couple of years ago I chose Atalanta as my Serie A side bcs I live in Atlanta, love stripes, and prefer the Italian Alps. Today is a day of glory!! 💙🖤💙🖤🏆 💥
Even as a German I have to admit that this was a excethe Box or in llent game form Atalanta. Leverkusen did never manage to get close to dangerous zones. Chance quality was lousy. I would say maybe Alonso miscoached the game in the first half. There was no one in the box when needed. He obviously changed that in the halfitime. The pressing from Atalanta on the other side was magnificent and their quite physical defending was as well excellent. Lookman made as well the game of his life. But it was a wonderful team effort.
I feel a bit sad for Leverkusen, but it was so deserved for Atalanta.
I am from Bergamo and I would like to correct some data you provided about Bergamo. The city has 120,000 inhabitants and the province has one million inhabitants, so the Bergamschi are around one million.
If you didn’t think Atalanta would win. You don’t know Calcio. Bigger, faster, stronger. With all due respect BL have not faced a team of this level.
I would agree, the strength in a lot of Italian teams is their coaches, while on paper Atalanta isn't Bayern Munich, they are tactically more advanced.
Who told Bayer leverkusen have not meet strong experience through out their unbeaten record. There are club like Bayern Leipzig who are more advanced and experience in every position on the pitch than Atalanta

I don't know what you mean by there being too much competition in English football, sure, it's very competitive but not any more so than Serie A. Arguably, Serie A is even more so. They have had 4 teams win the league in the last 4 years, if that's not competitive I don't know what is.
