonna be mixed feels because of score cheaters (they will always exist unfortunately) , but oh well, just some more days
@@mrperalta82 it is, I'm an NFS main so this game is much easier for me to enjoy than a full on sim like rFactor2. To me those are very bland and hard to learn without hundreds of hours of dedication. I wanna race for the enjoyment of racing, not improving IRL driving skillz
@@MaxRamos8 rFactor and the likes are good IF you have the hardware, like wheel & pedals setup, for controller, i just... can't! To keep a racing game alive you need strong online game modes. Grid2 was the most played grid online, it has custom servers with hardcore damage (no flashback, and the car can be totalled), Grid 2019 has no custom server, just quick races.
Always loved the series. I can remember playing the early TOCA titles on PS2 many years ago. And being an Aussie, naturally love the V8 Supercars. I’ve currently gone back and playing my way through 2014’s Grid Autosport, and enjoying it. I really hope that Legends does well…pre-ordered it soon as I saw it on the Xbox store. Fun channel mate, just discovered it 👍
I recently started with Grid Legends thru Game Pass and it slowly grew on me, to the point of me buying the Deluxe Version! And although Grid 2019 is also available to me.....and your review of it was informative BTW.....maybe I'll try it down the line but it's already hard finding people to play online in LEGENDS, so I don't think there's any hope for that on Grid 2019 at this point
My 2 cents; 1.) I love the "random" mode in free race. Its a small feature but it nails the point. 2.) Lap Multiplikator in Career mode - its necessary to have.
I don't care if no one played GRID 2019. I can show you some proof that someone played GRID 2019. KuruHS played it, so did Reiji, along with ISAD (ISuckAtDriving). Even Throneful (KVG) has played it. And also Deoxide. You need to check out one of their videos. They played GRID 2019 before.
Edit about curbs: They are possible to manage with enough experience. It's not the curb that causes a spinout, but accelerating or steering too strongly while passing over them. Take it easy while on curbs. Flat curbs generally don't cause issues, it's mainly the raised curbs to look out for I absolutely love Grid 2019! I played the campaign twice taking 1st in all events--first on medium, then on very hard. After all that, I finally started playing online. There are some regulars I race with on a daily basis. Swapping tips on vehicle tuning and assist settings has helped me get faster. If someone is faster than you, just talk to them about their settings. Chances are they will be happy to talk about it. Aside from the campaign events and online racing, there is free play. There one can choose which of the 27 car classes to compete with on the 99 different available routes. Each has its own leaderboard with global lap times. So if the AI is too easy, try pushing a car to its limits and go for a world record lap time. There is a lot of fun to be had in getting the best the lap time you can. When playing against the AI one can crash and otherwise play sub-optimally and still finish in first place. For a world record lap time however, you really must take your performance to the next level. The difficulty curve does not stop after beating the AI on very hard. I found Grid 2019 fun from the first playthrough, but I found it gets more enjoyable as I get more skillful. One cool thing about the game that gives it a unique identity is the live commentary with Kristen and Alex as well as your race engineer. It's kind of cheesy sometimes, but I like it. I think a younger me might not have appreciated it as much, but I'm old enough to where I can really enjoy it. Something I'd like to see in a future Grid is more classic cars from the 30s-80s. There are a couple 60s cars and a handful of 70s and 80s cars in Grid 2019. I'd have really liked an event with pre-war cars, as well as 50s and 60s cars. Most of the cars in Grid are 21st century models. I enjoy watching Goodwood Revival races on youtube featuring classic cars, and when watching that, I think more classic disciplines should be part of the Grid World Series
Thanks for taking the time to comment on my video. Yes! I agree, time trials and going for records is super fun. I am beginning to see there is a community for that. I saw a lot of people complained about the live commentary but I find it pretty cool and helpful at times. Thanks for watching
As someone whose childhood was race driver: grid I'm most likely biased. Yet I feel like the new grid titles could be so much more interesting with team & sponsor management, buying cars to enter disciplines, and signing different teammates. Earning experience to get licenses which dictate what events you can enter, and having your team's growth visually represented (like your garage as the menu background improving over time) would also help make the progression feel worthwhile.
Yea I agree, game devs nowadays Forgot how to do progression in games lol Also, if you comment on my recent video you’re automatically entered to win a free copy of Grid: Legends 💪
grid on NINTENDO SWITCH is awesome but not for everyone.. its super impresive to have on the go alot of poeple forget the SWITCH is the first of its kind a hybrid console! great video.. ive put in almost 200 hours on grid and its maybe 70% finnished in campian
Honestly it felt like a total stripped down version of GRID Autosport. Gone was Elimination mode, drift, drag, checkpoint. Autosport was a great starting point but this... felt empty.
Really enjoyed this video. I played Grid '19; just last night for the first time. I played the original 2008 Grid a few times through, and loved it. Grid 2, for me, was ok. I never played Grid: Autosport, so I was hesitant to play Grid 2019... but Game Pass+, so why the hell not. So far it's ok, just about 4 races into carrer mode, but willing to put some time in. Great upload, it makes me want to dive in more, and see whst it has to offer. Thank you for the video. jwts...the drifting was a complete blast in Race Driver: Grid '08.

I agree with everything you said. I prefer Grid games because of their physics and damage model. I love the handling compared to other racers, but content and customization is severely lacking.
It's in a no-man's land. I think there was previously a decent market for those "grounded" arcade games (the original GRID and NFS Shift are two examples), but I think nowadays most gamers that are into track racing will have some kind of wheel and pedals set, at which point it makes sense to want to play something more like a simulator. For that reason, I don't expect Grid Legends to do any better tbh.
I'm a fan of racing games for years now but i never liked wheels and pedals and probably never will i always played on gamepad not everyone like racing wheels or extreme sim games
Haha same for me. Although Grid 1 was soooo ahead of it’s time. Also I’m running a giveaway on my most recent video where I go over Eveything You Need To Know about Grid:Legends. If you comment on that video you’re automatically entered to win a free copy next week 💪. Thanks for the comment
"Forza Horizon 5 literally rewards you for driving in a straight line." LOL, we literally need that in the Philippines, my home country, where drivers are allergic to sticking to their own lane!!.
Same here. I did not know there was a Grid 2019 - STEAM does not even provide the game. I do have Grid Autosport and Grid 2. So I am back into winter racing and searched the store for new games. I then found Grid Legends and F1-22 on sale right now. So purchased both of them. Tried both of them for about 30 minutes each just to get the controllers and gameplay setup. I find both of them interesting and good entertainment for me. I am also not an expert in Grid or F1. F1-22 has VR and Grid Legends does not, but I think I can try and use VORPX for the Grid game. Thanks for your video. Take care.
Just downloaded it on Game Pass last week. I like it! Its easier to get the hang of than most racing games. Good selection of cars, nice track selection, easy to figure out how to drive different cars. Other than a few glitches and bugs I think its a pretty solid arcade/sim. Having a lot of fun on the single player campaign.
:O I play this game ALOT just wish the freeroam actually had an easy way to chose which car to choose instead of a preset of car lists. Haven't touched MP yet but SP is fun.
Every review I've seen (including this one) of this game thinks the driving model is weird. I think it's absolutely perfect in many ways. It's so exaggerative, exhilarating and punishing. It's one of the only racing games where I will legitimately crash because the cars are so slippery and I love it so much! :> I would rather have all the cars be uncontrollable and force you to pay attention then have all of them feel dull and boring like forza can sometimes And the feel of speed is SO GOOD Forza looks so slow compared to this game I play on Xbox with a controller and I find that a high sensitivity, hard difficulty, 9 laps, stiff tuning and the lowest assists you can tolerate gives me the most rewarding driving experience. I am very biased towards this game because I think handing model is the most important thing in a racing game and I love it so much I would put this games handling up with burnout paradise and art of rally which are some of my favorites Good arcade racing games are a dying breed and I'm very glad that this one exists (also if you like this you might like art of rally, but it's more difficult then this game I believe and it's on game pass ) If the driving feels weird to you in any game it helps to learn about car physics, tuning, and playing with the assists. Just like fps games the more time you put into racing games and learning how to get better the more rewarding it will be
You and I play the game very similarly. I typically don’t play with any assists on whatsoever and in cockpit or hoodcam. Makes for a very visceral experience I agree.
The previous TOCA games had a storymode that gave the game more character & personality. This particular GRID feels a bit lifeless without it. I am hoping that GRID LEGENDS will bring that spark back to this series and that crossplay will be enabled as well as some serious polishing to the visuals.
I play this game, I own them all. Played it on this game on the 05/02/2022 which was yesterday. I play it mostly on my Ps4 on my Logitech G923 Trueforce Playstation wheel. Also have it on xbox but don't play it on there that much because I'm not using a wheel.
Good video. I recently started playing Grid for the 1st time on Game Pass and I think it's very good. To me it seems like a spiritual successor to PGR3/4 which is my favorite racer next to FH3-5 & FM7. I think the game looks amazing. I just think the car's in Grid feel and sound a little slow compared to Forza. Forza looks and plays fast and sounds fast and that's where it counts IMO.
I like Grid 2019 cause im a fan but the the game definitely has nothing to offer among others like gtsport or forza, such a simcade game should offer much more content to hold on a player to compete with these games, but i think it would be hard to deal with these games. So i believe there 2 ways for the game, first is to make it a sim so lack of content is not a problem in this case but in this field there is a competition too. But the other is to return back to roots which is the real deal. The 1st grid was a unique game with its entertaining career, superior damage system and variety of rare modes such as togue, freestyle and battle drift and 24h lemans. All these things made the game really authentic and outstanding. The returning of old damage system will cause small amount of cars because of licences for sure, but the authencity of the game returns which is most important to outstand from current row of racing games and to interest a player
Great vid, new sub! Honestly, I was really underwhelmed from a pure content perspective when it came to Grid 2019, so I never bought it or played it! The thing is, four letter racing games by the same developer have to have some distinguishing factors, and at the time, this did not have that. Eventually, dirt 5 dropped and set itself apart, grid hasn’t done that in a very crowded market. That said, I am very much so looking forward to Grid Legends here in the next few weeks. It has seemed to correct the content issue, and appears to bring something unique to the table! Good luck with the channel!
Thanks for the feedback! I really appreciate it! But yea, that’s the thing Devs don’t innovate anymore. I’m also running a giveaway for Grid Legends, all you have to do is just comment on it.
I prefer Grid Legends. I think Grid lacks any kind of personality. I own all the Grid game & some Toca games too been with the series for a while. I agree Grid is more about the racing than the cars. Great video 👍
Each Grid game has the same and that is Lack of content. I feel that Grid games not having a modding community is what ruined the whole franchise lol, Once a Humble cloudy Grahpics Classic Racing game to generic Arcade racing game. Grid 2008 really paved the way for racing games and was one of the most realistic "SIM" racing games back in the day but now It can't keep up with the Competition that it had created . Not releasing Good DLC after the games launch is what killed it now they want to do it all over again... sorry for the long comment but I am a classic grid 2008 fan I am thinking of making a video about grid games to lol, great video man :)
bought the ultimate edition for 10€ on xbox sx and am really enjoying it with the Logitech g923 Trueforce feature, so far the best trueforce experience (compared to acc and fm 7)
I play Grid 2019 with a Thrustmaster T300 RS GT. It feels awesome, the driving experience is great. I feel it's too aggressive & also requires some understanding of how to handle the car in turns & navigate through the crowd of aggressive ai drivers. With T300 I have cracked it n I win every race ❤
I'm not sure then buddy. If its definitely xbox I'd be more than happy to race with you, I'm sure i could bring a few others along with me too 👍 I've raced with twisted (racer in your clip) loads and watched him go from crashing everywhere to being really consistent and fast.
I recently got it out again to refresh my memory and give the game another chance. What I don't like are the curbs. In addition, on some street courses there are strange bumps or stone pads in the middle of the racing line. This makes your car suddenly unstable. Another point of criticism is the sparse choice of tracks and cars, as well as the boring presentation. Then there is the cooperation with Fernando Alonso. However, he is so badly integrated into the game that he is almost not noticeable at all...
Well, I bought the Deluxe Edition almost day One for PS4, enjoyed the game, played alot of TC2. I never liked the handling though, since I never played any Grid games before. I hope Grid Legends has better handling.
Grid 1 so good not even the sequels can be as good. Grid 2 is fine but the handling ruins it. Autosport is Great but Single Player portion sucks. Grid 2019 is a 100gb mobile game on PC.
@@BoostedTV Not really, Its been pulled from all stores & half the content was made into DLC's which you can no longer buy without either pirating the entire game or buying them from shady 2nd hand key sellers.
Forza to me is boring. The gameplay of Grid as in the actual racing is more fun. It’s arcade style and that is what brings out the adrenaline in me. That there is less tracks that does not matter as unlike in Forza, each race feels different.
I play it on my xbox series x as well. Got it super cheap and it's worth a whirl at that price range. It could use more tracks but not bad if you can get it cheap. 😊👍
Wait wait.... Forza Motorsport has not tyre degradation ,fuel consumption? Pit stops? I thought it wanted to be a simulator but it looks like its closer to PC3 than GT...

I beg to differ about the graphics being just "meh" though. Unless we're looking for raytraced shadows or reflections here I don't see what this game lacks artistically or technologically.
I played it and hated it. Played it again and still hated it. Then a little while ago I tried it one last time and absolutely loved it!! I still enjoy it. I think I was just expecting something different before but once I appreciated it for what it is, it's super fun.
I completely missed it when it originally came out. I just didn’t hear anything about the game. I only found out now because I ran across it on game pass.
I have a g29 steering wheel and this game is great when my friends want to play something Other games like project cars 2 , f1 , acc are to complicated for noobs to play
Good review except it exemplifies one big problem with racing games now a days. The lack of good music. You didn't even mention Music in your review. Earlier racing games had fantastic memorable soundtracks that you either still remember or at least found a song you liked. It was a huge part of the fun in the early PlayStation, Saturn, and Xbox generation especially with Ridge Racer type 4 probably one of the best video game soundtracks ever. The Project Gotham Series (which I would say this is the closest comparison to Grid) had tons of artist and music that I heard for the first time and became fans of. In the future when reviewing racing games please mention if it has good music. Looking forward to what you think of GT7.
You know what, honestly, I think Grid 2019’s music was so unmemorable that it didn’t even cross my mind. I literally can’t even think of a single song from the game. I’ll definitely keep that in mind.
Codemasters can't decide what they want grid to be & they have a habit of trying to please everybody & end up pleasing no body. The whole series has had an identity crisis. The first Grid was like the best Toca game ever. After that Grid 2 they tried a strange arcade handling model which failed. Grid Auto sport & Grid 2019 have the same simcade handling model but both games suffer from overly aggressive Ai. I think Legends has been the best game since the first one not perfect but definitely a step in the right direction.
GRID 2019 honestly doesn't deserve any "love". It is but a shadow of any of the previous titles and here's why. I've played all GRID games, including 2019, and I'd say that I have a pretty good grasp on the quality of each one. GRID 2019 grabs bits of previous iterations and makes them from a little bad to much worse in comparison to older entries. IMHO, GRID Autosport is the best of the series for one simple reason, handling and balance. The handling on Autosport was basically the perfect sim-cade handling, easy to get into but hard to master, consistent, organic and just tons of fun for experienced and unexperienced players. It also worked for keyboard, pad and wheel, even if the wheel experience wasn't as hardcore as a simulation game and the keyboard as precise as a wheel or pad. Speaking of the balance, you could pick any car and be sure that if you drove as good as the other people you'd be there next to them, maybe excluding a handful of classes. There was obviously one car that had the edge on a certain track but rarely would you be at the back because of your car choice. This made online so good and honestly online is what keeps a game alive, not a career mode. However, a better career mode wouldn't hurt... Speaking of the career, and when it comes to the singleplayer experience, the original GRID and GRID 2 did a much better job at involving the player in a world of racing, competing to get to the big leagues and building their own team from scratch. All that I just said just isn't in GRID 2019, the only thing that game has is newer cars and that's it, they're super unbalanced most of the times and super janky to drive. When I realized that, it was when I abandoned the game and had to launch Autosport for a cure. I REALLY hope GRID Legends looks back at the good points from each previous game and puts them all together. For me all it needs to have is GRID Autosport's handling and balance with GRID 1 or 2's career mode and I'd be happy with the series again. If you can get an old copy of GRID Autosport for console or PC, have a good Apple or Android device, or even a Switch, I whole-heartedly recommend going for Autosport instead of GRID 2019.
A bit over a thousand players? WOW I didn’t new it was that bad. I tried the game during a free weekend (or weekends) this is a January spike in player count. And while there is nothing I can pin point and wrong about the game it simply did not click with me. I was not able to match the settings and get good enough understanding of gaining a full control over cars. So I dropped it. With the next game grid legends I has more fun and spent more time in it.
It's like they don't even try to make grid a good game. It either has a lack of cars or tracks or modes. A game like asseto can allow itself to have less cars or tracks because they are almost like real life but an arcade game where you can throw a random layout and call it a track really has no excuse.
Reason why I don't play Forza 5 online races well because they think it's burnout paradise or GTA or something but I play the shit outta grid 2 might give this game a try.
This game lost the 'I'm managing a goddamn awesome racing team' vibe And there's no pumpin' music I was disappointed Then i played Modified Stock Cars and got to race in a Trans Am Firebird Then I was merely ok with the game It's...fine. A little above average. Doesn't have the same oomph/'it'-factor as OG Race Driver: GRID even if it plays similarily I've speedrun GRID trying to find the fastest way to get Global rank unlocked. Lost my notes, but i loved that game that much. GRID 2019 is just...ok.

60fps on a home console simcade within the last 2 generations. This was a breath of fresh air. And still is.
Yep! Super excited for it.
Wrong.
You must think we were born yesterday.
It's impossible to finish tuning 1 race car 🏎.
What planet do you come from?
Did you really finish racing cars?
You're crazy.
Nobody believes you.
Maybe you should take over Ford and build cars for us.
@@Gma7788 I love when guys come in like “no you’re wrong I won’t elaborate” 😂
I’ve never played a Grid game. After watching this I might consider downloading and playing it. Your review was solid and can tell you took your time with it! Can’t wait to see what else you’ll review
I appreciate the feedback!
Hi Luis,
If your looking at giving GRID a go, i'd highly recommend the original Grid (2008).
Wrong.
We don't want you gushing praise on idiots.
We don't believe anything you say from now on.
Did you try it? I'm back at it trying to finish off career mode. It's so good with a wheel (on strongest force feedback) codemasters made a game that's arcade fun yet makes so much sense at 900 degree steering . G2019 with all DLC and updates, is data I'm gonna keep.
Recommend the Original Grid. Is the best.
Thanks I appreciate the feedback 💪
You're wrong.
You, and everyone else disowned the product.
It was a time waste getting smashed off the track for no benefit.
You didn't learn anything from getting smashed out of the race.
They kept over braking every time, for corners.
It was stupid.
The AI still smashes me out of the race.
It doesn't matter what I do.
A car always appears out of nowhere and spins your car into the wall.
60% of the extras must be disabled so you can complete a race.
@@Gma7788 maybe you just need to get better at it. Maybe work on your attitude too.
The power of Streamers kills A LOT of games.
@@BoostedTV This indeed is what's going on. People rather want to call themselves sim racer than arcade racer. Same happened with PC3 which is a great game as well but suffered from the same dumb bashing.
Cause you couldn't gossip to your horrible friends.
You must think we believe you when you say it takes you 2 minutes to tune a race car.
You're SO full of shit.
Stop commenting idiot.
It takes a lifetime to tune 1 race car 🏎.
The real men have taken over the TH-cam comments section from you sick individuals.
@@BoostedTV i dont know man but this year forward would be even worst. Most people having a serious flow wanting to get more abot the level of sim racing. I bet not just on racing communtiy but other genre as well.
So far it looks pretty good. They added drifting and crossplay ! & “Simcade”. That’s pretty clever. Haha
Thanks for watching.
@@MaxRamos8 rFactor and the likes are good IF you have the hardware, like wheel & pedals setup, for controller, i just... can't! I played rFactor a couple of times at a friends place with proper hardware, and was easy enough to learn! The thing is that when using controller and/or keyboard, you won't have the required sensitivity levels on a finger haha! that's where the "simcade" corrects you
Sim Cade sounds like a new Mortal Kombat character
To keep a racing game alive you need strong online game modes. Grid2 was the most played grid online, it has custom servers with hardcore damage (no flashback, and the car can be totalled), Grid 2019 has no custom server, just quick races.
That’s what was missing for me in 2019, more hardcore style of racing online.
Fun channel mate, just discovered it 👍
I appreciate the feedback 💪
The Australian V8 supercars have ALWAYS been my favorite type of racing. I used to watch them on TV whenever I could.
Great video, cant wait to see more content from you!
Thanks bro I appreciate it 🔥
I recently started with Grid Legends thru Game Pass and it slowly grew on me, to the point of me buying the Deluxe Version!
Ahhh, yes. I’ve raced with them a few times on Legends
Great Vid!
usually I play grid 2019, its a fun game
Just started Grid Legends & I'm hooked with that one.
Absolutely. GRID Legends supports crossplay on all platforms so you can play with your friends regardless of which platform you're using.Jan 4, 2022
Edit about curbs: They are possible to manage with enough experience. It's not the curb that causes a spinout, but accelerating or steering too strongly while passing over them. Take it easy while on curbs. Flat curbs generally don't cause issues, it's mainly the raised curbs to look out for
I absolutely love Grid 2019!
Yea I agree, game devs nowadays Forgot how to do progression in games lol
Also, if you comment on my recent video you’re automatically entered to win a free copy of Grid: Legends 💪
grid on NINTENDO SWITCH is awesome but not for everyone.. its super impresive to have on the go alot of poeple forget the SWITCH is the first of its kind a hybrid console!
great video.. ive put in almost 200 hours on grid and its maybe 70% finnished in campian
I never knew grid was on switch. I’ve got to get me one soon.
I was disappointed to see that they removed the Nurburgring track, the 24 Hours of Lemans and the drifting mode
The latter was added back to the successor though.
Thanks! I agree, it's definitely just "OK"
Of all the racing games I own, I play Grid 2019 the most (PC). Although I just bought Grid Legends a few days ago and am playing that one now.
GRID Legends: Deluxe Edition. The Deluxe Edition includes access to four post-launch DLC packs that feature an unmissable range of extra cars, story experiences, bonus Ravenwest career events, and exclusive Weekly/Monthly Challenges.Dec 6, 2021
I agree with everything you said. I prefer Grid games because of their physics and damage model. I love the handling compared to other racers, but content and customization is severely lacking.
I have grid 2019 lauch edition, and grid legends launch. But 2019 is the og to grid,
Very well made!
Thanks ! Took a while
It's in a no-man's land.
And i think you were correct in that regard.
I'm a fan of racing games for years now but i never liked wheels and pedals and probably never will i always played on gamepad not everyone like racing wheels or extreme sim games
Played it and enjoyed it. Never played a grid game before, but I'll wear out any racing game before I move on to a different type of game
Haha same for me. Although Grid 1 was soooo ahead of it’s time.

"Forza Horizon 5 literally rewards you for driving in a straight line." LOL, we literally need that in the Philippines, my home country, where drivers are allergic to sticking to their own lane!!.
Great video man! Loved the editing and voiceover, keep it up!
Thank you for the feedback !
I love Jarret and Labonte stock car racing on PS 1. And Grid like that..
Take care.
I’m having a decent amount of fun with Grid Legends. Very fun game to just hop in and race online.
Totally agree! Can't wait for the new game this month.
I liked this and the follow up.
Old school grid 1-2 and Autosport you feel you drive real car engine sound and track and control a car
:O I play this game ALOT just wish the freeroam actually had an easy way to chose which car to choose instead of a preset of car lists. Haven't touched MP yet but SP is fun.
i love all the small details . i hate when in a racing game the driver doesn’t move or hit the right pedals.
Yea! Same, that’s why that’s one of my favorite details in this game. Really awesome to see that
Every review I've seen (including this one) of this game thinks the driving model is weird. I think it's absolutely perfect in many ways. It's so exaggerative, exhilarating and punishing. It's one of the only racing games where I will legitimately crash because the cars are so slippery and I love it so much! :>
I would rather have all the cars be uncontrollable and force you to pay attention then have all of them feel dull and boring like forza can sometimes
And the feel of speed is SO GOOD
Forza looks so slow compared to this game
I play on Xbox with a controller and I find that a high sensitivity, hard difficulty, 9 laps, stiff tuning and the lowest assists you can tolerate gives me the most rewarding driving experience. I am very biased towards this game because I think handing model is the most important thing in a racing game and I love it so much
I would put this games handling up with burnout paradise and art of rally which are some of my favorites
Good arcade racing games are a dying breed and I'm very glad that this one exists (also if you like this you might like art of rally, but it's more difficult then this game I believe and it's on game pass )
If the driving feels weird to you in any game it helps to learn about car physics, tuning, and playing with the assists. Just like fps games the more time you put into racing games and learning how to get better the more rewarding it will be
You and I play the game very similarly. I typically don’t play with any assists on whatsoever and in cockpit or hoodcam. Makes for a very visceral experience I agree.
Entertaining and Love the passion for Car games👍🏾
I appreciate the support! More videos coming this week.
The previous TOCA games had a storymode that gave the game more character & personality. This particular GRID feels a bit lifeless without it. I am hoping that GRID LEGENDS will bring that spark back to this series and that crossplay will be enabled as well as some serious polishing to the visuals.
Cross play is confirmed !
I play this game, I own them all. Played it on this game on the 05/02/2022 which was yesterday. I play it mostly on my Ps4 on my Logitech G923 Trueforce Playstation wheel. Also have it on xbox but don't play it on there that much because I'm not using a wheel.
I love this video
Thigs i want: UPGRADE GRID 2019 TO NEXT GEN (and crossplay)
I love this game and yes I do see that it has its flaws, but this is a real racing game. Good job buddy.
How can it be a real racing game if you can't setup your brakes. It is just a kids game that does not need brakes.
The game was so neglected that I got the day one edition two weeks after release, the copy wasn’t even pre-owned
LOL! Wow
Great game 😊😊 i just feel bad that im going to have to spend 300+ hours grinding to get get the Around The Globe trophy 😔
Lol 😆 yeah that was my last achievement but gave up to move onto other games
Very well made and informative. Good job i think I may buy the new GRID game when it comes out
Thanks. That’s good to hear.
Yep. I agree forza does feel faster.

Oh man! I forgot about the 24hr of Le Mans

Thanks ! That means a lot
Update:Nobody played GRID Legends, except its driven to glory mode
LOOOOOL
I agree completely! Here’s hoping Legends is better.
And really? You definitely should make Grid content. Let me know when you do, I’ll sub to you.
bought the ultimate edition for 10€ on xbox sx and am really enjoying it with the Logitech g923 Trueforce feature, so far the best trueforce experience (compared to acc and fm 7)
It must of been more popular in uk (timezones may be a reason) as I've never had a problem finding a lobby to race in
I’m in the US, and after about 10pm there’s MAYBE 2 people playing it.
I'm not sure then buddy. If its definitely xbox I'd be more than happy to race with you, I'm sure i could bring a few others along with me too 👍 I've raced with twisted (racer in your clip) loads and watched him go from crashing everywhere to being really consistent and fast.
I liked toca , not really realistic, but gave u that vibe of beeing in the pits , on the track with its cutscenes

I completely agree.
Well, I bought the Deluxe Edition almost day One for PS4, enjoyed the game, played alot of TC2. I never liked the handling though, since I never played any Grid games before. I hope Grid Legends has better handling.
I wouldn't say "no one" played it, that'd suggest no one even picked it up which certainly wouldn't be true
Grid 1 so good not even the sequels can be as good.
Grid 2 is fine but the handling ruins it. Autosport is Great but Single Player portion sucks.
Grid 2019 is a 100gb mobile game on PC.
I never got around to playing Autosport. Think it’s worth giving it a try ?
@@BoostedTV Not really, Its been pulled from all stores & half the content was made into DLC's which you can no longer buy without either pirating the entire game or buying them from shady 2nd hand key sellers.

I never liked auto sport tbh. Grid 1 was great. Grid 2, with a little change in handling was fun too
Forza to me is boring. The gameplay of Grid as in the actual racing is more fun. It’s arcade style and that is what brings out the adrenaline in me. That there is less tracks that does not matter as unlike in Forza, each race feels different.
I have the same opinion
Really a hidden gem. Love this game. The sound and aesthetics are better than forza. Although the handling and heavy feel is sadly true
Grid is amazing . Light hearted racing fun .someone must have bought it for it grid legends to come out soon ?
Haha yea, I guess that makes sense.
Well I actually enjoyed playing this game I have near about 100+ hrs into it tho 🤣🤣🤣...I am also looking forward for Grid Legends

I Finnished the game and enjoyed it
That’s good ! I’ll be picking up the new one when it releases too.
I played it day 1, but never really got into the online part
It’s fun and competitive if you can find players.
Forza actually DOES feature all of that, it’s just not implemented very well.

I beg to differ about the graphics being just "meh" though. Unless we're looking for raytraced shadows or reflections here I don't see what this game lacks artistically or technologically.
Maybe it is an artistic thing, I’ve always felt like Grid games had a weird filter on over the whole game. Haha

Awesome game 👍
This game was actually really good. 🙃
Hopefully they can and will add cross play to the franchise
I have a g29 steering wheel and this game is great when my friends want to play something
Other games like project cars 2 , f1 , acc are to complicated for noobs to play
would they rather play new GRID with repetitiveness Track?...
or play Gran turismo license test over and over again
I actually havent played a GT game in years
Good review except it exemplifies one big problem with racing games now a days.
I got to wondering playing Grid 2019 whether or not Ladyhawke's 'My Delirium' from 2008 was somewhat borrowed for the prerace music.
I agree, i stopped playing Legends for a while but recently got back into it.
Why did they not give us any brake adjustments, the brakes are just crap, just lock up soon as you touch them.
Someone else just told me how good autosport was. I may download and try to play if it isn’t too late.
@@BoostedTV Would love to see a similar video to this but on Autosport!
More people should definitely be made aware of this hidden gem.
Comparing this to Legends, I think Legends is a slight improvement from this.
I agree! I had a lot of fun online with legends
This is a good game
Yea I agree with that. hopefully they've learned from their past mistakes and the new game will be better.
WTF - no one?! im playing it - good arcade game!
Yes it’s so hard for me to find games online
Great video!
How much would you say its worth to pick it up for? Under $15?
Definitely don’t pay anything more than $15 considering Grid: Legends comes out in a couple of weeks.
Thanks for commenting!
Reason why I don't play Forza 5 online races well because they think it's burnout paradise or GTA or something but I play the shit outta grid 2 might give this game a try.
I think you should! It's still free on Gamepass, so why not.
This game lost the 'I'm managing a goddamn awesome racing team' vibe
And there's no pumpin' music
I was disappointed
Then i played Modified Stock Cars and got to race in a Trans Am Firebird
Then I was merely ok with the game
It's...fine. A little above average. Doesn't have the same oomph/'it'-factor as OG Race Driver: GRID even if it plays similarily
I've speedrun GRID trying to find the fastest way to get Global rank unlocked. Lost my notes, but i loved that game that much.
GRID 2019 is just...ok.
I think they should’ve changed the name so ppl would know the difference between this and the other grid names
Yea, this one would’ve been better off being a spin- off title
I always enjoyed it, but yea it's not as fun when no one's online, its 3 guys that play online here and there we always have good races
Yep, my exact same experience. If you play Xbox we should play sometime.
Unpopular opinion: I enjoyed it. It was still one of the worse TOCA/Grid titles, but far from bad
In a nutshell it was just pish. Legends has a bit more traction but is still buggy, mundane and only mildly fun in places.
