The reason why Yral have problems is not the amount of canisters (one canister per user) but that every canister has hearbeat, which is like scheduler that is called on repeat... so if you have 100k users you have 100k canisters that has timer on repeat running and all at the same time... it's just broken architecture. It seems they don't know what they doing. If you need to run a job on repeat, just have one canister or 10 canisters for jobs. Not 100k canisters that launch at the exact same time to do nothing, bc probably only 1% of those 100k need to actually do something.

Hi Jerry, Thank you for bringing this up. A couple of months ago, I raised a similar concern in one of the most active OpenChat channels, but I was quickly criticized for supposedly spreading FUD. Many are more focused on hyping ICP’s price potential and reinforcing one-another's belief that the price is going to the moon rather than discussing potential issues like this. As a developer, I know there’s a big difference between building simple applications and creating ones that can scale and perform efficiently. You can’t just fix scalability issues after the fact-it requires the appropriate architecture from the start. My first task after developing a simple application on ICP was to test its performance with large amounts of data. It quickly consumed all the available RAM and crashed. This was a flaw in my design, not in Motoko or ICP. I understand the root cause and will return to this project when I get an opportunity.
