I just watched Poipole's goodbye for the first time and when the edited episode play new lyrics of the opening. It really packed an emotional punch and I had to look up the cover to see the lyrics. You did a great job with this.

Thank you so much for this cover. The Alola anime and games came out when I was in my sophomore year in college during a rough patch in my life. So seeing the last traces of it slip away as the games and anime move on to a new region just make me remember the good times I had with 7th gen-the region, the characters, the story, the music, the Pokémon I caught, the friends I’ve made irl thanks to this gen... This song especially struck me hard. A relaxed slice of life anime was what I needed during serious issues I had to push through, and the Sun and Moon anime helped me feel like a kid again, even getting attached to the show emotionally when Poipole had to leave. Being a fan of 7th gen was rough, thanks to the harsh criticism the games and anime got. Some of it was deserved, but a lot of it was just people being extremely harsh just because it wasn’t their thing. That sort of backlash and constant harassment made it really discouraging to be a fan of this gen without running into those types of people giving you a hard time. That's why I’m glad the last few episodes of the anime were able to change a lot of people around to give this gen a chance near the end, and apologize for how they acted before. It’s fine to criticize something, but not to the point it harms or harasses others... Thanks for giving this one last sendoff to Alola, and here’s hoping 8th gen turns out good in its own right! I really like how the lyrics reflect the end of 7th gen as a whole.
Yeah this is the best series for me right now most of the haters just hate this because it was different from other series, but it seems really SM was really successful that's why pokemon 2019 Ash is 100% similar to SM Ash just with better look and they're going with different formula again.

@@harleyantony it is a reboot. Just because it has references to the old series doesn't make it a continuation. The fact that ash's whole origin is changed from when he wakes up in pallet town. To Pikachu getting a new back story. That's a reboot. Explain where Go came from? Because unless he was in the original season 1. There's not explanation you can give that wouldn't make it a reboot. Not even mentioning X&Y showed ash went to a Pokémon camp with Serena. Something that has been changed to another camp with Go. Again, showing it's a reboot. Get your facts straight.
Pikachu’s Origin was never shown before so that wasn’t changed at all we just get to see it now finally, and what are you talking about with the camp? Ash never even went to the camp with Go because if you watched the episode you’d know he slept in late, so he would’ve gone with Serena later on in life at a different camp.
