My Natural Hair Journey

This is a slideshow depicting my natural hair journey! I started transitioning in February of 2012 and big chopped later that year in September. I don't regret one second of my journey. Thank you to all of the beautiful natural haired women on youtube, facebook, twitter, instagram and various websites. We all inspire one another throughout each of our own journeys and it's a beautiful experience to be a part of.

Wow, its amazing because the slides around the 2:01 mark look exactly like my wet hair but I am 4c hair type and your newer videos show you with ultra defined moisturized curls, is there something that contributed to the shift that you would recommend or a certain product?

The biggest thing I recommend is keeping up with a hydration routine. My curls have changed completely over the years. When I stopped putting raw oils and butters on my hair they became more defined and hydrated! Check out @iamblackgirlcurls for more info 😌
