I'm much younger than grandma Smols & I went to bed at 9:30 PM New Year's eve, lol. I'm getting too old for New Year's eve celebrations, lol! Bryce Dallas Howard has been far more than proving her worth in the Star Wars universe! It makes perfect sense the episode she directed would be my favorite episode so far, with the previous one a close follow-up. The voices used for those trash crabs & part of the look of that mother crab seemed similar to those tiny rock creatures on that planet in Ahsoka. I gotta believe the planet At Achrann is somehow gonna come back into play with the storyline. I feel bad now that, in a way, the kids will be responsibile for both At Attin & At Achrann no longer being kept a secret.
I love Wim getting his first 'hero moment' and of course the team work the four showed at the end to save their ship and of course, then Silvo having to appease to the pirates, that's a nice standard trope for self-interested anti-heroes, flipping 'sides', but I think he'll do right by the kids when the time comes.
KB more than likely was paralyzed in her accident and the tech is annastmosed to her occipital region of brain to xontrol her apinal column and nervous system.

Jod has lied to every person he's met except the children. I'm not sure what he's doing with the pirates. Is he setting them up for a great fall or just Brutus? Either way, I think he's planning his exit from pirate life, but we'll see soon enough. As you said, he could have used the Force to free himself--Brutus has the lightsaber Jod had next to him in his seat. Could Jod act quickly enough to kill everyone that would have come at him had he killed Brutus right than and there? Probably not, but I don't think he wants to kill his old crew either. I think he's trying to have the best of both worlds as we saw when he was exiting Tak Rennod's lair. Jod needs to make a choice. Has he made it?

Me too, totally my fave episode! BDH is a rockstar- this was some stellar directing from her, with both delicate moments and great dramatic scenes ❤
