Your pronunciation is fantastic for someone who is just beginning to learn Serbian! Keep it up, you can do it! Serbian is a difficult language grammar-wise, and it takes time. I am an ESL teacher, I know what I'm talking about. 😂
One thing to remember when trying to cenverse in foreign language is to never be ashamed making mistakes using it. Thing is, even when it's all chopped up and doesn't sound right, people love hearing it and seeing you try to use their language. If they laugh it's only cos they find it "cute", nobody will ever laugh at you for not knowing the language. And not to discourage you but Serbian is very hard. Just keep trying.
The purpose of language is to communicate. To get the ball over the net. Who cares if it is not correct if you are understood? That is how children learn to speak. They have no idea about grammar. But they are not afraid to speak making mistakes. When you make mistake you will be corrected and that way you will remember it forever.
Find out how you best learn. Is it by hearing, by visual on paper or by practically doing something and picking up on the language while physically doing something ? When you know that, it may help to focus on that method of learning. For example, if you learn by hearing, by listening to others speak, you could jot down the words you don't know, and add to your knowledge that way. Or if it's visual, you may need to read text on paper with English and Serbian side by side. If it's by tactile learning while practically doing something, you may remember words and phrases as you work, shop, garden, working an appliance, walking around and observing around you while your husband or someone points out how to say words in your environment.
Serbian or Srpski is odličan. Kiki je odlična u Srpskom. Kiki is good in Serbian. Kiki je dobra. Kiki is good (girl, acts politely, has maners). Kiki je dobro. Kiki is good. (She's not sick, Hurt, in danger and so on). Hope you get the difference.
Your pronunciation is at least 50% better than an average westerner trying to speak Serbian :) Usually the problem is in pronouncing vowels too quickly. You are doing well.
Vrdnnik JE Fantastican.!!! Dear friend I'm from Vrdnik and I live in Canada presently and I'm going back to Serbia to Vrdnik. Pozdrv!!🕊️🌍👌👍🇵🇸 Free Palestine!!👌👍
You should cover topics like local cousine, music, sports, art, tradition. It’d be interesting for both natives and expats to see a foreigners perspective on such topics. Also, to help you learn Serbian faster you could do monthly or weekly videos of new things you’ve learnt.
Hey! Congratz Nix and Miki with 10th anniversary! That's huge! All the warmest regards to both of you and your wonderful kids! Me and my wife also had 10 years last year, and we moved to Serbia last year as well, btw :)g
Here is some advice for languages: simply start to learn words for objects you handle every day, and for activities you are doing every day, so, for very familliar and close surrounding. For example, if you are driving children to school, learn and repeat everything that can describe that activity from beginning to the end. When you get handle of that, then you widen area of your learning. You will see how you would spent months just on that first focused activity, but if you stay consistent in effort, when you start to widden it to other areas (for example, going to store, or going to restoraunt, etc.) it will suddenly become lightning progress. It is method I use for Greek Language. I spent last 15 years exactly 50 days in Greece, I already can go through restoraunt and stores without using anything but Greek, although first 30 days was pretty "painful"... But, hey, people will just smile figuring out you are stranger, and in 99% will appreciate your effort to learn their language and try to help you learn it...
I love you guys and I'm from Vrdnik too. I presently live in Canada and I'm going back to my Serbia. I'm watching your videos very often. Pozdrav vasoj Familiji iz Kanade!!❤️👌👍Vracam SE u Vrdnik!!❤️👌👍
OMG!! girl, I need to get in contact with you. I'm in the process of moving from USA, to Serbia. I surely need your help with everything. Please tell me where to connect. We love your videos.
One maybe better way to learn the names of the objects is to instead of translating it, use a picture of that object with serbian name under it. Or when Kiki asked you to say apple, she could've shown you an actual apple instead. Also, I like how you read serbian, you're great! Partnership with SuperVero? I mean no wonder because I saw you there at least 6 times :D

Maybe you should learn Serbian profanity, with them Serbs regularly communicate without hesitation😊 The advantage of learning Serbian is that you will be able to understand most of what Croats, Montenegrins and Bosnians say... Just don't get confused if you hear "mrtkva" instead of "šargarepa" You've probably heard about the breakup of Yugoslavia, but in order to convince America that Serbia will find it harder to advance in the region, they decided to come up with imaginary languages like Montenegrin or Bosnian. Some will call me a nationalist, but if you read Gorski Venac, he believes you'il find out the truth. Americans literally made languages based on different dialects, how many dialects exist in Hebrew.. But there are still not many small states instead of Israel
