Does it have the same size stop pin? It looks like it might be bigger, but i cant tell for sure. Ive beaten the hell out of my Atom, and the stop pin is the only real weak point. I got some pretty bad deformation from some hard cuts in 2" diameter, .25" wall, reinforced tubing. It ended up introducing lock rock and slip.
Definitely yes. The stop pin on the Bulldog looks to be exactly the same thickness as the stock used for the bar lock, which is near about twice as thick as the stop pin on the Atom. Looks about the same as the stock pin on my Inkosi. I remember Jake Hoback ranting some years ago about how most stop pins were thick enough, but (A) not sure how much people trust Hoback these days after the whole fiasco and (B) that was during an era that everything was thick and overbuilt. I would totally believe that the thin stop pin on the Atom could be a point of failure.
