- Join us for the final part of our North West of England mini road trip where we visit our happy place…….the fabulous Blackpool Pleasure Beach
I have waited so long to get back inside this amazing amusement park and while celebrating its 125th anniversary which is incredible to think the park is that old
We finally get back on the insane Big One which is the tallest and now currently the longest coaster in the UK, we also experience all of the classics dark rides which have all had some lighting up dates plus so much more including some of the best drone footage I’ve ever captured from the perimeter of the park
Footage was filmed in 2.7K 50fps using a Gopro Hero 9 Black with a Max Lens Mod attached plus in 1080p 60fps using a DJI Mini 2 drone with all the official flyer and operator ID’s and liability insurance

Great Vlog, hope you had a great Birthday and that drone footage was stunning, it never gets old seeing the Pleasure Beach from above and the greens really popped among all that track.

Blackpool is a great park,best in UK by far... reminds me of my childhood visits 80s,90s.. Alice is brilliant, miss the mine train and remember I used to love the tokaydo express. Icon is my new favourite and streak is best woody there as others getting too rough.

Drone footage was great. I lost a cap on Montu was many years ago and had quick enough reflexes to catch it 😂 lesson learnt!

@coastercrazy you have to let us know if you want to plan a trip to Kennywood when travel is back to normal. We'd love to show off it as well a a few other crown jewels like Knoebels here in Pennsylvania. We are lucky to have some amazing amusement parks in our state.
Kennywood is a bucket list park for me and hopefully make it next year now

Not been sorted unfortunately there is an issue with Apple iPhone 11 and 11 Pro’s so could take a few weeks to fix itself but good job I bought the battery case as it’s a god send

Hi Andy great video as always. None riding entrance before Covid went up to 10 pounds. Now you have to pay full price even if you don't go on the rides.

Thanks, probably won’t be able to get much footage from above a Merlin park as 2 of them (LEGOLAND and Thorpe) are in Heathrow’s flight path and Towers is too big to fly around
So sad that one cannot film on any of the rides at all. The Merlin parks really ought to loosen up a bit on that. Still a very entertaining vlog though!

What do you think of the new automatic doors on the Ghost Train. I guess they have less wear and tear than when the cars bashed them open - I think it’s lost part of the experience now…🤔

Because they work with the park and get special permission
Because we have a working relationship that stretches back to 2011 with the Pleasure Beach. We also have professional mounting gear, dedicated risk assessments and specialised insurance for doing it.
