- We went to Blackpool Pleasure Beach on a quiet Friday afternoon in May, in this video Scott and Becca do some of the main thrill rides as well as some of the family rides whilst sharing our thoughts on those rides and some on-ride footage too.

Always love the segments on the Pleasure beach express! A great discussion today! Also the work on the big one certainly deserves some recognition.
Another thing, how amazing does the old grotto look!?!? I haven’t been on it this season so I’ve only seen it on one of the earlier vlogs! It’s got so much going on and prelude to earthrise is back! Stunning just stunning! Can’t wait to get back!

Great vlog Scott! I had a day like this at the park last week with my girlfriend. It's so nice to go to PB and just chill out, go on the rides you want, and take your time. We tried Coasters for the first time as well and really enjoyed the buffalo wings! Hope to see you around the park soon :)

One of the last Family owned parks in operation... and look how they have expanded over the years. This is a true example of family-owned parks.

Fantastic Vlog as always. Loved the River Caves POV and the shivers when I heard Prelude to Earthrise in the part before the Valley of the Kings, still my favourite part of the Caves.

Lovely to see you both enjoying time together in the Pleasure Beach. I cannot wait to get there in September. I’ve missed it. Like you say Scott, the pandemic has taught us all not to take these things for granted and to make the most of every opportunity to enjoy them. The Pleasure Beach is looking great this season. Rollercoaster is definitely my favourite too Becca 👍😄

Lovely vlog. I loved seeing the river caves pov - felt a bit choked up hearing the music where it used to be under gold mine track as haven’t heard that in ages - I’ve really missed that.

I wish I didn't work term time after watching your vlog. Sometimes I just want a ride feast day and whenever Im off work it's always peak days. However..I do find Sunday mornings can be walk on so I ride my heart out for a few hours before I head home. 🤣
Sunday’s are usually good for lots of rides, especially after the late night riding days on a Saturday

@@yourexperienceguide it would give me a reason to go Again......after recent visit it wasn't a very good park with long queues......especially as legoland is down the road which I thought was excellent 😀
Great vlog guys! I was there on the same Friday as you and had exactly the same discussion about retracking the helix on PMBO. It would be so good to see them continuing with this work as it makes a massive difference to the ride experience.

Do you have to get filming permission to film anywhere or is it just for rides? Also is it a public thing or is it exclusive?
You need permission for on ride filming

Can you walk on the beach and see how high the water marks are on the pier supports at the end of the pier? Im thinking on average the water is about 10-15 feet deep.

@@yourexperienceguide yeah it's always fascinated me how Blackpool, sea always looks so deep when the tide is in but I've never been able to get to the bottom of how deep it really is. If you could have a look at the water marks next time your there and give us an idea of exactly how high up on the supports they are, it would be interesting to know

@@yourexperienceguide nah unfortunately - we might have missed you ahaha :) it was a great day though, really quiet and no queues at all!! avalanche was closed all morning but we finally caught it opening just as we were about to leave which was great :D

It’s quiet in the week at the moment but isn’t likely to be during half term

Hi.. Love the video thanks. I don't know if it's because I'm getting older but we were at BPB last weekend and I found the big one really uncomfortable! Like I say, maybe it's me but I feel like it's become a lot more violent than I remember! I'd love your thoughts. Cheers.
I don’t think it’s that bad, you’ve maybe never experienced it when it’s run as fast as it’s been doing lately which does show up more bumps than when it’s not at its quickest due to the wind. Far rougher coasters at BPB in my opinion. Thank you for watching ☺️

Hi scot.. We are both big made. Lol. But love icon.. We always have to sit at the back.. Could you pull some strings so we can have a front row ride... Or is it lose weight. Lol.

@@yourexperienceguide I just fancy the front.. I know coaster enthusiastic fans love the back for air time but we are beginners to all this.. Icon terrifies me but I love it at the same time. I went on wicker man the other week and that's nothing. Good theme but ride nowhere near as good. I went on Rita and felt sick. Lol. So never on that again.. Enjoyed alton towers but pleasure beech is the one... When is the next meet up Scott, will have to buy you an ice cream. You will not know this but lockdown has brought on depression for myself.. Your uploads have helped kill otherwise endless hours of boredom. So you see your vids do help people. I work 45 hours a week but still a lot of hours to kill with lockdown.. So I must thank you and becca..
