TOP LOW SPEC GAMES Nah, I mean I’m not tryna spoil it for RTTV. But I see a lot of merits to this arc. Definitely more than the Zoldyck mansion arc and last arc of the anime. And I could make a decent case for it in comparison to other arcs, but again, not tryna spoil it.
As soon as they started talking about Leorio being a doctor with Nen abilities I realized just how useful Leorio's nen power would be in surgery. He perform non-invasive surgery and remove things from bodies without making incisions. That would actually be a really cool power to have.
I think you guys hit the nail on the head. This game is to train Gon. Ging made it clear that he lives to be a hunter first and foremost. And if Gon can't pass Ging's tests and keep up with Ging on his own, then he's better off living his own life away from Ging, otherwise Gon's life might be at risk, or hold Ging back and get them both killed. So it's best for both of them if Gon either passes his tests and finds Ging on his own or if he fails and forgets about Ging and lives his own life within his limits. This show is really subtle about Ging's thought process, but it's pretty complex imo.
The other arcs surrounding thing arc(Phantom trupe arc and Chimera ant arc)are legendary so greed island gets forgotten a little, but personally love the Greed Island arc.
