That's why so many people love vg10 and why spyderco uses it a lot. Very easy to sharpen and still holds an edge really well. A great all around user steel
OK, I have to get a Skyline now. Every review has been super positive on that knife, and like you, I am a fan of Kershaw, even their Chinese blades that you can get super cheap. Wish I could find that ZT for $100 :)

Your absolutly right, awesome folder's, but I'm more of a fix blade type of guy, and today I have my vintage three blade Camillus canoe, it's in a leather sheath, sometimes I alternate it with my Western Vintage lockback folder, but mostly, I neck carry my Top's, mini scandi, very nice scandi grind fix blade, but my favorite EDC is my Busse Anneversary Mean Street LE, anyhow, I do have a bunch of folders, not all that expensive, but I do have some nice Case, Puma, but I also have a few real nice folders too, two great ones, both Vintage Al-Mar's, Vintage ofcource, Both Larger And Smaller one has the Swedge blade, no Longer made, Two S.O.G.'s I think both the bigger one and the smaller one, are in VG-10, and are called the Pentagon, then some real favorite are my Cold Steel, Vintage Talwar, Titanium frames lockback's, and the Black Sable, they are in San Mai 3, then I have one I use in the bush, and that one is my Black Rhino in AUS-8a, and I have another Vintage Rajah 1 same steel as the Black Rhino, then I also have a no longer made Vaquero in VG-1, and it's the medium size all serrated blade, I also use to cut rope, canvas, and things like that on my outings, and it's on my survival belt, I noticed, I'm really enjoy watching some folder videos, and this one in particular I like, Thanx for sharing, good job.
I got a flip knife at a shop for fishing gear and they were selling amazing sharp flip knifes that were only 2.99 in Minnesota I don't know if they have it anywhere else but it's the best knife I've got it's better than some of my 80$ knifes
I like the list! The extra $30 or so for the Benchmade Ritter Mini Griptilian is a very worthwhile investment IMO. The Ritter Grip's blade design & geometry is so superior to the standard blade options that they shouldn't even use the same name. Now the Ritter also comes in M390 steel...for each time I sharpen my M390 Benchmades, I'd guess I would have to sharpen the same blade in 154CM at least 5 or so times!!!

Chinese made knives vary company to company. Kershaw has some fantastic Chinese made knives like the Cryo 2. And Cold Steel makes some knives in China that are great quality as well.
I went out and bought the Kershaw Leek yesterday and its a great knife but I paid 80 something so I might have over paid there but whatever it seems to be a good EDC knife.
An updated video should show the Chinese made CH knives, mdels 3501 and 3504. The 3504 is titanium, annodized, 3D titanium clip, steel on steel lock, SVN35 steel, ceramic detents, ball bearing, frame lock flipper....all for $80 delivered!!!! No trademark infringement either. The 3501...also with similar materials except D2 steel.
Some of these knives aren't found regularly under 100 but good list. If you want to spend 5 extra dollars you can get a Kershaw Knockout with a blackwashed ELMAX blade from kershaw guy, better steel than most of the knives listed and it's a solid subframe lock. 👍
Instead of the paramilitary. You should have added the tenacious i have one i picked up over a year with the 8cr13 steal. Love that knife. Specially since the tenacious does come under 100.
Thank you for your video. I just recently purchased my first 2 Benchmade knives. I got a Griptilian and a Mini Barrage. I am absolutely in love with both of them. My only complaint is no deep carry clip. I've found custom clips, but very pricey. Do I have any other options? Thanks
EDC GEAR REVIEWS. Does de-assisting the Kershaw Blur in Sandvik steel effects the centering? I've de-assisted my S30V model but the Sandvik model is off centered when de-assisted. How do i rectify this?
Is the Kershaw Skyline assisted opening or not? Because the one I bought wasent assisted opening, it had the flipper but you have to flick your wrist and use the flipper at the same time to open it with one hand. The ones on this video seem to be completly assisted opening.

Aneesh S i got a rat 1&2 they were both cull units .the rat 2 has lock slop .the rat one out of box the the lock was stuck so bad tools were required to un stick the lock .then the lock failed to lock .then it popped shut on my thumb ( nearly needed stiches ) .fix the lock with bandaged thumb .then it worked ok .the rat 2 is unfixable .there's like 1/32-1/64 distance between the lock and the blade tang .there is no excuse these days for sending a knife out like that .it is easily detachable if there was any quality control!
I am a bit confused because I have never seen any Paramilitary 2's for $100.00 or less. I have seen fakes on Ebay go for about that price or less. What is your source for finding this knife at $100.00.

Yo be correct some of these knives are over $100. My favorite knife under $100 would be spyderco endura and I edc a bench made 940-1 and a ZT 0452cf but I love my endura once I upgraded the scales.
If you're interested in the 2 brands id say for EDC go for a Zero Tolerance 0350. If you're a soldier looking for a tank get a 300 model. I have a spyderco endura and a tenacious but i loved my 0350 (someone pick pocketed me but bought another one the next week) and its the only knife ill need. Hard to sharpen though.

I really like the Kerhaw Volt SS. Slim, light weight, assisted-open and under $50 (usually).
I was able to get the Spyderco Manix 2 for $89, brand new. It has an S30V blade and G10 scales. The best bang for the buck, in my collection at least.
Bruce Leo I agree. But I got the Manix 2 XL for $94, G10 and S30V blade. Almost twice the knife of any shown here, yes, including the PM2.

It is a good one. Just not one of MY top 10. A little large and I prefer the manual knives over the speedsafe. Same could be said about the Knockout.

I think they added a torsion bar I bout my mom one this year and it doesn't fall like that.
