The last time Placebo played in Manchester, they wouldn't start until every camera was off. Then, every time anyone turned one on, the band stopped and the person was kicked out. Awesome show.
When he sings the mid to end sections in the high notes-which he doesn't do in the studio recording-gives me shivers. The best cover of this song and best version of this song of all versions 😍😍😍👏👏👏

Life goes on, but it sucks without my parents. It never ever occurred to me that they would ever be gone, so it was quite a shock. Thanks for the post-appreciate it very much!

As much as I love the original I also love how this is slowed down. I think it gives a new dimension to the song. And when you reflect on the lyrcis it has a certain sadness to it. That's what I love about Kate -- her lyrics were often simple but had such depth behind them.

Placebo version is something outstanding and flawless, it also makes me think of darkness and emptiness as I want to fall off while someone tries to hold me up. I don't know whether you noticed the most commendable and delicious thing over this song is the electronic part. It definitely sounds different from the album version but it deserves to be rated more and considered a masterpiece. Several people slam Placebo because of their manners, as they're not so polite and sincere. However it doesn't matter and my tip to you is to be more and more charmed by the rock/electro vibes they create and the strength of this original and quirky sound! I wonder if any of you could stick to my standpoint.

Kate Bush is a Goddess and I never thought ANYONE would could or should cover any of her material, but Placebo really does this song credit, it gives it a totally different feel. This doesnt have to be an either/or...both versions are brilliant!
I'm a big KaTe Bush fan and not a Placebo fan at all but I absolutely love this version, especially the intro. Few covers can do justice to a KB song and this is just one of 2 or 3 which I consider decent or (dare I say it?) exceptional. Gotta give credit where credit is due. ;)
A lot of you heard this song on the promo for this year's match, but I heard it back a few months ago, when they rebroadcasted WrestleMania XXV on NBC. They were doing a video package before the match highlights started, and this was a song they used.
If it hadn't been for Placebo covering this song, I would have never given Kate Bush a second try, and realized that I had grown into her! So thanks Placebo, and I think both of them are doing what artists do and that is interpreting what something means to them personally!

I love every part of this song ... but maaaaan, that feedback-laden guitar solo that starts around 4:30 ... that's just extra beautiful.
