I am amazed how quickly they regained their strength in their hind legs ❤️ ! You guys are so intuitive with your home therapies/ remedies, I'm signing up as a donor so you can keep helping the cats of NYC 😻
I just had knee surgery this morning. It makes me smile seeing the guys doing their physical therapy like I'll be doing in a few day. Thanks yet again for going the extra mile for the little ones!
I hear it’s scientifically proven that people who watch cat videos heal 10x faster than average. True story. 😉 🐾 Try Takis Shelter and Walter Santi channels too if you need some recommendations 😊 Good luck with your recovery.
What fun narration on this one! When my 21 year old cat died, our other elderly (but less elderly) cat cried and cried for him, so we got him two rescue kittens, a brother and sister. Though he's always been a very grumpy cat, he was completely smitten with one of his new kittens. They'd chase each other in slow motion, which was just his speed, though not hers. He's slowing down even more now, so no more games of chase, but now he cleans her and cuddles with her, things he'd never done with any cat before. It's pretty adorable.
I started watching these videos in 2020 during Covid, and I would cry about orphan kittens and my powerlessness to help them. Now, a little more than a year later, I watch these videos with a whole different feeling as my second foster kitten runs around on my lap. Thank you for producing the content that has motivated me to try to make a difference for them, but also a difference for me.
If there's anything positive to say about covid 19 is that Fip is now curable. Maybe too expensive for many cat owners but hopefully the price will drop 😊
Respect to solo kittens. I would never forget my first ever foster of a kitten. That night i lost 3 gallon of cooking oil, 5 liters of unused cat litter, a fresh bowl of spaghetti but obtained a visit by a friendly but annoyed neighbor living downstairs due to midnight noisy kitten flying issues.
Just brilliant. I signed on as a monthly donor. You guys are a top-notch rescue group. No doubt where that money goes. The ASPCA has great marketing skills but Flatbush Cats does the work. (Sheila from Hard Hat Cats)
I started watching your channel over a year ago. It ignited my passion for the TNR side of rescue. I went and signed up for TNR class because of you. Since then I have TNR'd a whole colony, found homes for many feral kittens, and helped educate people on spaying/neutering. All together I have helped 15 cats! I hope you know I give you credit for this as well, these videos really inspire me!
I'm in physical therapy right now and I don't think I'll be quite as agile as Fred and Ginger when I'm done, but it sure made me happy to see some special needs kittens given a second chance. ♥️ I've also got a tremendous case of kitten fever and as soon as I can get around a bit better I'm already planning on fostering through my local humane society.
It makes me sad to hear they often get euthanized. I first saw swimmers syndrome from Hannah Shaw's channel the kitten lady. I am glad you were able to treat these cuties. Heidi
I saw that on Kitten Lady too 😻 "Pitbulls and Paroles" also had 2 puppies on that were born with this. They built a small wooden shoot that encouraged them to walk upright and teased them with wet dog food to move forward. They eventually started to walk correctly and were adopted!!! 🐶🐾🐶
I was going to say that she has had swimmer kittens. It’s crazy that they get put down when it’s something that’s easily fixable without surgical intervention.
Man, I will just stop in my tracks and take the time to watch these videos no matter what I’m doing. Lol. I just loooooove seeing these cool cats and kittens. Uncle Garfield!!
Fred and Ginger are definitely lucky kittens. So glad they were rescued and rehabilitated. Thanks to Uncle Garfield for teaching them boundaries and how to be a cat. They'll get forever homes in no time. They're beautiful kittens! 😻❤️
I first saw kitten swimmer syndrome covered by one of Kitten Lady's videos. Without coverage by her and you, and probably by folks like Chris from Cole and Marmalade, and Jackson Galaxy, we wouldn't have much information. Thanks, Flatbush Cats and other channels. Those of us who care about cats really need to know things like this in case we encounter kittens and cats who need help who have things like this. The foster carers and cat lovers and veterinarians on TH-cam really do us and each other a good service and education, right along with the cuteness. There are plenty of not so cute and fun things that need our attention, but those are part of the care of having cats. Thanks, guys.
Oops, I left out Kitten Academy, Senior Cat Wellness, and there are many kitten fosters, so I didn't mention them by name. But these folks really are good sources. It's so good to have these available when we need questions answered, and just to see good stuff going on. Or, yes, sometimes difficult stuff too, but that needs to be covered so we know how to handle it and what to look for.
I’m just throwing out this comment for the algorithm. I want everyone to know about this channel and your organization. Thank you for all the work you do! Your videos always make me smile ❤️
Every time you put a new video out, I cry. Sometimes it’s happy and sometimes it’s sad crying. It’s not lost on me that these videos have a message, they’re so intrinsically good.
Thank you for spreading more awareness about adopting kittens in pairs as well! Cats aren't single animals and the myth of the "mean, unpredictable, evil cat" half stems from people adopting a single kitten too early, so it ends up not learning that bites hurt and use humans as their personal chewing toy.
Perfect names! l love it! They are cute cute cute cute cute! Amazing how one week cured what would have been a serious disability. Thank you for showing this, if I ever come across this, I will know what to do.
There is only 1 low cost spay and neuter clinic in our county, and they are backlogged over 300 dog and cat surgeries. The others are in the next city about 50 miles away. The vet clinics and hospitals don't deal with ferals, and charge phenomenal amounts for pets. There are some organizations authentically care, like Flatbush Cats 🐈. Sadly, alot are run like rackets. Thanks for being authentic.
You are one of my all time favorite rescue groups. I've been here since the beginning and my heart is so thankful for the work you do. Every new story is a gem, and gives me hope for humanity. These 2 little nuggets are more precious than words convey. Thank you, thank you, thank you! ❤❤❤
I'm so happy for Fred and Ginger 😍💙 . I'm glad they ended up with just the right people . They sure are cute . If you wouldn't have found them , wow . I'm just glad that their future is promising . That they'll live like kittens are supposed to . That they'll become 🐈 like they're supposed to be . I'm so glad , I pretty much can't find the words . I'm left speechless . They're 2 of the lucky ones .
Yes, they must have PT so they can bunny kick! Bunny kicks are very important! ;) Flatbush Cats does so much great work. Thank you so much to all the volunteers who put in so much time, effort, energy, and love. Ginger was SO ADORABLE tucked into her blanket on your lap! Seeing them try to eat each other's heads was pretty adorable, too.
I want to foster so badly but my husband is not on board. Last Oct he finally agreed to get a kitten. Callie was feral and we didn't know how feral. We patiently gave her lots of attention and pets. She is now 11 months old and jumps on his lap and sleeps. He just loves her. I think it's just a matter if time before he gives in.
Could this be your best video yet?! A bona fide work of art 👌 Mind you, it probably should have come with a warning as its principal protagonists are dangerously and overwhelmingly ADORABLE 💞💕💖💖

We gave them therapy 6 times a day for 6 weeks . Then 3 times a day for 6 weeks . I also would lay them on their backs and make them push up on my hands they still lay on their backs now on my lap . Haha . They get strong and you will wonder what was wrong . Dottie still can have problems running but she does . Vet says they are great and so do I . Dottie is ours now she crept into our hearts . They all have a home . Some with us and our other rescued fur babies , all 18 of them ages from 15 yrs - 5 months. Some have special needs from being hurt , or left on the street . God bless you for what you do. Karen and Tammy's rescue Australia 😼😺🐈🐶🥰💖🐨🇭🇲
