I was expecting a $5-8k price. For $15k you can get a real, reliable and air conditioned car like the Nissan Versa. This car does not help the cause of EVs.
Seriously, to really promote EVs you need to offer ***equivalent*** EV alternatives at the same or lower prices.

You can buy an extra battery, charge while driving using a portable solar generator. You can charge using an ALF propane generator and 1lb. tank so this can go and go and go.
